I'm a lot of things - a screwup, a basket case, a flunky. But when I take a nanny job to be near my pregnant sister, I swear to myself I'll walk the straight and narrow, which means I cannot fall for my insanely hot boss. I don't want to be tempted by that rugged rancher. By his chiseled muscles or southern charm or the way he snuggles his kids at bedtime. Ethan Carter won't get the key to my heart, no matter how much I want him.
Great book! I mean single dad, cowboy (kinda), loving nanny...SOLD! I love these characters! Ethan is a great single dad who is close to his family, he's hard working and protective! Tori is a feisty fun girl who is having a rough time in life and needs to find her place. What a better place than in the middle of a pre-made family who can give her everything she needs. I love how she is with the kids during the day and with Ethan at night!
The narration is ok, I felt like it was a little off since this story takes place in Texas I guess I expect them to have accents. Hearing Y'all said without an accent seemed weird to me. Other than that, they are both good narrators!

Being a Hollywood heartthrob has its perks, and I've damn sure enjoyed every one of them, both on and off the silver screen. The tabloids loved every second of exploiting my privacy, chronicling my mistakes in ink for the whole world to see. Accepting the lead role in a romantic dance film was guaranteed to make me a box office hit and help me rewrite my image - until the choreographer hired to train me turned out to be the only woman I'd ever loved and lost.
I enjoyed this book but not as much as the first book. This one was good, just not as original as the first. This is a second chance romance which is a favorite of mine and the author did it well! It was sweet and felt a little like a Rom Com movie. Reed and Teagan had some past issues but they figure it out and thankfully we get a happy ending!
The narration was good, I enjoyed both of them.
Her brother died. Her parents divorced. Her high school bully is relentless. Cosette doesn't have a lot to live for, but it isn't until she accidentally kills someone that Cosette makes the decision to take her own life. Unwilling to bring shame to her mom, best friend Mattie, or her boyfriend Chris, Cosette decides the best method of suicide is to become a victim of the local serial killer, The Poser. But every time she goes out to find him she gets attacked; her instincts take over, and she ends up killing her attackers. This quickly leads to unbearable guilt. Desperate to finish this before she gets caught or racks up more victims, Cosette does the unthinkable.
This book was recommended to me by a friend who knows my taste and I started it immediately when she described it as Cruel Intentions meets Pretty Little Liars meets Heathers... that alone had me completely intrigued. And man she was completely right, I think it was mostly like Heathers which I loved.
I hesitate to say this is YA because it's not, it just has teenage characters not teenage situations. This book was dark and twisty and I listened until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer! It would have been one I finished in 1 day if I had started it earlier. I love when a book pulls me in and it's like an accident you can't look away from, you know the kind, the book you know your not supposed to like cause it's dark and a whole lot of messed up but you love it and want to tell the world about how good it is! I don't want to tell anything about the story in my review because these are the type of stories I think are best enjoyed when you go in blind. It ended in a cliffhanger but not one that had me screaming at the author and it probably helps that I know book 2 will be out on audio very soon! This author just moved herself onto my auto buy list with just 1 book!
The narration was perfect! Michelle Sparks really did an awesome job as Cozy & as Chris. She is the type of narrator that makes you forget your listening to someone read you a story and makes you feel like your there while it's happening.

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.
I loved this audiobook! Not only was it fun and sexy but it also had seriously great characters! Miles was perfect! He is a hard working blue collar guy with a little baggage but he was also fun and flirty and sweet. Kate too was so much fun, I love how obsessive she was about finding the perfect writing spot and how she used her Pen name as a way to let loose and be herself instead of being who she thought she should be. There were a few parts (especially the pizza delivery) that had mu giggling like crazy. I think what I loved the most about the story was how down to earth it was and how in the end it was a sexy feel good book! Amy Daws really had me from chapter one on this one.
The narration was INCREDIBLE!!!! Erin Mallon & Teddy Hamilton are an amazing dream narration team. They both are great at both POV and together they rocked this audiobook!!!!
The secret daughter of the head of an infamous Skilled crime family, Sera Brandt has hidden her past, her potential, and especially her powers. But when a tragedy strikes her other family, Sera needs justice. And the only way to get it is to reveal her heritage - including a rare Skill - and take the reins of the Tower Syndicate from her cunning and malicious aunt.
I wasn't sure when I finished book 2 who I wanted book 3 to be about and when it was Kristoper, I was a little disappointed... but that lasted about 5 minutes. I love how this book started and how it ended! Kris & Sera were both the unlikely hero's to this series but in the end they kicked butt. I love how the characters from book 1 & 2 play a large roll in this book 2. Each book in this series introduced new abilities and that had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I will say I think this book was a little slow at times but I still really enjoyed it.
Garbra Zackman does a great job playing everything from the sweet timid girl to the psychotic killer and that is great work to me!
Kori Daniels is a shadow-walker, able to travel instantly from one shadow to another. After weeks of confinement for betraying her boss, she's ready to break free of the Tower syndicate for good. But Jake Tower has one final job for Kori, one chance to secure freedom for herself and her sister, Kenley, even if it means taking it from someone else.
I forgot how much I loved Ian and the way he falls for Kori! She is a tough girl with lots of baggage and he handles her perfectly. I love how she teaches him how to find the loop holes in her world and together they win! This series has so many twists and turns and I love that. Keeps me on my toes the entire time. Love the world the author has great and how original it is compared to all the other PNR i've read over the years.
The narration was good, She may take a minute to get into but I think she doesn't a great job.
Most can’t touch the power. But Liv Warren is special—a paranormal tracker who follows the scent of blood. Liv makes her own rules, and the most important one is trust no one. But when her friend’s daughter goes missing, Liv has no choice but to find the girl. Thanks to a childhood oath,Liv can’t rest until the child is home safe. But that means trusting Cam Caballero, the former lover forbidden to her.
This was a re-listen for me from years ago and i enjoyed it just as much the second time. I really like that this is so different from other PNR books. No Vampires, Werewolves or witches here, only humans with special abilities. I loved how these characters found loop holes all the way through this book. Cam & Liv have a past and I always love that in my romance but I also love how equal these two are. They are fighting the system together and man they did it well.
The narration was good, I really enjoy this narrator when ever I listen to her work.
Things are going to get...complicated. This is book 2 (the final book) of the Complicated Hearts Duet. Book 1 must be listened to first.
This one was very different then what I was expecting in a good way! I really expected this one to be all drama after the way book 1 ended and while it did have lots of drama, it wasn't as much as I would have thought. I really like the way this one was handled even if I felt Breslin was a bit full of herself. This book was hot and filled with excitement and twists. This was my first Ashley Jade series and It won't be my last!
The narration was perfect!!! Both narrators did an awesome job on these characters.
Breslin - I was in love with Asher Holden the moment I saw him. Then he hurt me. He wrecked me. He ruined me. I spent three years putting myself together - fixing what he broke. Asher - I finally know who I am. I own it, I embrace it...I'm no longer afraid. Landon - My life was all mapped out. I knew exactly what direction I was heading in. Then I meet her. And him. Now, my heart is split right down the middle.
This book had me from the first minute. The anticipation started and didn't stop even in the end. I loved Landon & Asher so much, I am a little annoyed that Breslin is going to come in and cause lots of drama for them but I get it, She is THE one! I can't wait to start book two but i'm also dreading all the drama I see coming and I can't imagine a way around it. I'm not a fan of love triangles so I'm really hoping for a circle! Fingers crossed that this author will continue to pull me in and make me like Breslin and book 2 even half as much as I loved Landon/Asher in book 1.
The narration was perfect! Teddy Hamilton & Mia Madison did a great job. The only thing that could have made this any better was giving Asher/Landon two different narrators, it's always a little easier to follow a mostly M/M POV audio when they don't sound the same.
When I first met Jasmine Greene, she came in as raindrops. I was the awkward musician, and she was the high school queen. The only things we had in common were our music and our loneliness. Something in her eyes told me her smile wasn't always the truth. Something in her voice gave me a hope I always wished to find. And in a flash, she was gone. Years later, she was standing in front of me on a street in New Orleans. She was different, but so was I.
Another great book from this author. I know going into a Brittainy Cherry book that it will be an emotional roller coaster and that is exactly what this book was! Jasmine & Elliott were both great characters. Jasmine had some baggage thanks to her mother and Eli had a very rough time in high school. Eli is damaged by tragedy until Jasmine helps to bring back the boy she once knew. It was rough, sweet, emotional and heartbreaking.
The narration was 50/50 for me. Erin Mallon was great, her Elliott was fantastic. Kevin Free wasn't what I thought Elliott sounded like and his female's came across too excited and high pitched for my taste.
