London Danvers was kidnapped as a child from her wealthy family. Over the years, many women have claimed to be her, trying to lay claim to the long-lost heiress's inheritance. Among them is Adria Nash, who has arrived in Oregon claiming to be London - but, unlike the others, she's different: she knows personal details only London could have known. And there is someone who does believe her - who is watching her every move, waiting to see how she runs, how she screams, and how she dies....
I have been a long time fan of Lisa Jackson but this story was disappointing to me. I was looking forward to a nice mystery/thriller and instead got a trite overly sexual romance... the chapters could have been cut down by a third if she had avoided the extreme repetitive explanations of the characters feelings and situations. The characters spent most of their time drinking, smoking and lusting after each other. The mysterious unknown parts were NO surprise at all! Ho hum...

Few books have had such an impact as Wild Swans: a popular best seller which has sold more than 13 million copies and a critically acclaimed history of China; a tragic tale of nightmarish cruelty and an uplifting story of bravery and survival.
I found this story to be educational and emotionally moving. I felt compelled to listen at every opportunity. I wanted to know more and tried to imagine the world these people lived in. It opened my eyes to what real suffering and bravery were. I sympathized and admired the Chinese families depicted. A great read!
The irresistible David Freed’s first mystery is a stay-up-late-to-finish thriller. Based in sunny Rancho Bonita - “California’s Monaco”, as the city’s moneyed minions like to call it - Cordell Logan is a literate, sardonic flight instructor and aspiring Buddhist with dwindling savings and a shadowy past. When his beautiful ex-wife, Savannah, shows up out of the blue to tell him that her husband has been murdered in Los Angeles, Logan is quietly pleased. Savannah’s late husband, after all, is Arlo Echevarria, the man she left Logan for.
Took a chance on this one. So glad I did! excellent narrator and terrific storyline. looking forward to more by this author.

Flora Dane is a victim. Seven years ago, carefree college student Flora was kidnapped while on spring break. For 472 days, Flora learned just how much one person can endure. Flora Dane is a survivor. Miraculously alive after her ordeal, Flora has spent the past five years reacquainting herself with the rhythms of normal life, working with her FBI victim advocate, Samuel Keynes. She has a mother who's never stopped loving her, a brother who is scared of the person she's become, and a bedroom wall covered with photos of other girls who've never made it home.
Truly enjoyed the story. Couldn't stop listening.... Great reader! Highly recommend this book. Gardner at her best.
