Jason Thorn...my brother's childhood friend. Oh, how stupidly in love with that boy I was. He was the first boy who made me blush, my first official crush. Sounds beautiful so far, right? That excitement that bubbles up inside you, those famous butterflies you feel for the very first time - he was the reason for them all. But you get to live in that fairy tale world only until they crush your hopes and dreams and then stomp on your heart for good measure. And boy did he crush my little heart into pieces.

I so enjoy a good romance that has humor, good friends and hot guys and sassy females. This story grabbed my attention from the first and I stayed with it till the end. The narration was beyond excellent. Emotion, sexiness, love, hurt. All were well portrayed. I am going to listen to this many times and am even going to read the book since the narration has made the characters live in my mind and I will doubly enjoy the book.

I did not like Brock when he was first introduced as the DEA agent in the Mystery Man. He definitely grew on me in this Wild Man story. This is a great story to read and listen to (audible). I read this long time ago and just did not realize the value of writing a review. Now I know their importance to to authors. Listening to this is a great way to spend your time. It adds such depth to the story as they breathe life into the words. Love the audible. I can’t remember how many times I have listened to it.

I read this years ago, fell in love with the book and then the series! I have since read all of Ms Wright’s books. But this series and this book is a favorite. Beyond thrilled to see the audible version. Can’t wait to see the rest. Please! I have listened to this more than 4 times since I got it and I have not gotten tired of it yet. Narration is excellent. All the right emotions are expressed. Thank you for the audible version. Please do the rest.

The story is good. Lovely romance about a agreement to marry for business reasons that turns into something much more personal. The narration by August James was horrible: could tell the difference between his male and female voice and the male voice sounded too feminine. Would have been better if Noelle would have done The Who
W thing. She at least had a better male voice. The story was the only reason I listened to the entire book, well that and Noelle’s narration. This is not one I will ever listen to again.

Then Jackson makes another outrageous request: Marry me. The unconventional offer includes an enormous sum - money Bianca desperately needs, even if it does come with a contract - and a stunning ring.

I like this author. So I began this book knowing I would enjoy it. The writing, the story, so good. I began reading...before I realized it, an hour and a half was gone. I still kept reading. I just immersed myself in the characters and what they were experiencing. I loved the sassy, witty dialogue. It’s a great read. I was so blown away when I realized I finished the book. Who knew you could spend time so pleasantly without paying attention to it passing. I couldnt wait till it got an audible version.

I was so pleased when the audible came out. I didn’t even listen to the sample. Mistake on my part. I did not enjoy Diana Luke. She did not capture the soul of the story for me. Yes, it was pretty good because after all the story is great. Yes, I will “maybe” listen to it again. But I will not get another book read by Ms Luke.

Let me say this before I begin the review. I read and listen to a lot of books. Sometimes I don’t leave reviews if the story is not my thing because I do respect the author’ time and willingness to do something that I can’t do. This is the exception. This book left me numb. I liked neither the H nor the h. I did like the way the kid was written. The story was numbing. The audible was boring without heart. I listen once, couldn’t believe it and tried again....same. Just numbing. The only thing I can say good about this: she wrote a story. I just never want to read or listen to it again.

This was my book review years ago: “I was so unhappy when the last page was read. I loved loved loved this book. The character interaction kept me laughing and thoroughly entertained. It had intrigue with love, sex, and quirky characters that just brought the story to life. So well done!!” I have enjoyed the book by rereading many times. I was thrilled when I discovered it in Audible. It’s fantastic. It truly enhances the story. Loved Levy’s little voice. Loved all the voices. The narration was outstanding. I hope she puts her other Hautboy books in Audible. This be is my favorite but I enjoyed the others too.

Read the book. This narrator ruined the audible version. Her male voices were horrible and there wasn’t much distinction between the females. I read another book in this series and was so excited to read another in the Chase brother series, especially about Shane. I prefer listening to reading due to eyesight issues. This one I will have to suffer through my poor eyesight reading. Story: good. Narration: bad. I will make note of this narrator and not listen to her again !
