Jennie Arnsby wants nothing more than to turn around and go home. Her family is on their way to Deadwood, South Dakota, when Aiden finds his way to their small wagon train. His teasing and banter leave her wanting to toss him out the back and in the dust. When they are separated outside the city, she is left wondering if she'll ever see him again. Aiden Bradly wants to find his gold and return home. Nothing more. He can't afford to get tangled with a woman. He's doing just that until he meets the feisty Jennie.
Jennie is traveling to Deadwood with her family when Aiden comes across their path. She's not sure what to make of his attention and keeps him at arms length. This was a charming story that had me yelling back at the audiobook during the last few chapters, lol.

Cissie Rivers finds herself jealous of her best friend, Cindy, for the first time in her life. Cissie's always been smart, pretty, and a wonderful singer, but Cindy has found love, and Cissie is still alone. She isn't sure how much longer she can wait for matchmaker, Lachele, to find her perfect man. Patience has never been one of her virtues.
This book in the At The Altar series, brings us to Cissie, the siren of karaoke. After the previous book, where her best friend Cindy meets the love of her life, Cissie is more than ready to get married.
Bob contacts Lachele, after not having the nerve to approach Cissie himself. Sparks fly, but a few secrets come out and the newlyweds have to find a way to overcome and forgive.
This one put me through all ranges of emotions and I loved the chemistry and banter between the two main characters!
Trey Zayne, a web designer from Texas, is sick of his sister constantly trying to set him up with women he has no interest in. When he's contracted to do a website for a company called Matchrimony, he finds himself fascinated by the concept. A relational psychologist will interview him and find him a match. The only catch? They will meet at the altar. Can a techie from Texas fit in with a small town girl from Wisconsin? Will they find more than companionship and move straight to love?
This story is about Bed & Breakfast owner Cindy Lambert, who's tired of the dating scene and just wants a husband to come home to at the end of the day. After being set up by Matchrimony, she's wed to Trey Zayne, from Texas. The both have a lot to learn about married life, but when Trey's sister enters the equation with a bride she thinks is perfect for him, all bets are off.
I laughed so hard at this book while at work and every time my co-workers made me stop and tell them what happened in the story since I was listening to the audiobook. Can't wait to start the next one!
Savannah is tired of the dating scene, even though she wants to get married and have a family. She knows her mother will never move on with her own life as long as Savannah is single. Savannah goes to see a matchmaker, specializing in setting up couples who meet at the altar. At first, she thinks Scott is a dream come true, but his blundering soon makes her crazy.
The first in a series about two people meeting for the first time at the altar before agreeing to be married for a minimum of a year. This book had me laughing throughout, at the many blunders of a newlywed couple. Poor Scott is clueless when it comes to women and especially romance. I enjoyed the journey - this is my second time listening to the audiobook, and I'll definitely be visiting again!
My world changed at the stroke of midnight. No, I'm not Cinderella - she can suck it. When fate stepped in and waved its magic wand, my destiny, or what I thought was my destiny had been altered. With a new found energy, I decided things needed to change. This is my time. My turn to take life by the balls. No one will hold me back, yet one man will give me hope. This is my fairy tale, and I'll write my own ending. I'm Gretchen Prescott, and this is my story.
I've been looking forward to Gretchen's story ever since this series began and introduced us to Mason McDermott. I love strong, independent lead female characters and Gretchen Prescott does NOT disappoint! There's still two Prescott brother to go, and this series is an automatic buy for me, especially in the audiobook format!
Medically discharged from the Teams, notorious bachelor SEAL Morgan Hansen is approached to participate in the biggest undercover operation of his career. He is tasked with training and partnering with his ex from a breakup that made news headlines and nearly ended is career. Women’s empowerment guru Halley Hansen has built an empire around her live televised events and seminars. But her world-wide message for women has put her in the cross-hairs of a radical cleric leading a terrorist cell.
When an attack planned by a radical terrorist cell are revealed, SEAL Morgan Hansen is brought in on the mission, as the target is his ex-wife. Hailey Hansen is a self-made woman empowerment guru, and seeing her ex again is the last thing she wants.
This book keeps you on your toes, while trying to figure out who's working with the terrorists, and yet secretly wanting Morgan and Hailey to work things out. Another great book by Sharon Hamilton, one you can't put down once it starts.

His leg is the reason he's off the SEAL Teams, but it's his heart that hurts the most. Derek Farley has a lot of time on his hands now, but what he really wants is to get into trouble. If he could just show Remy he didn't need her, he could perhaps walk away a free man. So what else does a bad-ass former Navy SEAL explosives expert do? Enroll in culinary school in St. Helena! He might make a great pastry chef, if he can get that arrow out of his chest.
A great second chance love story! Derek Farley is looking for something to occupy his time, oddly enough he enrolls in the same culinary school as the one woman who got away. Remington Bolt is a firecracker and determined not to let Derek close enough to hurt her again, but love has a way of concuring all odds. This was a great read and I really enjoyed the audiobook!
Dane Prescott spends his days staring at perfect holes, and knows how to use his stiff shaft to get there. He's as hot as he is good at the sport he loves more than breathing. Dane has one goal and one goal only, to be on the professional golf tour. It's who he is and what he lives for. Women, although fun, aren't in his long-term plans.
I loved Incumbent, which is the first in this series, but step aside Drake, Dane has arrived! Golf and family is Dane's life, so he's thrown for a loop when Beverly Whitfield enters his life. She's more than anything he could've hoped for, but they both have challenges to overcome to be together. I absolutely adore the Prescott family and highly recommend this series!
My friends want me to get laid. So much so that they plastered my ugly mug all over campus in bold printed letters: Are you the lucky lady who's going to break our roommate's cherry? Him: Socially awkward man with average-sized penis looking for willing sexual partner. You: Must have a pulse. He will reciprocate with oral. Text him at: 555-254-5551. The morons can't even spell. And the texts I've been receiving are what wet dreams are made of. But I'm not like these douchebags, no matter how hard they try to turn me into one.
The story introduces us to Rhett, a transfer from out of state, and subject to pranks from his fellow members of the wrestling team. When one of them goes horribly wrong, he puts up walls to keep everyone out. Along comes Lauren, not intending to be cruel, just honestly intrigued by Rhett, especially the more she gets to know him.
This is the 3rd book in the Douchebag series and probably my favorite. Even though this one doesn't have the male lead as your "typical douche", he's surrounded by enough of his friends who try and influence him to become one. This series is highly entertaining and I will definitely be revisiting the audiobooks again in the future!
Zeke Daniels isn't just a douchebag; he's an asshole. A total and complete jerk, Zeke keeps people at a distance. He has no interest in relationships - most assholes don't. Dating? Being part of a couple? Nope. Not for him. He's never given any thought to what he wants in a girlfriend, because he's never had any intention of having one. Shit, he barely has a relationship with his family, and they're related; his own friends don't even like him. So why does he keep thinking about Violet DeLuca? Sweet, quiet Violet - his opposite in every sense of the word.
Zeke Daniels is the epitomy of an asshole. He's never had a girlfriend, nor does he want one. The more time he spends with shy Violet DeLuca, the more it resembles the appearance of a relationship, and that absolutely cannot happen.
This is the 2nd book in the Douchebag series and just as amazing as the first. I listened to the audiobook and have never wanted to punch a character more in my life! A great read and a terrific journey with the characters.
