I loved book one of this series, and this one did not disappoint me.
Once again, we go back to Redemption Harbor and the Redemption Harbor Consulting company. An agency made up of lifelong friends that are as close as a family can be, and whose goal is to help those in need. Not always “coloring inside the lines”.
This story gives us Zac Savage, and Olivia Carter. These two have a past they are not proud of, but have been able to overcome .
Savage has recently joined his friends’ company. He is called upon to help Olivia and her daughter Valencia. Olivia is a college friend of Skye’s , who considers her a sister. Skye is a character in book 1.
Without giving away the plot , suffice is to say that it’s a story filled with non-stop intrigue, bad guys, ex-boyfriend, double crossing , and action that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
And let’s not forget, a strong attraction between Olivia and Zac. So great that both wish what they never thought would be possible to have in their lives, love and a future with someone special.
Not only did the author deliver us a complex, and well developed plot, but she also gives us strong main and secondary characters. I love the fact that the females are dynamic.
The narrator, Ms Sophie Eastlake, brings the story to life.
I voluntarily listened to this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I am new to this author and was given the opportunity to listen to this audiobook.
This story centers around Mel and Adam. At first friends, and later lovers.
It’s an engaging story with complex characters . Of course, there is also someone that is not happy with this new relationship.
But , is it right cross that line? Can they have a real relationship?
Will they find their HEA?

I discovered this author with this story when I read the book. I became a fan forever. I decided to listen to the audiobook and loved it even more.
This is the first book in a series that promises to be keep us on the edge of our seats for a long time.
The main characters in this one are Skye Arevalo, a CIA agent that to save her boyfriend and his friends, fakes her death, and Colt Stuart, the CIA agent she left behind, who has yet to recover from that “loss”.
It’s a story filled with intrigue, rescues, evil people, drug trafficking, kidnapping, and what extreme measures one might do for love .
But it’s more than that. It’s a story about the friendship of 6 individuals who became friends in their youth , in the town of Redemption Harbor. Who have stayed extremely close even as adults and who would do anything for each other. That kind of loyalty is rare and precious.
The series is appropriately titled Redemption Harbor for I foresee the redemption of each of them and those they will help.
The narrator, Sophie Eastlake, is excellent and brings the story to life.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and this one was another great story. As oppose to the others, not all the action takes place in Vegas and the Serafina.
The story belongs to former Marine and now Security Specialist Roman MacNeil, and Taylor Arenas, computer wiz and friends Vadim, another of the Serafina’s Security Specialist.
When Taylor witnesses the murder of her boss and mentor, she flees the crime and calls for help to her friend Vadim. But Vadim is out of town , and after she breaks into Vadim’s home, she meets Roman.
Let’s just say that the story is filled with suspense, the Russian Mafia, a murderer that’s out for blood and of course romance. I really liked that Ms Reus doesn’t have them jumping into bed until the last 1/4 of the book. She creates a well developed plot and both characters are strong and complex individuals.
Another great story in this series. I must add that the narrator does an excellent job with the voices and his delivery.

Of the three books in this series I have read, Sweetest Surrender is my favorite story.
Vadim is a private consultant for Wyatt Christiansen, billionaire and owner of a very upscale hotel and casino in Las Vegas. Vadim is computer whiz, former military man, and a very quiet person with little personal relationships.
Angel, one of the waitresses at the Cloud Nine Restaurant in the hotel, has been running from a stalker for the past two years and keeps to herself. These two been attracted to each other since they met, and slowly become friends. When vandalism occurs and it seems Angel is in danger, Vadim moves heaven and earth to keep her safe.
It’s a story filled with suspense, an evil man, hunky good guys, and a plot that will keep you entertained. The main characters, Angel and Vadim, are well developed . While Vadim would probably frown on being called sweet, he definitely is , especially when it comes to Angel.
Definitely another great addition to this series.

These two challenge each other and try to outdo the other one . You will laugh at times with Jayne and Philip. Being an older reader, I could relate to them.
Glad I got a chance to try both this author and the series.

Loving Lauren, the first story in Ms Sanders new series, The West, is a sweet , touching story .
Three sisters that have experience the tragic loss of their mother, and later , their beloved father.
Lauren, the oldest of the girls, took charge at a young age, and did everything she could to keep them together and their ranch in their possession.
Seven years after their last loss, Chase returns to town. Now a veterinarian , he is back to help his Dad in his practice. But there is more to him than that. He and Lauren were friends and have a history.
This story is about family, not only the importance of the members, but also about the dynamics between them. It’s a story about survival and the steps some will take to keep the family together. As well as a story about trust, hope and opening your heart to others and to love. Not always an easy road to take.
An enjoyable start for this series . I am looking forward to the stories about the other two sisters, Alex and Haley.

The story belongs to Chef Sierra and Hayden, a Security Specialist in one of the most exclusive hotels in Vegas.
They have become friends and secretly have had feeling for each other, but it isn’t until Sierra is assaulted , that these feelings are revealed.
