In the house of Helios, god of the sun and mightiest of the Titans, a daughter is born. But Circe is a strange child - not powerful, like her father, nor viciously alluring, like her mother. Turning to the world of mortals for companionship, she discovers that she does possess power - the power of witchcraft, which can transform rivals into monsters and menace the gods themselves.
The reviews on this audiobook are right This is an excellent audiobook. THE narator is superior and the story is superb. I highly recommend this audiobook.
When Casey first arrived at the off-the-grid town, an isolated community built as a haven for people running from their pasts, she had no idea what to expect, with no cell phones, no internet, no mail, and no way of getting in or out without the town council's approval. She certainly didn't expect to be the homicide detective on two separate cases or to begin a romantic relationship with her boss. But the very last thing she expected was for the council to drop a dangerous criminal into their midst without a plan to keep him imprisoned, and to keep others safe.
I highly recommend this audiobook. Talented narrator, great story, and great characters. Read the series from to begging to understand all going on.
When best-selling horror author Sam McGarver is invited to spend Halloween night in one of the country's most infamous haunted houses, he reluctantly agrees. At least he won't be alone; joining him are three other masters of the macabre, writers who have helped shape modern horror. But what begins as a simple publicity stunt will become a fight for survival. The entity they have awakened will follow them, torment them, threatening to make them a part of the bloody legacy of Kill Creek.
This is a rambling audiobook with narrator who uses the same voice for different characters and speed jumps between paragraphs so fast it makes this audiobook hard to follow and personally gave me a headache. I quit at chapter 15.
At 27, magician Natalie Webb is already a has-been. Shunned by the magic world after a disastrous liaison with an older magician, she now lives alone with her pigeons and a pile of overdue bills in a New Jersey apartment. In a desperate ploy to make extra cash, she follows up on an old offer to write a feature magazine article - on the art of cheating at cards. In the process, Natalie is dazzled by a poker cheat's sleight of hand and soon finds herself facing a proposition - to help pull off a $1.5 million magic trick that, if done successfully, no one will ever even suspect happened.
So many twists and turns with characters great and small but in the end Natalie is the smartest of them all. I highly recommend this audiobook.

As a cassandra sangue, or blood prophet, Meg Corbyn can see the future when her skin is cut - a gift that feels more like a curse. Meg's Controller keeps her enslaved so he can have full access to her visions. But when she escapes, the only safe place Meg can hide is at the Lakeside Courtyard - a business district operated by the Others. Shape-shifter Simon Wolfgard is reluctant to hire the stranger who inquires about the Human Liaison job.
Since the March 2018 app update all my audiobooks keep pausing the sound every minute or more and this happens over and over. Have done reinstall every night but nothing helps.

Vampire trafficking is a sinister business, and nobody knows that better than Keystone. After Raven discovers hidden clues in a cold case, the group sets a trap in hopes of catching an elusive criminal. But when the plan backfires, Raven's world is thrown into chaos, and Christian's loyalty is put to the ultimate test. Buried secrets come to light, and the only thing keeping Raven grounded is her insatiable thirst for vengeance. The stakes are high as they travel to a place where the landscapes are as treacherous as the immortals who live there. This time, there's no room for mistakes.
The story holds true to the series but the audio keeps cutting off and the only way to listen is to increase the speed of the reading. I recommend this audiobook but hope they fix the app.
It was a hell of a long shot.... CIA assassin Fortune Redding is about to undertake her most difficult mission ever - in Sinful, Louisiana. With a leak at the CIA and a price placed on her head by one of the world's largest arms dealers, Fortune has to go off-grid, but she never expected to be this far out of her element.
I love the narrator and the story but for a former hit woman, Fortune seems kind of dumb and easily duped but 2 of the ladies in town. I enjoyed the audiobook and recommended it as a start to the series.
Zoë Merrick lived an ordinary life until late one night, she was brutally attacked and left for dead. She survived, saved by a stranger who witnessed her undergo a physical transformation. That's not the only thing that's different. Zoë is unable to control an unexplainable energy coursing through her body. Justus De Gradi is a man who can teach her that control. He's handsome, arrogant, and not entirely human. He reveals that she is a Mage - an immortal made of light, not magic. She must now make a choice: Rebuild her life in the human world with the man who saved her, or live with Justus and learn how to use her extraordinary gifts. Justus has sworn an oath to protect her life, but can he guard her from the one man who has a right to claim it?
Very disappointed that a good audiobook has such a bad narrator. Her voice is normal one minute then so soft a whisper that I am constantly having to adjust the sound level.

For Raven Black, hunting criminals is second nature. So is denial. It's not easy moving forward with one foot stuck in the past. But a new case offers her a much-needed distraction when Keystone accepts their toughest assignment yet - to track down an elusive criminal who's selling children on the black market. Their investigation leads them deep into the underbelly of the Breed world, a place both treacherous and enticing. With no room for mistakes, Raven makes a tough decision to lock the door to her past before it interferes with her job.
I hope there will be another audiobook because I really like this series. In this installment more characters are explored. I recommend this audiobook.
Two weeks after joining Keystone, Raven Black is ready to take on the world as a criminal hunter for hire. If only her partner wasn't a bloodsucking Vampire with a penchant for getting under her skin. Despite her lavish surroundings, Raven misses the freedom of life without rules. And Keystone's next assignment is about to test her self-control in more ways than one. Dead bodies are popping up in the human district, and all signs point to a Breed serial killer.
I am in love with this series. Great narrator, good story and very dynamic characters. I highly recommend this audiobook.
