A short audio book. I love how Sophia is able to steal Rhett's heart and get him to slow down and spend more time with his daughter. I love how hard Rhett fell for Sophia and how he supports her in her career choice. Narration is great.

Newly promoted ranger Barcud provokes the anger of the evil city of Horrabia and rumours of war abound. In a race against time, Barcud must found a village at a strategic river crossing, level it, and defend it against the oncoming threat. But the Rangers Guild can't fight a whole city on their own, and they must seek allies among the unwilling, the unreliable, and the wicked in order to survive. A story set in a virtual reality MMO where PVP is universal and heavy griefing is allowed by the developers to make the stakes ever more real for players.

I really enjoyed this book. it was fast moving and kept me interested. It was focused on city building and war strategy, There weren't a lot of stats, which I appreciate in an audiobook when I can't skim that part! I also appreciate the mix of male and female player characters.
