Alyssa Jackson is one of the lucky ones. She has a thriving business, great friends, a devoted husband, an adorable daughter, and a scorching hot sex life that would be the envy of any married couple. Then, one tragic loss flips her world upside down. Floundering and unsure of how to cope with their grief, Alyssa and her husband drift apart until they are living as roommates instead of a deeply connected couple. Alyssa will do anything to get the intense passion back into her life and marriage, no matter how far out of the box she has to step.

This was an AMAZING read. I love it when I stumble upon a new to me author and not only does the book have a great story line that really pulls me in but it makes me want to read more by the author. In Escapades not only did I get my first introduction to Lilly Atlas but I also was given an introduction to a new type of audiobook. I have listened to books before where they were done with dual POVs but this one was done differently, not only was the chapters done in the different POVs but if the male or female POV was speaking in a chapter that wasn't being narrated by them they spoke! It wasn't the man changing his voice to sound more feminine - nope it was her that spoke, almost as if you were listening to a movie instead of watching it. I have to say I really enjoyed that aspect as well. Noah and Erin were great, I really enjoyed listening to them, they had so much emotion in the way they spoke to one another you felt as if they were actually going through everything Derek and Alyssa had went through.

The story of Derek and Alyssa totally BROKE MY HEART into a MILLION PIECES!!!!! But thankfully it was fully together again by the end of the book. This story is one of great tragedy but somehow they survived it all and hopefully they will be a stronger couple because of what they shared together. I am not going to give anything away but I suggest you have a HUGE box of tissues close by because you will need them. I shouldn't let the saddness overshadow the sexiness of the book because HOLY COW was this book HOT!! I am talking off the charts hot, melt your kindles hot!!!!!

If you love a good emotional story about a married couple trying to find their way back to one another after heartbreak then I highly recommend this book to you. Happy Reading!

I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Lilly Atlas. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

I read this book a few months ago when it was released as an eBook and really enjoyed it so when I was given the opportunity to get an advanced copy of the audiobook I jumped on it. Not only did I enjoy the narrator (Paul Woodson) but listening to the book come alive lead to me to taking my four star review and making it five! Being able to listen to the book added a new dimension to the story which I absolutely loved.

While Driving Whiskey Wild is the third book in The Whiskeys Series it can be read as a standalone which is exactly how I read it. Did I feel lost at all because I hadn't read the previous books? Not at all. This is one of the things I like most about Melissa Fosters books, you can read any of them in any order and never feel lost, but honestly her books are so enjoyable you'll want to read them all.

Bullet and Finlay have this opposites attract, bad boy / good girl, chemistry that was so hot I wondered if my kindle would melt. My heart broke for this tough, motorcycle club leather wearing, badass biker. He went through so much in his life always the protector of others even when it took the ultimate toll on him leaving him with a sever case of PTSD after being medically discharged from the military. Tinkerbell, Bullet's rottweiler, seemed to be the only thing that helped him with his flashbacks, well that was until Finlay came into his life.

I love this cute little chef, Finlay was dedicated to starting up her own catering business but I'm pretty sure she didn't expect the changes that would come to her life when she agrees to help Dixie with the expansion of Whiskeys Bro's. I enjoyed watching Finlay overcome some of her fears with the guidance of Bullet, this big strong man had a tender heart and an even more tender hand when it came to Finlay, something neither of them were use to.

This was a sweet and sexy read that had me tearing up a few times so you may want to keep tissues handy just in case.

Cher and Merry!!!!! I am so glad these two get their HEAs that didn't include Merry getting back with Mia, that woman is horrible!

So much happening in this story that there were times I thought the universe was against Cher getting her HEA with the man she has loved for years.

The Epilogue was AMAZING! This being the last book in the series KA gives us a peek into the future of each of the couples and their children. Yes this book had me tearing up at times but I truly broke down when Ethan spoke at his own wedding during the epilogue about how a man is suppose to treat the woman he loves....man oh man, Merry was an awesome Role Model for that boy.

As with any of Kristen Ashley's books we have a Hot Alpha Male and a very strong woman.

I loved the chemistry between Hix and Greta and I have to say that I really liked that KA didn't have Hix's kids instantly love her. Its hard on children when their parents start to date someone other than their mom/dad and I loved the realistic portrayal of the kids coming to terms with everything and accepting Greta into their lives. A couple of the kids were easily won over but one held onto the lies that she was being fed by her mother.

I listened to the audio book and occasionally switched to the kindle e-book, I enjoyed both the female and male narratives it definitely added another dimension to the book.

Where do I start off?????
First I have to say that I loved Bridgette and Louie, Bridgette's son, in The Real Thing, you can see my review for that book HERE. Bridgette is raising her son Louie on her own since her husbands death about five years ago. Yes she does have the love and support of her family around her but Bridgette tries her best to do everything she can for him and not rely to much on others. Secondly I need to mention Bridgette's mother Roxy, now that woman is a HOOT! Just remember Mom knows best, and Mom knows and sees ALL!!!

Bodhi....now there's a hottie, he's not smooth and silky like Zane is in The Real Thing, but he did melt my heart every time he though about or asked about Louie. Its rough for a single parent to find love again because they need to make sure it's the best situation for their child, not only did Bodhi fit the mold for a perfect male influence on Louie but he truly cared about the kid which was wonderful to see.

Bodhi was very much into the Here and Now when it came to relationships....well actually he didn't do relationships because he never wanted to leave behind someone if he was killed on a mission, but since he wanted to explore things with his sexy neighbor he only promised her Here and Now and made sure Bridgette understood there was no future for them when he returned to the city after completing the renovations on the home he purchased for his mother.

Although I received an Advanced Readers Copy of Only for You I did purchase the e-book through Amazon along with the Audible version as well and I have to say I am so very glad I did. The narrator of the book John Lane has a sexy tone to his voice that I loved, if you enjoy audio books I would recommend you purchasing this one I do not think you will be disappointed at all.

Let me make a mention about the narrator of Live Wire, Jeffrey Kafer, since I did listen to the audiobook version, he has a very sexy voice and I could listen to him all day long....seriously Yummy!

One year ago, I graduated from law school and embarked on a career as a purveyor of high-priced legal shenanigans. Six months ago, my boyfriend dumped me when I thought he might be proposing. Two weeks ago, I got drunk and joined a secret sex club. Two days ago, I had a torrid one-night stand with a stranger. Today? Well, today I'm contemplating having an affair with my boss. Matt Connover is all kinds of forbidden temptation wrapped up in a deliciously wicked package.

What a great box set, if you enjoy books by Sawyer Bennett this is a must read. Matt and Mac are both strong characters. They were matched to have a one-night stand through a secret sex club that Macy, Mac's BFF and roommate, convince's her to try. Little did either of them know that come Monday morning Matt would be Mac's new boss. To say that their first work meeting is a little uncomfortable would be an understatement but they both quickly get over it and make the most of what they both want. Each of the volumes are quick reads and very, very HOT. I have to say that they seem to break-up every other week but there was a good reason for it....Matt is scared to be hurt again. You see his ex-wife did some number on him and it has left a bitter taste in his mouth when it comes to women, so he only does one-night stands...well that is until he met McKayla. I really liked the fact that this wasn't insta-love, both characters took their time to get to where they needed to be to make their relationship work out.

Heartbroken and wounded, she now devotes her life to a business catering to the depraved elite. Then Mr. Henry Warren walks into her world, offering her an escape from the pain that haunts the scars on her body. After Monica is rescued from her abusive Dom by Ethan, she is not interested in anything other than getting her Chateau up and running and keeping her girls happy and safe. Henry meets Monica through one of the Patrons of her Chateau and he is very persistent in what he wants and luckily gets it after several attempts. Although Monica doesn't trust anyone she warms up to Henry after meeting him a few times. They have great chemistry and Monica needs a Dom that is going to put her on a pedestal and worship her after all of the abuse she has suffered. This was a great trilogy.
