Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

If you could sum up The Hunger Games in three words, what would they be?

Edge of seat.... Thats where I was for all 11+ hours of this book... Thoroughly original.

What other book might you compare The Hunger Games to and why?

Divergent, similar story line. The hunger games is better though.

Which character – as performed by Carolyn McCormick – was your favorite?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Katniss saves Peeta's life in the cave.

Any additional comments?

Great read, better than the movie (which i enjoyed) and thoroughly engaging.
