Secrets never stay hidden. The burden of guilt never lifts from the heart. Born and raised in The Order of David, Sister Phebe knows nothing but cult life. Head of the Sacred Sisters of New Zion, Phebe was groomed from childhood for one purpose: to seduce. Prized as a harlot, Phebe is taken from the doomed cult by Meister, the notorious leader of the Aryan Brotherhood. Taken as his possession. Taken to be the woman who will obey his every sexual demand. Under his heavy hand, Phebe finds herself in a place much worse than she could ever have imagined... with absolutely no one to help.
I enjoyed the other books in the series. But this book had too many graphic things going on. I never really liked the way they called their women bitches. I just couldn’t get into the dark part of this book. I had to fast forward through most of that. Beware if you can’t deal with rape and violence and cruelty. This book is not for you. There was to much twisted and awful things going on throughout the book. With not a lot of romance it was way too dark for me
The first time I laid eyes on Lydia Decker, I couldn’t speak. Or breathe. Or string two coherent thoughts together. And I don’t mean any of that figuratively. No, when I first laid eyes on Lydia Decker - my physical therapist - I was lying flat on my back in the ICU, high as a kite on painkillers, breathing on a ventilator, my bones as broken and splintered as my spirit. She said she’d been assigned to fix me. But what I didn’t know...what I couldn’t possibly know...was that Lydia Decker needed fixing far more than I ever did.
It was just too long and dragged out. But I loved the narrates. Also The way the brothers interacted they are hilarious. The love scenes were hot.
It was a good book But it just seem to drag out way too long for my liking.

Alec Mackenzie knows Lady Celia is key to finding his missing brother. The trouble is, Alec is supposed to be dead, and he needs the world to keep believing that. Alec will do anything to find his brother, Will, including pretend to be a penniless drawing master to London aristocrats. The one man who might know where his brother is being held is a powerful duke, and that duke has daughter who needs art lessons....
I enjoyed the book with all the intrigue and mystery. But I missed all the hot and steamy sex
scenes as she had in her previous books. It was the last three hours of the book that I enjoyed the most. A lot of the first few hours could have been shortened. I am hoping the next book about Will will have more steam. But with the same excitement and suspense.

I stole her in the night. Caged her because I can't live without her. She's my love, my addiction, my obsession. I will do anything to keep Sara mine.
I loved book 1 and got book 2 right away but I'm so pissed that it was ANOTHER CLIFF HANGER. And who knows when book 3 comes out. And will that be another cliff hanger. Whey do authors do this? Well so we have to pay more and more to finish the book. And than not to let use know how many books there are and that it's not finished. It makes me so mad I want to quit listening to that author and then stop listening or reading any books that has series. By the time the 3rd book comes out No way will I remember the first 2. I love audible but why can't they let people know that a book ends with a cliff hanger. I don't like being hung out there on a limb.
Tegen Matthews is the daughter of Dorothy Kelley, a club whore in the Hell's Horsemen. A plain little girl, Tegen falls into the gritty world of the motorcycle club. When she meets a sweet, caring boy, she embraces the warmth and affection he shows her. Cage West is the son of the president of the Hell's Horsemen. Tall and blond with deep brown eyes, as he grows up Cage realizes the power of his dimpled smile and smooth drawl. With one chance encounter, Tegen becomes forever tied to Cage.
There was just way too much arguing and fighting and cussing in this book.
The bikers are supposed to be about family and brotherhood. I enjoyed the first couple books in the series. But this was not a book that I would listen to again. Too much anger and not enough story. w
I couldn’t really call it a romance
Cage and his woman spent most of the book fighting and hating each other.
Not everything is roses, chocolates, and vibrators in Zara's life...until Talon, Hawks MC president, wants to claim her as his. Zara Edgingway is a 26-year-old secretary. She has a daughter who apparently knows it all and a best friend who could possibly have the mouth of Satan, but she's been with her through hell and back. Then there's the hunk-a-licious biker neighbor finally showing interest in her. If only she wasn't about to face her next obstacle in life, the one she ran from six years ago: her ex-husband.
I think this would have been a good book but the readers were just to bad. I couldn't tell who was who as she never seemed to even try and change her voice. I had to stop listening to it and hope I can go back to it sometime.
After a painful loss, Cady Moreland is coming to Magdalene to start the next chapter of her life. A chapter that began 18 years ago but had a heartbreaking ending. The time in between was full of family and friendship, but Cady could never get the man she fell in love with all those years ago out of her heart. Coert Yeager has learned to live without the girl who entered his life right when she shouldn't and exited delivering a crippling blow he never would have suspected. The time in between was full of failing to find what he was missing...and life-altering betrayal.
I wish some of her books would be a little less into dialogue. And a little less descriptions of little things that really don't need to be in the book. I have read many of her books and enjoy them. This one is no different besides it being too long and dragged out Times.

Will Axel steal this thief's heart? Axel's got a score to settle. Growing up, Axel dreamed of living a normal life as a law-abiding citizen with a good woman at his side. But life has a way of kicking your dreams in the teeth. Now he owns Seventh Circle Motors and spends his days working on cars and his nights by himself. The Four Horsemen have been blackmailed into a partnership with a bootlegger and mobster, Byron Beauregard. As the new club president, Axel wants to shut that down.
This is supposed to be a biker book. A romance book. Let's just say it felt like A group of Boy Scouts. I'm so disappointed with this book that I didn't want to finish it. There was more inner dialogue than anything. Even the romance and sex was all inner dialogue. Because there was nothing romantic going on just a lot of people talking about how to get the gun back and not have to do the drug deal. Save your credit!!!
My husband traded me away to save his own life...and now I belong to the devil. One night and everything in my life changed. Two words and my world turned dark: "Take her." Owing the most ruthless crime lord in Garden City five million dollars, my husband chose to trade me and my children away to save himself. I was on the cusp of freedom, so close to divorcing that scumbag I was married to. Now I'm enslaved to a man who is obsessed with me. A man so wicked and beautiful they call him Lucifer.
If you like books were a man can just take a woman and her children and say they he his. Whether she wants it or not she has to do it. And she eventually goes along with this. It is unreal. Along with letting her watch killings and torture that's no kind of hero that's a sick man to me. Let's just say this book was a big disappointment and the author really should do a little bit of more thinking before she writes your next book.

My childhood was stolen by a monster. I've forgotten what love feels like. What happiness feels like. What hope feels like. I am numb. Him: He's possibly as damaged as I am. Maybe even more. Scarred just as much on the inside as the outside. Just like me. He doesn't speak. He doesn't smile. He hides in the woods like an animal. I should be scared of him, but I'm not. He's the only one that has ever made me feel. And I want to make him feel, too. Everything....
This was a book filled with tragedy and heartbreak. But most of all love and understanding. For two souls trying to find there way back into a life that they thought they could never have. There's only one Love scene at the end that is tender caring and and something they never thought they would each find together.
I usually enjoy my romance books with more sexual encounters but this is a book filled with so much feeling that I never missed not having it. Well worth my credit and then some.
