Don't call it a comeback....Because no one else is. Poised to live up to his legacy, tennis player Bryce Coulter loses it all on one swing. Now, with the pressure on and his future in jeopardy, the last thing he needs is a smart-mouthed training partner with attitude and a killer swing - or maybe she's exactly what he needs. Rich, spoiled, and moneyed - seen that, been dragged through the dirt behind that. Tami Ivey, gets enough of the bad boy trust fund kids at work. She doesn't need it in her sanctuary too.
Nana Malone is my absolute favorite author and I have been anxiously waiting for this series to be released in audio version -- and this did not disappoint -- Ms. Malone does such an amazing job with contemporary sports romances that I know I'm in for a treat when she writes in that genre. Tami and Bryce feel an instant attraction for each other but they each have their own reasons why a relationship between them would not work out. But Tami makes Bryce feel alive so he continues to pursue her much to his Grandfather's dismay. There's always trouble when family brings drama. Tennis brings Bryce and Tami together but will it be enough to keep them together. I love this first book in the series and can't wait to listen to Dax.
Perfect narrators -- Traci and Sebastian complement each other's style well. They made this a very enjoyable listen. While I prefer the duet style narration, these two did such a wonderful job, I gave them all the stars.
Absolutely worth the credit. I'm off to listen to the next book in the series.

Annalia Del Valle has loved Preston Sawyer all her life. The daughter of an impoverished migrant farmworker, she grew up as an outcast in what was no more than a tiny, cooped-up shack in California's Central Valley. But her heart found freedom in the land, in the wide-open spaces of Sawyer Farm, and in the boys who were her only friends. Preston has yearned for Annalia since he was a boy. But a sense of honor kept him from pursuing her until he's unable to hold back any longer and their worlds - and bodies - collide one hot summer night.
I love that Mia Sheridan's characters are flawed people not necessarily good or bad, jut people who make mistakes. Well actually, there was at least one bad person, Alicia. This is a very touching story of two brothers who love a girl but in different ways since they were children but how the love manifests has repercussions that affect all of their lives. Mia and Preston have a lot to overcome to have the relationship they've wanted since childhood. The one theme throughout the story is that love, understanding and forgiveness can heal many broken relationships -- and there were plenty of broken relationships to deal with in the book.
Amazing narration -- I couldn't stop listening until the end.
Absolutely worth a credit and maybe a cry too.

A new dark romance from New York Times best-seller Anna Zaires. He came to me in the night, a cruel, darkly handsome stranger from the most dangerous corners of Russia. He tormented me and destroyed me, ripping apart my world in his quest for vengeance. Now he's back, but he's no longer after my secrets. The man who stars in my nightmares wants me.
This is my first Anna Zaires book and I'm now searching her catalogue because I'm hoping this is the first of many. Both Sarah and Peter were dealing with a lot pain and anguish and they were both just trying to come out on the other side. Peter had a darkness driving him and Sarah was searching for the light -- match made in heaven right? Their shared connections should have made them coupling a no go from the start but some people don't accept no for an answer. Although the story continues, it doesn't leave with a cliffhanger that keeps you awake at night wondering what happens next. It's the kind of cliffhanger that leaves you curious and intrigued about how this story will end.
The narration was really good. I liked that Sebastian York actually tried with an accent, albeit a slight Russian accent (which is what the story called for) that seemed to appear and disappear at will. I loved listening to this story so much that I give the performance 5 stars even if it was flawed.
Absolutely worth a credit plus more. Anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.

From best-selling author Kylie Scott comes the second book in her Dive Bar series! When his younger brother loses interest in online dating, hot, bearded bartender extraordinaire Joe Collins intends only to log in to his account and shut it down. Until he reads about her.
Twist was so worth the year long wait. It was really great catching up with the Dive Bar crew. I love the catfish moment at the beginning of the book -- it was like a train wreck, you saw it coming but you just couldn't look away. Alex and Joe have some trust issues to deal with before they can get back to the ease they shared as internet friends. The story was made more intriguing by giving us their internet history in doses with intermittent flashbacks. This story wrapped me up and held me tight until the very end. And just for shits and giggles, Mal, Jimmy and Killer from the Stage Dive series make an appearance. Kylie Scott for President of the world, or at least the my audio world this week.
Andi Arndt does another amazing job! She just grabs your attention and never lets it go.
Most definitely worth the credit and multiple listens.

Her life is in New York. The property she's inherited is in Bridgewater, Montana. Going back to the town she visited every summer as a child stirs up long-forgotten memories and a girlhood crush on not one teen-turned-hot-cowboy but two: cousins Jack and Sam Kane. Fortunately for her, in Bridgewater one cowboy's never enough.
Bridgewater certainly breeds a different kind man -- where can I find me two of them? I really liked the Bridgewater Bride series and this the modern day continuation of that. Get ready for some hot wild monkey sex, menage style. Katherine has to decide if she wants to return to her ambitions and stressful fast paced life in New York City or remain in Montana to find the happiness she had as a child. Sam and Jack are trying to make that decision really easy for her -- hence the hot wild monkey sex.
Kylie Stewart is good narrator but she struggles with masculine sounding male voices. I really wanted Sam and Jack to have some bass in their voices.
I bought this book at a really good price and it was absolutely worth it.

When I met Donovan Kincaid, I knew he was rich. I didn't know he was filthy. Truth be told, I was only trying to get his best friend to notice me. I knew poor scholarship girls like me didn't stand a chance against guys like Weston King and Donovan Kincaid, but I was in love with his world, their world, of parties and sex and power. I knew what I wanted - I knew who I wanted - until one night, their world tried to bite me back and Donovan saved me. He saved me, and then Weston finally noticed me, and I finally learned what it was to be in their world.
I got whiplash trying to keep up with Sabrina's emotions in this one. I really like Laurelin's stories but I get so frustrated because every book doesn't have to be a three part series. If I had known this was a Part 1, I probably would have skipped it, at least for now. Although, had I skipped it, I would have missed a really good story, even if it had a bit too much introspection by Sabrina. But I guess when you're dealing with obsession, which is a topic Ms. Paige often writes about, introspection is a great way to expose it. It seems as if Donovan is a master manipulator and plays some serious head games with Sabrina. One thing glossed over in this story is that she was under age when their relationship started, so Donovan was a bit of a predator. The relationship/nonrelationship between Donovan and Sabrina is worthy of a solid head shake. But yet still, I couldn't stop listening -- so maybe I'm the one with the obsession. Warning: There are some dark parts to this book, including an attempted rape and rape fantasies. Overall a very good listen.
Elena Wolfe is just an amazing narrator no matter what name she uses. She puts in a solid performance that can make any book worth listening too.
Definitely worth the credit. I am anxiously awaiting the next installment.

Every Hungarian grandma knows that words have power. Nana Salo never meant the words she said in anger to become a family curse, but that's just what happened. Her granddaughter Vancy is just the newest victim. Vancy's fiance has left her at the altar, and now the press is after a hot grandma-curses-granddaughter's-wedding story.
This is one of those feel good short romances that is great for an afternoon pick me up. Definitely a fun read but with absolutely no sex. This is my first romance book with a bit of Hungarian culture and I really liked how it played into the story.
Carly did a good job narrating. This was an enjoyable listen.
This was worth the price I paid.

When I saw my escape, I took it. Now I'm in New York City and trying to get my life back on track. Despite the tracker in my ankle, Crow hasn't come for me. He hasn't even called me. I told him the depth of my feelings but he cruelly rejected them. Maybe he's forgotten about me. One day, I walk into my apartment and spot the pile of buttons on the counter. I never left them there, and there's only one explanation for their presence. Maybe Crow hasn't forgotten me after all.
I can hear Button singing, "I get knocked down, but I get up again, nothing's ever gonna keep me down." This chick doesn't know the meaning of stay down. I'm obsessed with Button/Pearl too, she's beautiful, smart and tough as they come with a kind and forgiving heart. I love that this heroine did not wait for a white knight to rescue her, she was constantly planning how to save herself. But a hot guy, even if he is bad guy is just what this girl needed. This book is the perfect way to end an amazing series. There are definitely some dark and painful moments to listen to but they added to intensity of the overall story. I love that Button didn't see herself as a victim and Crow never treated her as such. If I had to have one sentence that describes the essence of this series, "Love conquers all."
The narrators were really good but since the majority of the book took place in Italy, shouldn't someone have an Italian accent. I'm not sure what kind of accent Bones had. A duet style narration would have done wonders for this story.
Absolutely worth every cent/credit I paid. I will probably listen to this series again, and maybe again again.

Struggling actress Lauren Kinkade discovers her true passion is her day job - catering. When her grandmother dies and leaves the family bakery to her, Lauren sees an opportunity to start fresh in her small hometown in Alaska. But the town isn't exactly welcoming to the girl who went to chase dreams and left her grandmother to run the family business alone. Lauren decides the best way to get her new business rolling is to get hired by golden boy Trey Briggs for his hotel's grand re-opening.
This story was short and sweet with the sex scenes omitted. This was a good enough story but I don't like when the couple gets hot and heavy and then it's over without any details. I listened to another book by this author where the sex scenes were not omitted so I know she has it in her to write them.
Raine was okay as the narrator but the male voice was too feminine.
I would have returned it if I hadn't listened to the end.

For werebear Silas Vane, finding his True Mate has proven more difficult than he imagined and he's getting grouchier by the minute waiting for her to come along. When a nosy, new hire starts asking questions about why he wants to marry so badly - he tells her - so he can have sex every day!
This is a cute and short paranormal romance with some heat. Lexi got under Silas's skin right from the start and she found it difficult to resist her immediate attraction to him. Lexi convinced Silas to start a physical relationship with her in hopes that he would fall for her. Silas agrees to the physical relationship with Lexi until he finds his mate. Well, things don't always go as planned. This is a very promising start to a new series, can't wait for the next book.
Teri is ok as the narrator but her male voices are just not masculine or deep enough for a big, burly werebear.
Definitely worth the price.
