Would you consider the audio edition of Island of Glass to be better than the print version?

Loved this series. I'm a huge Nora fan and she didn't disappoint. It's such a let down when I finish because I always want more and want to know what happens next. I'll re-listen to them again and again.

What did you like best about this story?

Very well written. She really knows how to develop a story and keep you engaged without getting bored.

What about Saskia Maarleveld’s performance did you like?

I've recently listened to another series by another author and all 7 of the narrations were terrible. Saskia knows how to make each character different and has a pleasing voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES and I almost did. I finished it in 1 1/2 days.

What would have made Everyday, Average Jones better?

It took way too long for the story to develop. I almost didn't finish it. I thought Melody was way too bull headed which I know was the point, however, it was dragged out too long.

What could Suzanne Brockmann have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

make it shorter.

What three words best describe Maia Guest’s voice?

boring

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

disappointment

Any additional comments?

I loved Frisco's Kid and Prince Joe this one fell short. Not sure if I will chance listening to any of the others.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The story was too short. the story unfolded too quickly I think.

What was most disappointing about J. D. Robb’s story?

This was not one of her best. I've read and listened to all of her books and this one just falls a little short. Maybe the story was too fast. I'll still continue to buy her books!

Would you listen to Blood Brothers again? Why?

Not a fan of the narrator. Don't like his "voices" at all. Nora Roberts is wonderful and I love the story. I'll just read it next time around. Can't get past his reading. Fox sounds like a dork, Layla sounds like a NY Jewish girl, Gage sounds like Egor from Winnie the Pooh. Had a hard time listening.

What other book might you compare Blood Brothers to and why?

I'll get the other 2 in the series as well since they're different people reading.

How could the performance have been better?

Different narrator

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes always
