Although not penned as a sequel to The Devil’s Heiress, Dragon’s Bride introduces Con Somerford, Earl of Wyvern. Somerford inherits an earldom on the coast of England, which he has not visited for over a decade. Years of war and estrangement with his father have left him hard and alone and completely undesiring of the title or lands he now holds.

This book is definitely my cup of tea. I did not expect the events throughout or before the end of the book and the tension in the love kept my interest high. I also have read so many romance books that now I fast forward through the sex scenes but not here. It was done well and I am sorry to see it end. I highly recommend this book

Spoiled and ungoverned, Fitz was not suitable companion for a lady of fashion....And certainly no proper chaperon. Fitz begged to disagree - after all, a dog was a true incomparable as far as friendship, loyalty, and protection - and soon lovely Miss Sonia was plucked by her rusticated roots and packed off, dog and all, to London. Perhaps there she would find a husband to tame her free-spirited ways - and keep her out of trouble.

Story was not one that drew me to my phone at every waking moment as some others have in the past. No mystery and both were willing parties and submitting to the love. I need mysteries in my books that draw me in. Not knowing how the story would turn or one resisting the love etc. something to keep it interesting or the fizz disappears.

Story had promise but after the first 10 minutes the rest is gratuitous sex and, mediocre at that, as well as ridiculous expectations from the heroine to want love after being deflowered in the first 30 min of the story and holding out on saying yes to marriage to the hero while the entire beginning of the book she was chasing him endlessly. Nonsense storyline and ridiculous to the time it is written. As hard as I tried I can not go through the rest of the book. Even Simon Prebble could not save this book.

Crippled by her timidity, she hardly looked at him when they'd met during her first London season. But he had spoken to her father, determined to ask her for her hand. Her siblings, Serena and Benedict, find this highly amusing, but after Honoria overhears a conversation between her parents about their finances, she realises she must marry Mr. Allison.
