It was refreshing and enlightening getting inside Christian's head. This addition to the series has made one of my favorite series more enjoyable. I especially enjoyed what was happening with him after Ana walked away. I enjoyed it so much that I am again pulling out Fifty Shades Darker to re-read all over again. I hope that EL James will give us Christian's POV for both Darker and Freed.

Other than Paris' story, Torin's has been the one I have anticipated the most. My mind was very skeptical how Gena S was going to pull this off while being believable and enjoyable. Without a shadow of a doubt, she hit this one out of the park, hands down. Keely is the only one who has come close to knocking Ashlynn off of her top spot as my fave. Normally it annoys me when so much of the book is dedicated to others in prep for their stories to come, but I liked it this time around. And I am hoping when we get Cameo's story, that Lazarus will be her other half, I liked the two of them together.

Though I will say I was a little sad because it feels like the series is coming to an end. On one hand I do want it to but on the other I am hoping we get some of the other Lords stories, the ones we have met along the way who were not a part of the original 13.

Other than the ending I loved this story. LRJ did a superb job telling Mark and Crystal's story without deviating from the character's personalities in the previous books.

I did not care for the ending however. It seemed rushed, inconsistent, incomplete and anti-climatic. It would have been nice if the book was a little longer so that the ending could be told with more detail. I do not like it when authors write a lot of buildup and then end a storyline in a sentence or two. The handling of Ava and company was very disappointing.

Gideon calls me his angel, but he's the miracle in my life. My gorgeous, wounded warrior, so determined to slay my demons while refusing to face his own. The vows we'd exchanged should have bound us tighter than blood and flesh. Instead they opened old wounds, exposed pain and insecurities, and lured bitter enemies out of the shadows. I felt him slipping from my grasp, my greatest fears becoming my reality, my love tested in ways I wasn't sure I was strong enough to bear.

Would you consider the audio edition of Captivated by You to be better than the print version?

No, I enjoy them both. I love jumping between the audio and print versions.

What other book might you compare Captivated by You to and why?

The closest is the Breathless series by Maya Banks and of course Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James.

What about Jill Redfield and Jeremy York ’s performance did you like?

I love it when the separate genders are handled by the two separate narrators, it is more authentic and enjoyable. Especially for narrators who engage the listener in the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes there were several, and I will not go into great detail of them in order to avoid any spoiler alerts.

Any additional comments?

Well let me start off by saying I loved it. This was a long time wait and highly anticipated, and as is the norm I devoured it in one day. With that said.....

At first I was disappointed that there were still so many lingering issues with Eva, it was my understanding that the end of the series were going to concentrate on working through Gideon's issues. Though I am happy that the lingering issues was cleaned up nicely and quickly. Gideon's issues..... wow, there were so many but I must say the handling of Gid and his issues are progressing nicely and realistically.

And let me just say I am LOVING the new format of jumping between Eva and Gideon's POV, it is so refreshing to get the male's POV. And in such a way that the male does not come off too effeminate, which I have read more and more recently. It is very nice to get inside Gid's head.

Finally, when I finished my recent re-read of Bared, Reflected and Entwined I was officially joined in the "Cary is a douche" club, and sadly after this book I still am. Yeah he came off a little better, but no I am not feeling him and his narcissistic ways at all.

With all that said, this was WELL WORTH THE WAIT and I look forward to the conclusion of Eva and Gideon's story in One with You. Though I will not lie and say I really want it to end. Watching these two grow together has been a journey that I have loved.

Would you listen to Gabriel's Redemption again? Why?

Most definitely, this story is one I have enjoyed from beginning to end.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked how Julia and Gabriel worked through some insurmountable problems, and found their way through them. Though there were a few stumbles that they both could have avoided, they grew closer because of them.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes there were many moments that made me laugh and of course a few tears, I would expect no less.

Any additional comments?

A beautiful ending to a great trilogy, and I loved how the secondary character's story was addressed. Even though I would have wished for a different ending for a few of them, but overall a great job. It could have used a little less of all that Dante info, but hey that is just me.

Where does Revealing Us rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would put it somewhere in the middle.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No

Any additional comments?

Well my reaction to this book is ambivalent at the moment. Let me first start off with my disgruntlement of a book touted as being the conclusion of a trilogy and then once again it is anything but. I am really becoming frustrated with authors who tout series to be concluded in a specific book then once the reader has purchased and read the book, you find out that it is not the ending after all. I do not mind series continuing on, there are many I do not want to end, but it would be nice to know this beforehand, it would actually change the reader's expectations.

With that aside, let me get into my feelings regarding the story. While I enjoyed it, it was not what I was expecting. I am still not sure what I was expecting but this one took me out into left field. Don't get me wrong it was written very well, though there was a little too much going around the issues Cris and Sara was facing, and it was darker than I thought but it was still a good story. The things I did not care for were the way they "&*^& around their issues instead of facing them. So much more could have been accomplished if they did that.

One more thing, though this does not just relate to this book and this author. I know I am new to reading the BDSM genre, but it is very frustrating and annoying that the characters who are living and practicing this lifestyle are always so dark and broken. Where are all the strong, stable people who are living and practicing this lifestyle? I find that insulting and stereotypical. So far I have only read two authors who actually have characters who are not so broken and have found this lifestyle through pain, betrayal or degradation.

Other than all that, I enjoyed the book but I am not sure yet if I will continue with the series. It will all depend on how far the author is planning on taking this series. This is more about me than the author, I was expecting closure and a little Happily Ever After, and that is not what I got, not even close, thus my disappointment.

The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires.... From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside - so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.

Absolutely! OMG, this was a long awaited sequel and it was well worth the wait. After all the drama in Reflected in You my angst was at an all time high. I spent the majority of the book on pins and needles so afraid that Eva and Gideon were heading for some very, very dark times. I like the way this installment played out and I am once again anxiously waiting for the next installment. Following Eva and Gideon's journey is a treasure to immerse myself into. These two have me feeling so many emotions. Crossfire, I just love me some Gideon!!!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Entwined With You?

There are just too many, and I do not want to name any to avoid spoiling it for those who have not had a chance to read it, but if you have read any of the other Crossfire books, you must read Entwined with You.

Have you listened to any of Jill Redfield’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes but only in this series with this author and she does a beautiful job in the narration as well as all the inflections of all the characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, there were several, I am not ashamed to say I teared up several times in this book.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book as well as any other book of the series because it is my favorite series in the genre. Robert Jordan spun a tale that encompassed so many plotlines I needed to keep a spreadsheet to remember them all.

Who was your favorite character and why?

There are too many to name. This series had a character base of strong and loveable major and minor characters.

Which character – as performed by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading – was your favorite?

They did them all well, they are two good narrators that went very well with the series.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I wouldn't want this book or any of the books in the series to be in a film because a film would not be able to capture the story and all the nuances of the characters. Too much would be lost in the translation and it would do a disservice to the series.

Any additional comments?

Well, what can I say this book has exceeded my expectations? Throughout its many pages I have experienced many emotions including joy, anger, angst, anticipation and sorrow. It has brought together all of the books of the series and culminated into the end of a journey which I have enjoyed partaking in for the last 23 years. I have felt joy at the loss of some who I was glad to see go, sorrow over those who I was saddened to lose and bewildered over those whose absence was inconspicuously missing. I have cried, laughed and cursed Jordan’s and Sanderson’s name throughout this book. But thankfully by the time I read the last word, I was happy I started this journey. I am sorry to see it go but what else can I say but WELL DONE TEAM JORDAN, THANK YOU FOR THE RIDE!!

EDIT: I would like to add something to this. I do not understand why there are some who are giving low ratings on the book based on the fact the ebook will not be released for 3 months. While I do not understand how that should impact the review of the book, I also do not understand how soon readers, those who started reading this series in the very beginning, are forgetting the 9 month to a year delay between the release of the hardback and the paperback volumes of the book. A 3 month delay is nothing to whine over. And yes I will be one who will be purchasing the ebook as a pre-order as soon as it is available.
