For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.
This is a great book with a lot of awesome Jewels to think about and live by.

Disaya finally has it all. The man she fought for is hers at last. Her name is Mrs. Indie Perkins, and their daughter is safe. Leah is gone. Life is supposed to be good. So why isn't she satisfied? Why does life suddenly seem so bitter? YaYa's Prada Plan had worked, but with the riches comes pain. She and Indie have grown apart, and with Parker now a permanent fixture in their lives, Indie is pressured to juggle it all. But YaYa's patience is running thin. Indie is loving her wrong. Her life isn't what she wants.
Sometimes a series can just speak too long. This is some it was good I will admit that I was extremely mad and most of this book with Indie and Yaya. Like I NEED Ethic to win! I hope if this was not final installment that next one is.
After the tragic and bloody end to The Cartel's reign, Carter is forced into isolation to evade the law. With his wife, Miamor, facing federal charges and his dear brother six feet under, Carter has never been more alone. His empire is at his feet, and he has no idea how to rebuild his kingdom. The only thing that is certain is that he has to stay out of the way and off the radar of the feds until he can figure out how to get his lady out of prison.
Sometimes a Series can go on for too long. I hope the next installment is about the children or something. it just amazes me that the series is still going on.
Tahari Monroe is in a loveless, sexless, and abusive relationship with her boyfriend Nico of four years. The love they once shared has been replaced with his love for another woman and the feeling of his fists. Tahari sees no way out until she meets Ka'Jaire "Thug" Kenneth. He is every woman's dream come true and every nigga's worst nightmare. The relationship between them develops instantaneously.
I really hope you decide to put the rest of them on Audible. I've already read the series and I loved it so getting the hear the emotion behind the narrator was great.
Torn between steamy, passionate nights between the sheets and the truths she doesn't want to face, Margo Harris unravels mysteries from her past as she forms ties with a dangerous group of people. Determined to rebuild the fragments of her previous life, she clings to the sexy and magnetic Salvatore Mazzillo for comfort he can't truly provide, finding herself deeper and deeper in a world she can't escape. A breathtakingly sensual and suspenseful ride that will have you questioning what real love means.
Definitely not one of my favorites to say the very least on the book. Meh
In a hood loaded with sex, brutality, and crime, three friends are at a turning point. They can surrender to the streets - and the murderous men who rule there - or walk a totally different path. But nothing is simple for women addicted to life on the edge. And everything has consequences.... Angel, Jaz, and Kyra are all leading double lives, torn between working hard to leave the ghetto behind and being dragged back in by the lying, pimping, drug-dealing men they can't seem to let go.
This is a great start to a series! All of the characters thus far are intriguing.
All hell has broken loose, and the McPhearson clan is right in the middle of the chaos. After finding out their beloved foster mother, Claudette McPhearson, was anything but the sweet old woman they thought her to be, Javon, Shanelle, and the rest of their siblings hit the ground running in order to keep the Syndicate operating and to keep themselves alive. That also means they have to lose some of the people they love the most.
I absolutely love everything you write. This was a great series with a lot more growth.

Corruption and jealousy seep into the core of the organization, causing formed alliances to shatter and trust and love to waiver. Only time will tell if the search for truth will uncover more deception than either of them can handle. With all of the demons that surface and threaten to destroy their undying love, will KoKo and Kayson be able to remove the boundaries growing between them, or will the secrets revealed ultimately put them on opposite sides of each other's unforgiving trigger?
This was one of the BEST series I have heard since Thug Series by Wahida Clark....omg!
Fear, grief, and pain.... the perfect mixture for the deadly cocktail that drives KoKo head first into danger as she tries to hold onto her throne. Betrayal, distrust, and a struggle for power almost destroys all that she has built. Kayson is back on the scene and refuses to bow to anyone. The power is up for grabs and there are many hands in the pot. There's a boss that will live to the end, but who will succumb to The Pussy Trap's Death by Temptation?
It just gets better and better I swear. The betrayal and deceit is at a all time high.
KoKo is back with a thirst for revenge. Treachery looms thick in her midst as she plants the brutal Kiss of Death on whoever is in her way. The plot thickens while KoKo is on her quest to find everyone involved in Kayson's murder. A guilty confession. Past family secrets that set a chain of events into play may cause her whole world to come crumbling down. Will KoKo maintain the empire that Kayson left behind or will the secrets and deception ultimately destroy her?
This is by far one of the best series I have listen to! I don't know how I went this long without knowing about this.
