What should have been a routine survey mission became a disaster. To the Harakens' surprise, they discovered, not one but two alien species, which were constantly engaged in conflict. One species, the Dischnya, hid their nests underground, and each nest owed its allegiance to a queen. On the grassy plains, where the Dischnya lived, the resources were scarce, and the warriors competed fiercely.
Please, please, continue thinking up new planets to explore and interesting species to find. I, too, volunteer to join the crew, just to go wherever Alex goes, just because wherever he is, excitement is sure to find him.
This series is like having John Wayne, in space. I’ve never tired of him and I won’t ever tire of Alex & Co.
The Méridiens are fleeing to their far colonies - and they have reason to run. Over the course of decades, they have lost hundreds of ships, billions of people, and seven Confederation colonies to an alien enemy: an advancing swarm of silver ships transported in the bowels of a gigantic, spherical vessel. Alex Racine, who once enjoyed the solitary life of an explorer-tug captain, is now an admiral and responsible for the lives of a quarter million Librans.
Mr. Jucha, this series is so imaginative- truly other-worldly. Thank-you for writing it. I don’t know if you ever had doubts or rejections, but if you did, I for one am glad you worked through it.
If you love space-opera, with well drawn-out characters, a love story which never makes you hit the fast-forward, and with the most inventive species to meet, then you will love this series.
War. The word spreads throughout the Confederation...the long-expected Union invasion has come. The enemy is strong, their fleets larger and more powerful than intelligence reports had predicted. They have broken through the forward defenses, sent the Confederation's proud fleets into an ignominious retreat.
Even better! I loved the narrator, he did a fine job on the characters. His inflections were right on, and he was neither too loud nor too soft. The suspense in the storyline was just enough as well. Now I’m off to listen to number three.
A dirty deal was struck. Humanity was allowed to keep 300 rebellious worlds. In return, we declared war on a powerful enemy from beyond the frontier. A frantic build-up of forces has begun, but the task is hopeless. Seeking allies, Earth's legions are sent to Blood World. A planet on the fringe of known space, where the people only respect masters of combat. Earth's Legions must impress them, but other alien powers have been invited to join the contest. The prize consists of billions of loyal troops - Earth must win.
Just what I wanted to end (for now, I hope), this series. Did I mention that The Undying Mercenaries is my favorite series? It is. Thanks for a great romp through space, Mr. Larson.

The Galactics arrived with their Battle Fleet in 2052. Rather than being exterminated under a barrage of hell-burners, Earth joined a vast Empire that spanned the Milky Way. Today, Battle Fleet 921 is returning to Earth. It hasn't been seen by human eyes since our blissful day of Annexation. But what should be a joyful occasion, a chance to grovel at the feet of superior lifeforms, is rapidly becoming a nightmare.
This series is the best! The reader, Mark Boyett, is the best! I’ve been binge listening the last three books, now on to book 8. Not looking forward to withdrawals at the end, but, I’ll just recycle myself when book 9 appears.
How to understand the law of attraction with two simple definitions. When you understand who you are your confidence will increase. Learn how to receive the things you truly desire. Know the awesome you. Deeply rooted inside who you really are is a being with an unstoppable ability to create the life that will bring not only what you desire but will also emerge you into the life that bring the fulfillment for what you do.
I believe the kind of explanation the author gives for certain passages. And as he says, if they (the book) are not for you, that’s fine. They were for me, and as they helped me grow, and if possible feel even more loved by my God, this book was in the truest sense for me a real blessing. Of course the timing was perfect to listen to it - I don’t remember buying it. It’s short and sweet. If you’re in need of this, you’ll buy it now. If not, I hope you will soon, even if not to change your life, but to be thrilled that your Creator thought of you in ways you couldn’t have imagined.
As for the directing of the narration. The time between the last word of the text proper being spoken, and the first word of the text thereafter being spoken, needs a bit of lengthening - just a beat of rhythm at least, to allow the listener to (1) take in the powerful thoughts and feelings occurring because of those last words, taken in with the whole; (2) understand, and with the author and narrator, end the book proper, and then begin whatever else the author and publisher have to say. Thank-you,
One thousand years after Earth was destroyed in an unprovoked attack, humanity has emerged victorious from a series of terrible wars to assure its place in the galaxy. But during celebrations on humanity’s new homeworld, the legendary Captain Pantillo of the battle carrier Phoenix is court-martialed then killed, and his deputy, Lieutenant Commander Erik Debogande, the heir to humanity’s most powerful industrial family, is framed for his murder.
This book - don’t listen to it before bedtime, you’ll never get to sleep, because you won’t want to! I love listening to exciting space-operas and this one was so much fun - I stayed up too many nights! If I had read it from a paper book, I’d likely have given myself paper cuts trying to turn the pages fast enough. I’m going to stop writing now, because book #2 in the series is awaiting!!
Is there life after death? What happens on the other side? Is it possible to contact those who have already passed away? These are usually the questions people have in mind about life after death. Sometimes, you think grief gets in the way of your judgement. You don't know if you're just hallucinating or letting your imagination run wild. You have this inner conflict where you end up keeping these experiences to yourself. Otherwise, your friends or family might just stare at you with wide eyes.
I've spent most of my 57 years studying, researching, and using the gifts which are the focus of this book. So when it was clear this is very basic, meant for the person with little to no information, I wanted to be frustrated. Of course the book doesn't say it's for the practicing professional or anyone near that, so for someone who claims to love reading, I sure didn't bother to really read either cover - inside or out - nor any part which might have told me who was the intended audience.....duh. Having learnt long ago the benefits of seeing old things with young eyes, (never mind the reader had me mesmerized until I was floating along, held by a thread), I knew if I'd got thus far with this book, I was surely supposed to be learning something. And learn I did. Thank-you KIV, and you, Miss Sangita Chauhan. Now I'm off to practice telepathy, telling my friends about it; and then curl up for a great second read. I can't wait to see what I'm going to learn this time. I do hope I am able to meet both of you as our lives go on. Namasté, Linda

I've listened to this a few times now, and learn something new every time. Filled with meditations and directions for improvement, this is a new handbook for me in my self-studies. You are going to love learning from this book.
This book reveals the published diary manuscripts, of my drowning episode, or NDE (Near Death Experience) on August 28, 1966, in Santa Cruz California, which just happens to be on a Sunday, the same day it occurred, exactly 50 years ago, to the day. If you've ever wondered what your last day on earth might be like, then listen on my friend.
If this book touches you to keep reading, read and meditate your way through. If you feel so moved, ask to understand what is yours to know.
If you don't feel moved in a pleasant way, this book may not be for you right now. You might ask if there is anything for you here and now. According to the answer, keep reading or put it back, for now.
To the author, I know this book and your music was / is not only for yourself. As I am one of the people who needed to hear you tell your story, my thanks to you and to your partner for doing what had to be done for it's creation.
