For someone who made a career out of oversharing on the Internet, Tyler Oakley has a shocking number of personal mishaps and shenanigans to reveal in his first book: He experienced a legitimate rage blackout in a Cheesecake Factory; he had a fashion stand-off with the White House Secret Service; he crashed a car in front of his entire high school in an Arby's uniform; he projectile vomited while bartering with a grandmother.
I've been a Tyler Oakley fan for a long time, following him on social media and YouTube, I've seen his growth not only as a creator but as a person. On Binge, he goes above and beyond to show us more of his personal side but still being super funny and engaging. Would totally recommend this to any person who wants to have a laugh and delve deeper into the person behind the screen. Audible 20 Review Sweepstakes Entry.
Demi Lovato wakes up each morning and affirms her commitment to herself - to her health, her happiness, her being. Those commitments are the bedrock of her recovery and her work helping other young people dealing with the issues she lives with every single day. Demi is a platinum-selling recording artist whose latest album - DEMI - is already a smash hit.
Demi's Staying Strong is a perfect example of a book that inspires you to keep going every day. Every chapter or "day" never feels like it's repeating itself. The only thing I would've liked was more of Demi. I'm sure she's a very busy person, but it would've been that much special if she was the narrator all throughout. All in all, this book would give anyone a nudge to get up and face the world, and surprisingly, there are a few tips here and there to better your day-to-day life.
Call Me by Your Name first swept across the world in 2007. It is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents' cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. During the restless summer weeks, unrelenting but buried currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion as they test the charged ground between them and verge toward the one thing both already fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy.
André Aciman has written a masterpiece in Call Me By Your Name. The ease of voice and the effortless flow of words through Elio’s point of view is exquisite. The exploration and journey of finding yourself and of sexual awakening, together with a sort of lust, makes this story even more relatable as we’ve all had unattainable crushes we wish would become something more. Now onto Armie Hammer’s magnificent performance. He nails the narration in CMBY and really encamptures the listener’s attention all throughout the story. Armie has a sort of non-chalantness to his voice that almost feels like he was born to read this story. All in all, with the masterful writing of Aciman and the beautiful narration by Hammer, this book deserves all of the praise and more.

From YouTube star vlogger Connor Franta comes an audiobook that grows out of his massive social media outreach - filled with annotated postcards, notes, texts, tweets, journal entries, emails, and letters that chart his coming of age.
A Work in Progress delves into the personal and creative side of Connor Franta's life. It's amazing to see the evolution of Connor's life from his hometown to being one of the biggest creators on YouTube. This is a great addition to having the paperback book, as you are able to also see the photos and the other important information that cannot be appreciated through an audiobook. It is well narrated and very insightful!
