Noah Primeval is a speculative retelling of the beloved story of Noah for a new generation. In an ancient world submerged in darkness, fallen angels rule as gods, and breed giants and monsters. Mankind is enslaved to evil. Noah, a tribal leader, has been prophesied to bring an end to the rule of these "gods" and save humanity from coming destruction. But Noah's wife and son are captives of these dark forces.

This story makes the Bible come alive. I have never felt these stories were more real.

I hope to see many more of these well researched stories filled with Biblical truth!

I also appreciated that Brian Godawa kept the story clean - no graphic sex or violence details. We all know sex and violence are a part of the story, but we don’t need the gory details :)

Great book! Great narration!

After 400 years of slavery in Egypt, the Israelites under Moses have escaped into the desert and are prepared to enter the land of Canaan that God had promised them. There's only one problem: It's crawling with giants. And these giants are the Seed of the Serpent, linked to the nefarious Nephilim giants before the Flood. They are called Anakim, Rephaim and others. Only two men, Joshua and Caleb, have the faith to face these Nephilim giants whose murderous idolatry defiles the land. But first, they must establish a bridgehead across the river Jordan to launch their invasion.

The forefather and patriarch you thought you knew. After the Great Flood, the giant king Nimrod builds the Tower of Babel and unites the world in rebellion against the Creator. He seeks to achieve godhood as world potentate and bring in the pantheon of gods to rule with him. But God has other plans. He causes the confusion of languages and disperses Nimrod's kingdom to the four corners of the earth, allotting the nations under the authority of pagan deities.

A devastating disaster has left the Forbidden Court in ashes, its fountains destroyed, and its magic at risk. It was destined as the site of Trynne Kiskaddon's coronation as empress. Now, all Trynne can imagine is the roar of flames, the cries of Gahalatine's people, and the smell of cinders in a city gone dark. Tragic as the threat to Kingfountain is, it's nowhere near as foul as the treachery posed by Morwenna.

This is an entertaining book. Slightly different take on the apocalyptic survival story.

The author does some over explaining and endorses some obscure products - this isn't too distracting though.

I recommend this to all who enjoy a good end of the world survival! The next few books are better than the first.

The story is just as good as the first book in the series. But in this installment the author has included a lot of sex. A little of the sex is relevant to the story, but most is filler. One of the things I liked most about part 1 was its cleanliness - clean enough for a younger audience - this one is not appropriate for a young audience.

If you don’t mind sex then this is a great read!
