We're the Harts. Between an engagement, a wedding, and an adoption, we've had the best year of our lives. Things have never looked better for Jaxon, Addison, and myself. But just because you say "I do" doesn't mean you get a happily ever after. And sometimes you get tackled more in life than you ever did on the football field. The only way we're going to make it through is if we do it together...Hart to heart.

My cock has an appetite. A huge and very particular appetite: blond, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar... (Although that's a story for another day.) As a high-profile lawyer, I don't have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online. My rules are simple: one dinner. One night. No repeats. This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less. At least it was until Alyssa...

He is shown as a human and explains some things that we're funny that I never read or heard like that my whole life! Read it... please!

Orphaned and besieged, Princess Alesandra knew that only hasty marriage to an Englishman could protect her from the turmoil in her own land. To the amusement of her makeshift guardian, Colin, younger brother of the Marquess of Cainewood, the bold raven-haired beauty instantly captivated London society. But when Alesandra was nearly abducted by her unscrupulous countrymen, the fighting instincts that won Colin a knighthood for valor were kindled. Deceiving himself that he wanted only to protect her, Colin swept her into a union meant to be a marriage in name alone...yet Alesandra's tender first kiss and hesitant caress ignited a wildfire in his soul.

The Emerald flew across the seas, carrying the pirate Pagan - despised by the ton, whose riches he plundered, and beloved by the poor, whose plight was eased by his gifts. The Marquess of Cainewood vows to hunt down the pirate wretch in revenge for his brother's death. But when Jade, an enchanting vision of rippling red hair and eyes of jewel-green, appears at his door to beg desperately for his protection, the Marquess agrees to keep her safe from the villains who want her dead. Loved the book! Laughed all through the first few chapters. Worth the listen I promise.... with one exception. The narrator has a beautiful voice , nice flexion in her reading, perfect... until she tries a Cajun accent . OMG! Please don't try that again without coaching please. Fingernails on a chalkboard are... just don't do that anymore as in EVER, OK? It was nauseating really. Two thumbs up in every other way though.

When I first started listening, I stopped at the 2nd chapter. Garrett was such a jerk and CANCER!! No, I read and/or listen to books to get a BREAK from those kind of things!! Today I started from the first again. I should have kept listening the first time. I know it was about where I was at the time. I delayed hearing a really...well sweet story. It is. This story about a jerk and cancer ends up being a sweet, feel good story. It ended and I smiled. Listen to it. That's what I recommend. :) Great voices to listen to by the performers, BTW.

Vanessa Mazur knows she's doing the right thing. She shouldn't feel bad for quitting. Being an assistant/housekeeper/fairy godmother to the top defensive end in the National Football Organization was always supposed to be temporary. She has plans, and none of them include washing extra-large underwear longer than necessary. But when Aiden Graves shows up at her door wanting her to come back, she's beyond shocked.

Mariana Zapata has a very down to earth style of writing . I love her sense of humor that is sprinkled through the book as well. Also I'd like to say that Callie Dalton absolutely adds to the audiobook with her narration. On one of Zapata's books she used someone else to narrate and you could REALLY tell the difference! So Zapata and Dalton are a winning team here.
