After a horrific accident Mike wakes to find himself blind in one eye. He now sees things that others can't, and nobody will listen to him. That is, until he meets Jandilyn Hollow. Will she be able to pull him out of the depths of his despair? Can love transcend even death?
He suffered much over the years
he lived through zombie Apocalypse, Vampire hunting, alien invasion and gladiator fights.
but there is one more ordeal he hasn't suffered yet.
I want to thank Mark Tufo for all sadistic ways he thought off over the years to hurt "Michael Talbot"

Exploding from the pages of Horror, Humor, and Heroes, Volume One - it’s the full length adventures of the one and only Mechani-Cal! So grab your battlesuit and prepare to get a little nasty.
Great book by great author.
Something in the middle between usual orthodox comics style and "BAD BOYS" comics by Garth Ennis
It is your choice
If you want something funny, easy to listen and interesting.

BT, Gary, and Mrs. Deneaux race to the Talbot compound in a desperate bid to turn the tides of a lost war. Is Michael dead? This is the question plaguing the Talbots as they prepare for the final showdown with a merciless enemy hell-bent on their absolute destruction.
I have to say that all the series was a huge disappointment.
It became too long
at most it should have been 3 or 2 books
all this dragged out suffering was the last nail in the coffin

CDF Lieutenant Harry Wilson has been loaned out to a CDF platoon tasked with secretly removing an unauthorized colony of humans on an alien world. Colonial Ambassador Abumwe has been ordered to participate in final negotiations with an alien race the Union hopes to make allies. Wilson and Abumwe’s missions are fated to cross - and in doing so, place both missions at risk of failure.
We Only Need the Heads is a tale from John Scalzi's The Human Division.
this damn transcript style makes me furious
I think I will wait until all of the episodes are available and continue then.

Wildcat colonies are illegal, unauthorized, and secret - so when an injured stranger shows up at the wildcat colony New Seattle, the colony leaders are understandably suspicious of who he is and what he represents. His story of how he’s come to their colony is shocking, surprising, and might have bigger consequences than anyone could have expected. Walk the Plank is a tale from John Scalzi's The Human Division, a series of self-contained but interrelated short stories.
39 minutes ARE YOU SERIOUS?
If you exclude all names, there will be only 20 minutes left
this is just a prologue-side story to the next episode,
so don't waste time and buy episode 2 and 3 at once.

Colonial Union Ambassador Ode Abumwe and her team are used to life on the lower end of the diplomatic ladder. But when a high-profile diplomat goes missing, Abumwe and her team are last minute replacements on a mission critical to the Colonial Union’s future. As the team works to pull off their task, CDF Lieutenant Harry Wilson discovers there’s more to the story of the missing diplomats than anyone expected... a secret that could spell war for humanity.
You read previous books and you know how it ended.
Trading was established and Earth's Iron Curtain was finally dropped.
and everybody lived happily ever after? NO, YOU ARE WRONG !
It's time for some reality Injection.

"My name is Mike Ross and I'm a Ferryman - like in the Greek myth. I didn't ask for, or really want, the job, but I'm trying to make the best of it. Most ghosts are okay and just need a little help to get where they need to go. Unfortunately, there are lots of exceptions, like power-mad psychopaths, spirits still trying to fight battles long since lost, and the worst of the lot - the Skinwalkers. They live vicariously by possessing people and controlling them like puppet masters. Then they toss them aside when they've outlived their usefulness."
Second book is as good as the first,
and from this moment on
Jim Bernheimer is in my top 10 Favorite Authors
and Jeffrey Kafer performed an outstanding narration.
I was upset to find out that there is no 3rd book as of yet,
but according to the author he has plans
for at least 1 probably 2-3 more books in a dead eye series.
Let's hope they will be available soon.

"My name is Mike Ross. I'm a Ferryman. I help people with ghost problems, or ghosts with people problems. Funny thing, no one ever helps me with my problems. Civil War ghosts bent on killing me, Skinwalkers who just want my body, and a vindictive spirit linked both to my bloodline and my destiny... It turns out the dead still hold a good deal of influence over the world, and they don't want to give it up. I'm in way over my head. Fortunately, I'm too stubborn to quit."
This book was awesome!!!!
I decided to listen to a small 30 minute piece and I couldn't stop!!!!
I already bought the second book and I'm just waiting for the weekend.

Kyle Riggs has been away from Earth for a long time.... What’s happening back home? In Empire, the sixth book of the Star Force Series, the story moves in a new direction. Earth falls quiet, and the few reports coming out of the homeworld are increasingly strange. Isolated in the Eden system, Riggs realizes his enemies are forming an alliance against him. Crushed between two monstrous fleets, the last defenders of Star Force must forge their own alliance with the biotic aliens. But which alien race can Riggs truly trust?
The fortress is completely built, it's time to build ships, but
The Earth stopped communicating with Riggs
He has terrible personnel problems, he has only 300 men
And all his neighbors, damn Crustaceans, Blues and Crow are plotting against him,
The question is who friend and who is foe?
Sometimes I think it is The Only Original Sci-Fi series
Next book is "Annihilation" and I hope it will available very soon!

The Eternal Emperor was dead, and the five members of the Privy Council ruled in his place. But they quickly discovered that their power would collapse around them if they didn’t locate the Emperor’s secret source of Anti-Matter Two, the economic keystone of the Empire. And so they sent a team of crack commandos to capture Sten, one of their late ruler’s few surviving confidantes.
One more worthy add to the series.
I hope that last 2 books will be available soon
(Jerry Sciarrio version please)
