United Nations Special Operations Command sent an elite expeditionary force of soldiers and pilots out on a simple recon mission, and somehow along the way they sparked an alien civil war. Now the not-at-all-merry band of pirates is in desperate trouble, again. Their stolen alien starship is falling apart, thousands of light years from home. The ancient alien AI they nicknamed Skippy is apparently dead, and even if they can by some miracle revive him, he might never be the same.

After spending hundreds of painful miles dreaming of his reunion with his family, Gary arrives home only to find his family under attack. Would you consider the audio edition of Legion of Despair to be better than the print version?

YES!! Out of the many audiobooks I have listened to my different narrators this is the best!!! Kevin Pierce and his voice is a perfect match. I got lost like I was there in the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jim is by far the bad ass of the group. Although we don't hear from him as much in this installment.

Have you listened to any of Kevin Pierce’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES. I listened to the whole first book in 4 days. (listened twice) second book 4 days, and this book 5 days.

Any additional comments?

By far the best narrator for the characters in the series. I want book 4 yesterdayLOL
