This was a sweet, sexy, emotional ending to the No Regrets series. Harley and Trey's story starts in their prequel novella, The Start of Us, and really takes off in book one of the series, The Thrill of It. Like book one of the series, this book had plenty of drama, just of a different variety. Harley and Trey are officially together at the beginning of this book with Harley concerned over how Trey will react to the news that she's pregnant (which she discovered at the end of the previous book). The book takes place over the course of Harley's pregnancy and a few months after. This book is one that might pull at the heart strings a bit. Despite the stressful and sad parts of the book, however, Harley and Trey come out on top and find their HEA. This book contains no cliffhanger. I would no recommend reading this book as a stand-alone. At the very least, one should read The Thrill of It first. Reading The Start of Us is optional, honestly. It is the story of the night they met and quite short.

Erin Mallon did a great job of narrating both book one and this one. She gave distinct voices to the characters, which I really appreciated.

Some say love can be an addiction. Others say it's the thing that makes life worth living. Let me tell you everything I know about love...Love isn't patient, love isn't kind. Love is a game, a chase. A thrill. Love is wild and war-like, and every man and woman must fight for themselves. At least that's how it was for me. A high-priced virgin call girl by the time I started college, I was addicted to love and to sex. Even though I've never had either. I controlled love, played it, and held the world in the palm of my hands.

Of all of the Lauren Blakely books I've read (including the Caught Up in Love, Seductive Nights, Big Rock, and Most Valuable Playboy series along with several stand-alones) this possibly held the most drama. Harley and Trey also seem to be the youngest protagonists yet at 19 and 21, respectively. Both Harley and Trey are addicts and attend the Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous group led by JoAnne. Harley was formerly a call girl and Trey slept with older women to numb the pain of loss. Trey is attending the group voluntarily, whereas Harley is being blackmailed into it along with writing a book, Memoirs of a Teenage Sex Addict, by her mother's editor, Miranda. Harley's mom, Barb Coleman, is selfish and more concerned with having Harley as a friend than a daughter. Harley's pimp, Cam, is the only person that seems to have truly cared for her, so breaking ties with him and Layla, the girl she is with/for him, is incredibly difficult. I quite liked Cam despite his questionable business practices. In the book we meet Harley's best friend and roommate, Kristen, and Trey's friend, Jordan. Michelle Milo from Nights with Him (book 4 in the Seductive Nights series) also makes several appearances in this book as Trey's shrink. The book ends in a huge cliffhanger with Harley concerned about Trey's reaction to the news she now has.

This was the first Erin Mallon book I've listened to and I really enjoyed her narration. She does a great job of giving all of the characters distinct and unique voices.

When they collide, it's tender and savage, gentle and rough, and makes them both hungry for more of this electric, once-in-a-blue moon kind of sexual chemistry. But it's a battle of wills between Michael and the woman he loves, with words and emotions held close to the vest.

This is the grand finale to the Sinful Nights series. Despite how much we have learned in the first three books, this book held yet more surprises. One of my favorite parts of the book is that we get to see flashbacks from both Michael's and Thomas Prince's perspective. It was super interesting to hear what happened in the days and weeks before Thomas was murdered. Lauren Blakely wraps everything up nicely in this book. We learn the full truth behind Thomas' murder and all of the players in it. Additionally, we get to see the HEA of all of the characters a couple of years down the road at the end, which I appreciated. Something I also really enjoyed about this book is how big a role Annalise ends up playing in untangling the mess of the murder. As the book progresses and Annalise learns more about the murder, memories of things she never previously connected are revealed.

I was a bit disappointed in Josh Goodman's performance in this book. First off, Annalise is French. She was born and raised in France and has spent the majority of her life there. Yet, somehow, she has no accent. Furthermore, her mother and sister both have a French accent. That being said, I was not impressed with Goodman's French accent. He seems to do a decent job with Charlie's accent, but that seems to be it.

I think this might be tied for my favorite book in the Seductive Nights series (and therefore also the Joy Delivered series). It's really hard to choose between this book and Nights with Him (book 4). Casey and Nate's story is sweet and sexy. Nate has lusted after Casey for years and is more than happy to assist her when she asks for his help in being less commanding in the bedroom. Of the books in the series, this one had the least amount of drama. The story features a HEA ending and no cliffhanger. It can be read as a stand-alone if desired. Once again, Sebastian York narrated beautifully.

In this book the overarching plot of the series thickens immensely. The Sloan siblings discover things about their mother and others in their lives they never would've guessed. And none of those things are good.

This is the story of Elle Mariano and Colin Sloan. Elle has a teenage son, Alex, and runs the Beethoven Center (a local community center Sophie held a fundraiser for in Sinful Desire). She is close also with her mother and her sister, Camille. Colin is the fourth child of what he and his siblings had always known to be four children. At the end of Sinful Desire we learn that the guy that's been skulking around Shannon's place and generally freaking them out is actually their half brother, Marcus. We get to see a lot more of Marcus in this book and also how he came to tell his siblings about his existence.

As the director of the community center and a social worker, Elle has discussed revealing himself to his siblings with Marcus on many occasions. But she never knew who those siblings were, only that his dad never wanted him to look for them or meet them while Marcus lived under his roof. Now that Marcus is living with friends, he's free to pursue the search and meet his siblings.

Colin is a recovered addict. His drugs of choice were pills and alcohol. He has been clean for many years. He desperately wants to be with Elle, but believes that she will never accept him because of his past. He knows that Elle's husband, and Alex's father, went in and out of rehab for a long time before ODing and dying in her arms. Alex had witnessed it and retreated into himself for a long time, until video games finally brought him back out. Elle doesn't want to put Alex through that again and just can't be certain Colin won't relapse despite how many years he's been sober.

At the end of the book it looks like Elle and Colin are on the way to their HEA. There's a cliffhanger. Marcus drops a bomb perhaps even bigger than the one at the end of Sinful Desire. I suppose this book could be read as a stand-alone if so desired, but I would recommend reading the rest of the series (if only because they're great books). Reading the first two books in the series (Sweet Sinful Nights and Sinful Desire, respectively) would give the reader a greater appreciation for the ways their father's murder and mother's culpability in it have impacted the siblings. One could argue that each book in this series could be read as a stand-alone and they'd be mostly right. The series is just so much better when read as a whole to get all of the overarching plot.

There was one downside to the book. I felt like maybe not enough time was spent on Elle and Colin's romance compared to the first two books. Maybe there's just so much more going on that the romance is pushed aside ever so slightly. Perhaps with so much going on I got distracted from the romance. I can't say for certain. Honestly, Lauren Blakely could've afforded to add more to this book in that respect, to flush it out a little more. The audio version of the book is only 7 hours 49 minutes, shorter than the other books in the series by about 2+ hours.

Once again, Josh Goodman performed beautifully. I'm excited he's narrating the next (and unfortunately last) book in the series, Sinful Love.

The story of the Sloan siblings started in the first book of the Sinful Nights series, Sweet Sinful Nights, which featured Shannon and Brent. In this book we get to hear the story of Sophie Winston and Ryan Sloan. Ryan is the second oldest of the siblings. At the end of the previous book, we learned that their mother's case had been reopened. During this book we get to see the case start to take shape, with some shocking twists that throw Ryan for a loop, big time. It just so happens that the lead detective on the case, John Winston, is Sophie's older brother. The day Sophie and Ryan met was the day he was going in for questioning. For the last 18 years, Ryan has been keeping secrets. Secrets from his siblings, secrets from the police, secrets from everybody. He's been locked down tight and kept all but his siblings and grandparents at a distance (and even then, he never completely opened up). When Sophie is so open and honest with Ryan, he starts to feel guilty for keeping secrets. As he starts to fall for her, he makes the decision that it is time to open up to someone. Over the course of the book, new details of Ryan's father's murder are uncovered. While I'd say the book is mostly HEA, there is also a bit of a cliffhanger. Things for Sophie and Ryan are great at the end of the book, but the reader is thrown a curve ball in the last scene. This book could be read without having read the first book in the series, if so desired. Once again, I really enjoyed Josh Goodman's narration. He has a great voice for it.

Ten years ago, Brent Nichols broke Shannon Paige's heart when he chose his job over her. Now that one of his night clubs has hired her company to provide dancers/choreography, he has a second chance.

Brent is Clay's younger brother. (Clay's story with Julia is featured in the first several books of the Seductive Nights series: First Night [0.5], Night After Night [1], After This Night [2], One More Night [3], Ace, Whiskey and a Hot Tub [3.25], Julia and Clay Plus One [3.5], and A Wildly Seductive Night [3.75].) Brent started his career as a comedian, landing his first big gig as a writer for Late Night Antics at 21 (making him the youngest writer on the show). Wanting to stop while he was still on top, Brent has moved on to the club business. He owns clubs (called Edge) in several cities and is working at opening one in New York. Though ten years have passed, Brent never stopped loving Shannon. He has a comedy routine called King Schmuck that refers to a scene in Nate Harper's office in Forbidden Nights (book 5 of Seductive Nights/book 2 of Joy Delivered) that makes it abundantly clear he never stopped thinking about her.

When Brent left, Shannon got the opportunity to choreograph West Side Story (which she would not have done had they stayed together). Over the past ten years, she has come far in the business and started and now owns Shae Productions. In business, she goes by Shae Sloan. She has three brothers, each of which has his own story in the Sinful Nights series: Michael (the oldest; Sinful Love, book 4), Ryan (second child; Sinful Desire, book 2), and Colin (her twin; Sinful Longing, book 3). 18 years ago their father (Thomas Prince) was shot in a drive by shooting in his own driveway and their mother (Dora Prince) was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder for hiring the killer. After their father's death and mother's incarceration, the four of them went to live with their paternal grandparents, that they are still very close with. As it turns out, she never truly stopped loving him either.

Over the course of the book the two face many obstacles. Brent is having a hard time securing the property in New York for his club because of the locals (and, honestly, the landlord is a bit of a jerk). Shannon finds herself needing to see her mother, who proclaims her innocence to this day and has gone a bit batty in prison. It is because of one another that both of them succeed in their endeavors.

Overall, this was a sweet, sexy story with strong family elements. I loved how close Shannon was with her brothers and grandparents. There are many steamy scenes woven into an enjoyable story line. The book is HEA and with no cliffhanger and can be read as a stand-alone. Josh Goodman, the narrator for the Audible version of this book, had another great performance in this book (he also narrated books 1, 2, and 3 of the Seductive Nights series).

I've enjoyed Julia and Clay's story over the past three books. This is the technical conclusion to their story. There are, however, a few novellas that follow it that are about Julia and Clay (Ace, Whiskey and a Hot Tub, Julia and Clay Plus One, and A Wildly Seductive Night). This book takes place mostly in Las Vegas, NV. In it we see the proposal that was alluded to at the end of After This Night. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved the way Clay proposed, especially because it has so much meaning to them and their relationship. At the end of the last book I was wondering where the drama would come from now that Charlie had been payed off. I discovered that, while the debt might've been paid, it doesn't mean Julia's past as his ringer doesn't follow her. There is also the matter of the pick pocket (of chips) currently prowling the Strip. It was very interesting to see how these two different issues came together in the book. Overall, this was another great book by Lauren Blakely. Once again, Josh Goodman's performance was wonderful. This book is HEA with no cliffhanger.

Clay makes a bit of a hypocritical move making Julia second guess their relationship. Realizing his error and not wanting to lose her, Clay gets her one of the things she wants most in the world, with some help from his friend Cam and the IRS. The ending of this book seems very HEA, despite knowing their story isn't over yet. I am curious to see where the story goes from here. Lauren Blakely has packed drama, love and sex into both Night After Night and this book. I'm curious where the drama aspect will come from in One More Night now that Julia and Clay are in such a great place, both as individuals and as a couple. This book cannot be read as a stand-alone. At the very least, you need to read Night After Night before embarking on this one. That being said, I believe you could let the story end here if you so choose. At the end of the book all parties are happy and whether or not there's cliffhanger is debatable. Once again, Josh Goodman's narration was excellent. He has a fantastic voice.

This is the 17th Lauren Blakely book I've read and it definitely had the most drama out of all of them. Honestly, it might've had more drama than the other 16 combined, and this is only the first part of Julia and Clay's story. While I'm not always huge on drama, I did enjoy this book a lot and will definitely be continuing onto After This Night. There were also many steamy scenes involved in this book. The series is called Seductive Nights for a reason. This book ends in a huge cliffhanger and on a low note and cannot be read as a stand-alone (unless you're fine not knowing the rest of the story, that is).
