Francesca Virgata wants a mate. She longs for the perfect kind of love her parents had. There's only one problem: She has zero prospects. Thankfully, she's heard of Gerri Wilder, who promises to make all her mating dreams come true. Theo and Marcus are best friends and share everything, even women. So when they both fall for Francesca, it's only natural they have a friendly competition over who can get the girl. After some thought and a hot little interlude, they realize she shouldn't choose one over the other; they should work together to make the perfect triad.
I love the lion’s, tiger’s and bear’s aspect of this book that was pretty neat. I also loved that at the beginning of the book both Theo and Marcus have this connection that was really neat. BUT… then we never hear about the connection again and that made me a little sad because it would have totally been hot to have some of that connection going on when they meet Francesca.
Other than that, I really enjoyed how they met, how they all come together though it wasn’t as easy as 1, 2, 3 and that Francesca had to really think about her choices.
Again I LOVED the new narration; he is really starting to grow on me.
Since that fateful day she was snatched from her job and turned into a Vampire, Mandy's life has sucked - literally. Forced to become an assassin for the Vampire Council, she finds solace in taking out the scumbag rogues she's often assigned to kill. Things go south when she realizes her next mark is an old coworker from her human days…a seriously hot one, who she had deep feelings for.
Oh, wee! I loved the turnaround in this story. We really haven’t meet vampires who were good yet. So this story had me all intrigued.
I am a fan of this series and I loved that the narration hasn’t changed.
We learned of Glacier in Creed’s book and he had me wanting more because he was so stone cold or that is how he comes off. But he is totally a big softy in the center.
I kind of loved that Mandy had a past and isn’t afraid to take care of herself but without making her too hard. She was still sweet and you would think that her past would have or could have affected her in a different way. I am glad it didn’t.
I am really looking forward to the next book in this series.
You don't have to listen to any of the other books in the series first. It's 100% stand-alone. Miranda Colilla needs a mate. Fast. This curvy lioness wants a man she can bend to her will, who will stay out of her business, and let her lead like the alpha she is. She needs that mate urgently before the lions in her pride think she's going to hand the reins over to one of them and let them tell her what to do. Not in this lifetime. When a wolf saves her hide, there's more than just gratitude sparking between them.
First new narration!! I liked it, sometimes I felt like he paused too long but whatever it was a nice change.
Now, this is the kind of story I remembered reading. She has sass and he isn’t one to back down. I loved it. More like this one, please!
I am a fan of Gerry and I want more of her matchmaking
Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux knows she is the best - but she does not know if even she is good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful archangel Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, Elena knows failure is not an option---even if the task is impossible. Because this time, it's not a wayward vamp she has to track. It's an archangel gone bad.
I really liked the world the author created, it was unique and fun but not too out there that you’re like what?
I did feel like we are missing some of the details that would have helped me like the book just a little bit better. The fact that humans know about archangel’s and that they live among them one was one. But also that vampire’s too live among the humans too, just in a different way than other books.
The love story is ok, I liked Elena but I kind loved Raphael more, he was a little dreamier for me. I didn’t really see Elena with him but whatever it worked and I enjoyed the book.
I liked the narration, I feel like she does sound a little too old for a 20 something year old girl but it is whatever because her other voices for the characters is what I liked the most. I like that they flow well and I can get lost in the story.
The moment Gillian Forrester held her older sister's unwanted newborn, Gillian stopped running and began building a life for her adopted son. Now, 13 years later, Gillian's sister reveals the father's identity on her deathbed.... Adrian Brown is the epitome of the successful rock star. It takes a lot to shock him - but the bombshell that he has a son rocks his world. And Adrian is even more surprised when the buttoned-up elegant woman who's raising him ignites his erotic and romantic attention - and engages his heart.
I don’t really have a favorite of this series because I like them all soooo much.
But if I had to choooooseeee…. Adrian would be it.. he is delicious!
Now Gillian is no slouch and I think I love that she puts Adrian in his place when he needs it.
I totally understand Adrian’s trust issues but I can only excuse that so far you know. At some point, he has to make the choice and go all in.
There is one scene in this book that makes me love Brody so much more than I already did and that was when he threw water in Adrian’s face, now he did it for a reason and I felt he did the right thing at that time. Brody being Brody even apologized for it after.
I think we needed that to really show that Brody has been the father figure and we don’t always remember it because we think of his as the brother but he is so much more than just a brother to Adrian and Erin. And I just loved that scene for better or worse it has just always stuck with me.
I always cry near the end of this book, Gillian gets me every time. She wears her heart on her sleeve and when it is hurt she shows it. It was an emotional scene and no matter this is the fourth time reading it I still get all weepy with her.
I LOVVVVVVEEE Lucy Rivers narration in this book so very much. She did Gillian's accent SO well. I can’t even tell you how much I loved that not only does she do an English accent well she did both types and they were both so freaking amazing and distinct.
Ella doesn't have any room for romance, but that doesn't mean she has to stop admiring the scenery. Sexy security professional Andrew Copeland is no stranger to women, but he knows Ella is something different. Determined to get her to let him in, Andy does the one thing he can think of to get close: he offers her hands-on training in self-defense - and before long, all that skin on skin contact will have them both turning inside out.
Ella and Cope
I am soo glad Ella is a survivor. I say that because she isn’t your typical survivor, 4 years have gone by since her attack and she is a stronger character for it.
Now I would never want that to happen to a character just to make them stronger but in this case it’s just how it played out and I love that she doesn’t act like a victim she is up front about her fears and Cope is there to help.
Cope is kind of in the middle of family drama because Ben being his brother is involved with a male and a female that we met in Laid Bare and their father is having trouble being ok with it. Cope wants to make everything better and Ben is just done with it all.
I loved this LOVE STORY sooooo freaking hard. Ella’s story is strong and bold unique. I love that she has this small squeaky voice but this huge personality. I love that Cope sees her for whom and what she is. I love that they have tihs deep connection and can be open and honest.
I just loved this story.
After his parents' death, Brody gave up a promising career to care for his family. Now, with his siblings grown, Brody owns his own business, and for the first time in years he's alone. Elise has come to Seattle with her daughter to find peace. After years as a world-famous ballerina - and trapped in a marriage gone bad - she's looking for neither love nor attention. But she finds both in the handsome, honest man who befriends her with no strings attached.
Brody is probably my favorite of the Brown siblings because he just has such a HUGE heart.
It’s in everything he does and never expects anything in return. To him being able to be there for his family is all the thanks he ever needs.
So when Elise comes to his neighborhood he is kind of taken aback at how much he is drawn to her and her kid.
I love the tentative relationship they have at the beginning, but how much chemistry they have right from the get go.
This book is full of turmoil and swoony parts and holy freaking HOT parts.
I can’t even tell you how much this book makes my heart happy.
I am a Brody fan but I am a Brody and Elise fan more. They together fit and it’s a love story more people need to read especially if you are a romance fanatic like me.
It's been ten years since clean-cut, sexy-as-hell police officer Todd Keenan had a white-hot fling with Erin Brown, the provocative, wild rocker chick next door. Their power exchange in the bedroom got under his skin. But love wasn't in the cards just yet.... Now, life has thrown the pair back together. But picking up where they left off is tough, in light of a painful event from Erin's past. As Todd struggles to earn her trust, their relationship takes an unexpected and exciting turn when Todd's best friend, Ben, ends up in their bed - and all three are quite satisfied in this relationship without a name.
Todd, Erin, Ben
It’s utterly sad what Erin has been through. My heart hurts for her and all she has been through and will go through. It’s not something you can just get over. But she has the wonderful support of her family and a few close friends.
Todd has a hard time coming to terms with his who and what he likes is. He and Erin were once an item then he shied away.
10 years and a lot of hurt and broken relationships and he has found his way back to Erin but it’s more, his best friend Ben also comes in to play.
When feelings become more for all three of them.
I love that all 3 of these characters communicate. They don’t judge each other. But they talk things through and are there for one another. There isn’t the drama it’s just a story of second chances and opening yourself up to love and to be loved no matter who is the one getting and giving the love.
Loved this book, and will keep on to the next cause Brody! :)
Mick Roberts, the newest partner at Twisted Steel's custom hot rod and motorcycle shop, looks like a man with everything. But secretly he still craves the connection he lost when his best friend, Adam, and the love of his life, Jessilynn, walked out. Then he wasn't ready for the pleasure they promised. Now things have changed. Rich, powerful, and insatiable, Adam Gulati is used to getting what he wants. And there's nothing he wants more than Mick and Jessi.
Who doesn’t love a great second chance story? I totally do because the characters are more mindful of each other. I love that. I think that is one of the biggest reason second chance love stories are my favorite.
Jessi, Adam, and Mick
These three have history and it was nice to see that. I enjoyed how they came together and even though three in a relationship isn't normal they make it work. Because for them it is THEIR normal. They have a hard time with Adam and Mick’s family accepting them but they don’t need them to accept them. Is it hard of course but they love each other and that is what matters.
They are all very different and need each other for different things and that's I think is why they work so well.
Also, can I say this about the sex...HOLY HOT!
Woohoo to Jessi for putting out her hard limits and they totally don't try and make her try things she clearly doesn't want to. DANG RIGHTS!!
I LOVED the narration, I wished more of LD’s books were narrated by Sasha Dunbrooke.
I want more more more of this series! Heck, I just want more Lauren Dane books! <3
On the night of her high school graduation, Vale McKinley and her boyfriend, Crawford, are in a terrible car accident that leaves Crawford in a coma. They were supposed to spend the summer planning for college, for a bright future full of possibility. Together. Instead, Vale spends long days in the hospital, hoping Crawford will awaken. Slate Allen, a college friend of Vale's brother, has been visiting his dying uncle at the same hospital. When he and Vale meet, she can't deny the flutter of an illicit attraction.
I got sucked in because one it is Abbi Glines and two she has a way of sucking you in. I really wasn’t sure what was going on, but I will tell you to keep on listening because all will be revealed!
I was getting to a point in the story where I didn’t like Vale very much and I did just not understand what in the world she was doing. But then I keep on listening and BAM you finally get it.
I liked the family feel to this book and how they all look out for each other, made my heart oh so happy.
This isn’t like Abbi’s other books but I think that might be why I enjoyed it, it was new and exciting and I have more Abbi book to go so I better get on it.
It took a little bit of getting used to Emily’s narration she sounds very young and I wasn’t sure I was going to like it but she matches what Vale seems like in my head. So once I got used to it I like it. Eric does a great job.
