Marika Paters has an energy coursing through her that others can't explain. Maybe it's the curious fox that lies within that gives Marika joy in her work as a geneticist for the only forensic laboratory for animals. But while her research unravels mysteries - like startling new data that threatens to dismantle everything science knows about shifters - Marika has always felt incomplete, just another lonely shifter looking for her mate.
It won't play tho I have redownloaded 2 times. I liked the first book and wanted to listen to this one as I read along, but I can't get it past this spot.
When the road forks, how do you know which path is the right one? Raven Black hunts evildoers for fun, but her vigilante justice isn't the only reason she's hiding from the law. Half vampire, half mage, she's spent years living as a rogue to stay alive. When a Russian shifter offers her a job in his covert organization hunting outlaws, dignity and a respectable career are finally within her grasp.
The narrator's voice is pleasant and well modulated which enhances the immersion reading. I enjoy all of the books in this series, but having the audible edition truly made this book my favorite. Hopefully they will release the audible editions of the other books in it.
A set textbook at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry since publication, Newt Scamander's masterpiece has entertained wizarding families through the generations. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an indispensable introduction to the magical beasts of the wizarding world. Scamander's years of travel and research have created a tome of unparalleled importance.
I love that each copy of this book in all its formats is giving proceeds to Lumos and J. K. Rowling's other charity.
I thoroughly enjoyed this audibly book as much as I did the other formats of it, they greatly increased my enjoyment of the movie. I read along with the narrator, so I could see the beast names written out. it is a fascinating subject for fans like me.

When out-of-work graphic designer Verity Long accidentally traps a ghost on her property, she's saddled with more than a supernatural sidekick - she gains the ability to see spirits. It leads to an offer she can't refuse from the town's bad boy, the brother of her ex and the last man she should ever partner with. Ellis Wyatt is in possession of a stunning historic property haunted by some of Sugarland, Tennessee's finest former citizens.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading and listening to this book. I will buy the next book in this series as soon as I finish leaving this glowing review. this book is a fascinating mystery, and the characters complex and relatable. The plot is intriguingly creative. Happy reading and listening!
At 28 Ariel Hamm is ready to start focusing on what she wants. After her fiancé unexpectedly ends their engagement, she seeks to redefine who she really is. A pilot for Boswell International, Ariel knows flying is not her first love. Unhappy, she finally makes a decision based on what she wants - to live on the property she purchased in Wyoming and care for the stray and neglected animals that have always captured her heart. Her plans change suddenly when she finds herself on a warship headed for a distant planet.
I loved reading this book, and found the audio version great for bed time & commutes. This series is both hilarious and heartwarming. All of the books in it are very entertaining and imaginative in their own ways.

Virginia Dean wakes at midnight beside a dead body, with a bloody knife in her hand and no memory of the evening’s events. Dark energy, emanating from the mirrors lining the room, overpowers her senses. With no apparent way in or out, she’s rescued by a man she’s met only once before, but won’t soon forget.... Owen Sweetwater inherited his family’s talent for hunting the psychical monsters who prey on London’s women and children, and his investigation into the deaths of two glass-readers has led him here.
This entire 3 separate time line series is one of the best paranormal series it has ever been my pleasure to read. I fell in love with Castle's brilliamt, imaginary world of Harmony in her futuristic series years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed her Quinn's hiistorical series, and was delighted with Krantz's contemporary series.
The fact that she combined them into the Arcane Society series just made this series impossibly better. We can follow the families from the 1600s to well into the future.
Out of all the mysterious boarders who call Sanctuary home, no one is more antisocial or withdrawn than Maxis Drago. But then it's hard to blend in with the modern world when you have a 50-foot wingspan. Centuries ago he was cursed by an enemy who swore to see him fall. An enemy who took everything from him and left him forever secluded.
I love the imaginatve world of Kenyon's creation. The characters & plots always entertain, & the narrator brings the story to living color.
Action, love, family loyalty, and strength of character fill this series and the Nick Chronicles.
Hunted. Hated. Betrayed. Dagger Ixur is on the run for his life. As one of the most recognizable members of his royal house, he has a bounty on his head that guarantees him no quarter from any friend or even family. But surrender isn't in him. He will fight to the bitter end. A resolve that is sorely tested when he narrowly escapes a trap that leaves him severely wounded. With what he believes is his dying breath, he saves a boy born to an extinct race from a group out to enslave the kid for his legendary abilities.
Another great book in a great series. After all these years of hating the character, Julian, and boom she makes him one of the best of all. I loved the animated reading of the narrator, he really brings the pages to life. I dislike dronelike monotone readers as they make great books seem boring. Great book in a great format.
With great power comes great responsibility. So says the tradition of witching. One teenage witch missed that lesson.... As a child, Sierra Brighton traveled the world. She swam with the baby whales, danced in storm funnels, and lived in complete magical freedom. And then Momma died and Sierra ended up in foster care, an unhappy and very secret witch.
Fetched by Nell's spell, she'll no longer need to do magic on lonely beaches - but can Sierra learn to use her power safely? Or will her reckless blood put Witch Central at risk?
All of Geary's series are heartwarming & exciting. The characters are enchanting & loveable. She created a world of love, family -(both of the blood & the heart), & acceptance of all Witch Cenfral's family. Being able to listen when unable to read the kindle version or listening while reading made the experience even better.
