Burning alive is nothing compared to the heat of his touch. There are better ways to break up with a girl than having her roasted at the stake as a witch. Is it any wonder Ysabel has trust issues? She got her revenge, though, and it cost her only a slightly tarnished soul. Working for Lucifer isn't all bad until her ex-boyfriend escapes the bowels of hell, and she's forced to team up with a womanizing demon to fetch the jerk back.

After his prominent minister grandfather dies, Harlan and his parents move to Harlem, where he eventually becomes a professional musician. When Harlan and his best friend, trumpeter Lizard Robbins, are invited to perform at a popular cabaret in the Parisian enclave of Montmartre - affectionately referred to as "the Harlem of Paris" by black American musicians - Harlan jumps at the opportunity, convincing Lizard to join him.

First, I love the Ghostwalkers. I was so afraid the series was over but am happy to know that there is more coming. Ezekiel Fortunes the captain of the team is forced to leave Louisiana when radical terrorists take hostages in Indonesia to lead the rescue team. Zeke is a super soldier with enhanced abilities like the rest of his team. He can see better and run faster than the enemy, disappear when necessary and hunt along any terrain. Bellisia is a spy sent out and rarely meets a man she hasn't been tasked to kill. So when she escapes her coup and moves to Louisiana she meets Zeke who she is hoping is different. She wants to stay but she knows she is wanted and in order to keep him and his family/team safe she has to run. Jim can read to me anytime!

I don't usually like books with a western theme, but this series combines the paranormal in a western setting with unknown secrets affecting the whole town. John Luke Legacy was a federal agent until his family's revelation made him decide to resign and come home so his girl friend dumped him. There is a Legacy family business and he can make himself useful on the ranch (which he doesn't like) but now he's a man of ex's; he is an ex-husband with a son he wants to be closer to, an ex-FBI agent and now he's met Illiana, an exotic, sexy warrior woman with secrets. He falls like a ton of bricks. But there are some who want her dead and he is going to step up and squash her enemies and claim her for himself.

I like Doss, half Castian and Half Tonan he is 6.6, and glows white instead of black or gray and he has a diamond claw and super powers. Plus no tail which means he isn’t a liar.
After spending 700 years by himself he rescues her and her horse companions who have been duped by the Tonians. They are raping and torturing earth females with the out of control Castians . Zoe hates them all. In an effort to find a descent planet human women and children are now at the mercy of aliens who lied to the earth males. After some time Doss must determine if he too can trust Tonians and Castians and live with a mate for the companionship he misses so much.

Earth is being destroyed by meteorites, earthquakes, volcano's, tsunamis and starvation. Only the riches of rich are being taken on shuttles to a new identified planet called U NO. Grace refuses to leave her parents but eventually after tragedy strikes she is forced to leave Earth. Not sure she is in a better situation, the shuttle crashes and she meets Rask, a fully armored Castian alien, a male who has never seen humans or women. It is utterly hilarious that she has to teach him a few things but there is much to learn on both sides and many changes to adapt to. Fortunately, there were other women on the shuttle who have also crashed and a HEA occurs.

It is not amusing to see that the Earth is being destroyed by earthquakes, tsunamis and meteorites. What is amusing is that the women who are kidnapped or lost on U NO the new planet are being fought over by 400 year old virgin armored men who have no clue what women are. Of course as it triggers their ancient memories and with a little prompting from the women who are happy to escape death on Earth you get a HEA out of an alien abduction book. Good points - they are totally in tune with your emotions. Amy was dying of breast cancer and when she and 7 other women and 3 children are "rescued" and a new adventure begins for them all.

First I have to say I am sorry to see this series with Dani end. I am glad she stopped being Jada and became “just” the mega Dani O’Malley. I have hoped since Ryodan took an interest in Dani that it would be explained because she was only 14 and adored Dancer. Now with MAC and Barrons gone to fairy, the fae and Dancer - gone banished and dead, I thought the aged Dani would get with Ryodan. But not the way I had hoped so I gave the story a 4. Instead a new threat loomed and she was by herself. The book still ended with a weird HEA but too many questions lingered from Christian and Shaun to the other 7 of the nine. Anywho, I read and listened to an audio and they changed the narrators from past books. Both narrators were phenomenal just different. I love Jim Fragione and Phil Gigante and they have both done mega justice to the characters! Also the ladies did a fantastic job through all the books.
