Ok. I found the last 2.5 hours interesting. The first part of the book has so many descriptive sex scenes that the story line was overwhelmed. The plot has some interesting twist and ask some interesting questions of the reader. Deals with consequences and responsibility and some other issues, but mostly in the last couple of hours of the book. This book could have been a five if the writer had really fleshed out the characters from the beginning. Not sure I will read the next book in the series. The issues were what made the read!

Zoe Brown may have been voted Most Likely to Never Leave River Bend, but the paper-thin walls and suffocating air of her family's double-wide trailer were not what she wanted for her life. She didn't just leave, she escaped - turning her back on the shame of her black-sheep siblings and imprisoned dad. Now a celebrity chef in Dallas, she can afford all the things she never could have growing up.

A bit predictable. I have to wonder why Zoe drinks since her father is an alcoholic. I hear her using it as a crutch. The reader clips words and I find that difficult to listen to. However, I do not regret the purchase.

Would you listen to Savannah Blues again? Why?

This is my second time through. I read the book myself first. I caught a lot of little things the second time. Lots of fun interactions.

What did you like best about this story?

I like the interweaving of the charactor's lives and how they sometimes seemed like rabbit hole yet in the end they come together in surprising ways.

What does Susan Ericksen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

voice in more authentic accents.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Sometime I felt fear and anxiety, and some parts are just down right funny women stuff.

Any additional comments?

Fun read and did not have any trouble with the reader. I thank God for Audible books as my eyes wear out.
