Kristi Palmer thinks Joel Byler is the man she will marry - until she suddenly learns he has been hiding a lot from her. He never told her about growing up Amish, but the bigger problem is that he rebelled from all that was good in his upbringing and has put his selfish desires first. Now he has stolen money from their joint account, and she is done with the relationship. Can trust broken ever be mended?

A difficult marriage has left the Helmuths' widowed great-granddaughter, Beth, finished with wedlock. She's content to live with her great-grandparents and make a life for herself and her toddler son. But once she turns down handsome Tyler Yoder's proposal, it seems only fair to encourage him to find a suitable wife. Trouble is his gentleness and generous ways are showing her how joyous a real meeting of hearts can be....
the caricatures in these books were endearing and the book was sprinkled with liberal doses of laughter
Having traded in her career as a successful investigative journalist for the life of a stay-at-home mom in picturesque Cumberland Creek, Virginia, Annie can't help but feel that something's missing. But she finds solace in a local "crop circle" of scrapbookers united by chore-shy husbands, demanding children, and occasional fantasies of their former single lives.
I was surprised of the complex plot mystery and the characters and issues all balanced with humor not my regular type of book I enjoyed it

Abounding with good-natured fun, A Case of Crooked Letters celebrates the pure, Christian values of small-town America. Trouble is brewing in the sleepy hamlet of Morning Shade. Multiple chain letters are circulating throughout town, and a local resident is to blame. Little old ladies are being victimized by empty promises of vast riches and rejuvenated health. Fortunately, the plucky Stella Diamond is on the case.
