too much information, explaining history, not enough depth and only hints of romance. i found it boring and even the fight/action scenes the narrator was reading it monotoned like a legal document. usually I don't give bad reviews but i had higher hopes for this book than was given.

The narrator's audible swallows were distracting, One of the worst books I've ever listened too. almost didn't finish the book. Also a lot of fluff and character building could have been edited. it felt like this dragged on and on. and at times KA made Vi to be so clueless it annoying. also I've noticed when the female says no or stop, the guy still continues without listening to her refusal. that shouldn't be. it feeds into the lifelong message that no does not mean no. hopefully this will be adjusted in her other books and series.

*spoilers* there were many things I did not like about this. 1. Jonas at one point expressing his angry and hurt feelings and all Sarah could think of was how hot he was and how she was turned by it. 2 she sets up a bdsm scene in the bedroom to tie him up knowing his devastation about his mom and this also triggers other bad memories we learn about. I think the author is cruel to the character by doing this. also the constant dance around what actions to take and what happens next for the club issue, and just when he's about to get an email addresses she storms in and blows the whole thing. then to find out she has been listening the whole time why couldn't she wait one more minute to he had the info. also why did his brother got all the way in to help but was no more than a sounding board. he was pretty useless. a lot of this was over the top fluff that could have been cut. just cut to the chase and get to the meat of it. really didn't like this one.

Where does Fish & Chips rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'm still listening to this one but had to write a comment even before i finished

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Ty and Zane characters. The author did a great job of building their characters well

How could the performance have been better?

The voice of their boss was horrible and hard to listen to. I got used to the voice of Ty in the first 2 books, this one, I'm not so fond of. Wish it could have been the same narrator
