Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I didn't like anything about this book. It was background noise.

Has Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs turned you off from other books in this genre?

no. maybe this author.

How could the performance have been better?

It may have been more about what she was reading compared to her performance. I found her voices irritating.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs?

I couldn't get past chapter 5. It was just so boring. I didn't find it funny at all. Not even quirky. It's just not for me. Seems like a lot of people like it though. I bought it after reading all of the reviews.

I equally want Caroline to write more books and Santino to narrate. I usually listen while doing housework. I would just sit on my couch when finished just to keep listening. You know Joe is the bad guy and you want him to win. Fantastic author. Incredible narrator. Use a credit or buy this book.

I find this story a bit boring. I really liked the second in the series, Days of Gold. Which I read first. I'm not sure why its considered a series. Just the name I guess. I'm only half way through and I'm not sure if I'm going to finish. I usually like Jude, this story just doesn't do it for me.

What made the experience of listening to Honor's Splendour the most enjoyable?

Julie Garwood's books are excellent. I can't say the experience of listening to it was enjoyable. Its more that it's back round noise which is a shame because I have read this book twice before and it's a great story.

What did you like best about this story?

Great historical romance.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Anne Flosnik?

Susan Duerden or Rosalyn Landor.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

no

Any additional comments?

If you like historical romances or Julie Garwood, read this book. Don't listen to it. Anne Flosnik doesn't do it justice. Its the second Julie Garwood book that I've listened to with Anne Flosnik narrating and I've been disappointed with both.

In her hilarious New York Times best seller You’ll Never Blue Ball in This Town Again, Heather McDonald recounted her adventures as an unwilling virgin in Hollywood. Now happily married with three wonderful kids, she shows that life as a grown-up - even a pretend grown-up - has its challenges. Heather’s a working mom with parents who live next door, a sister who keeps asking for one of her still-fertile eggs, and friends who are up to more hijinks than even Heather can handle.

Only Heather McDonald, maybe her mother

What was most disappointing about Heather McDonald’s story?

She isn't funny. Her voice is irritating. She truly gets on my nerves.

Would you be willing to try another one of Heather McDonald’s performances?

Absolutely not.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from My Inappropriate Life?

I would use someone else to narrate. She seems to pause mid sentence. She's so affected!

Any additional comments?

If you buy this, get ready for the over the top eye rolls.
