This was a great listen with a lot of character build up. This was a clean listen with hints of abuse in the LF past. I didn't even know that this is a reverse harem story until I looked up the next book. I don't know why I start new books without the whole series being out...uggg! Now I have to wait. It was a little slow at first but it then picked up. Well worth the credit.

Wow this book was great. It was something out of the ordinary. Looking at the cover you would think it was one of those rinkydink second hand stories with a subpar story and narrator. Well this was not the case. No spoilers here but it was a great listen, with a great narrator. Well worth the credit!!

This was a well written shifter romance. I really enjoyed how the writer developed the characters throughout the story. The plot is very interesting with a few smexy scenes that wasn't too detailed. This book continues right into the second book. They are all on audible right now so no need to wait. The Narrators are pretty good as well. Worth the credit.

Audible doesn't have the books in series order yet so they are;
Moonlight
Hunters Moon
Blood Moon
Harvest Moon
Ice Moon
Blue Moon
Wolf Moon
New Moon

Painfully shy Jane Huxley is the furthest thing from a diamond of the first water. Bookish, bespectacled, and, well, plain, she never expected to befriend a dissolute charmer like Colin Lacey, much less agree to help him retrieve a lost family heirloom. Fortunately, he is nothing like his cold, rigid older brother. Unfortunately, he is not above deception if it means winning a wager. And that puts Jane in a most precarious position. For Harrison Lacey, the Duke of Blackmore, protecting his family honor is not a choice, it is a necessity.

I only wish the rest of the series was on Audible so I could get the next one. Oh well...I guess we all need something to look forward too. Please do not take too long. Life for Victoria Lacey should be perfect. And it is - perfectly boring. Agree to marry a lord who has yet to inspire a single, solitary tingle? Why, of course. Smile as though this is not the thousandth time he's mentioned hounds and hunting? It's all in a day's work for the oh-so-proper sister of the Duke of Blackmore. Surely no one would suspect her secret longing for heart-racing, head-spinning passion. Except, perhaps, a dark stranger...on a terrace...at a ball where she should definitely not be kissing a man she has only just met.

Lady Lily Jameson is thrilled to attend a house party given by Daniel Farnsworth, the Duke of Lybrook, but not because he's the most eligible bachelor in the peerage. Her only interest is his famous art collection, which reputedly includes a painting by her favorite artist, Jan Vermeer. Daniel, duke only by virtue of the untimely deaths of his father and older brother, wants nothing to do with his new duties. He'd rather continue his rakish ways.

I read the other reviews on this listen.... but after I listened to the sample I decided to go ahead. I glad I did it was a decent HR. The only thing is that it had a LOT of sex for the 1800's.(well it is called Sex and the season) The story took place at a 2 week house party and the young ladies didn't have any chaperones. As far as the narration I have listened to plenty of HR so it was fine to me. I have listened to wayyyy worse. The Herione got on my nerves sometimes but other than that it was good.
