I decide how good a story is by how much it draws me in. This story almost did a few times, but I never could be drawn in because the narrative was so bland.

There was some serious glossing over of really important detail as well. Let me say I normally don't need excessive detail to enjoy a story. But in this story some serious plot building was left on the table.

It is to bad this book had promise. In my opinion the author should have ether made the book longer, or split book one into two books.

Never hire this narrator agian, unless he can learn how to put in some emotion into his reading.

The perma players' new reality gains depth and color. The virtual world has seen its first birth - and its first death. The invisible umbilical cord connecting AlterWorld to Earth grows thinner, and even the Fallen One cannot prevent the looming catastrophe. Could Max have ignored the Russian girl who'd just escaped slavery in a virtual China? Could he have turned a deaf ear to her pleas as the desperate fugitive clutched at straws on hearing her native tongue?

I loved every second of this book oh man I want more!

Lots of fun without being silly.

I couldn't decide to groan or scream at the cliffhanger at the end. I have hundreds of audible books, this very well might be the best. I WANT MORE!!

Eric didn't ask to be a vampire. In fact he didn't even believe in them. Biting your own tongue with your fangs does a lot of convincing. Even so, being a part-time undead isn't as easy as you might think. It can let you hold down a day job, true, but sometimes the night "life" can be more than a little difficult, what with those bloodthirsty urges and predatory instincts kicking in.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....
