They call Dash Wallace the Diamond King. He's the hottest commodity in baseball and in the bedroom. When he runs the bases, every woman's eyes are glued to his stunning body and a smile that puts the night lights to shame.
Loved it! Great story with the sexyness but not over powering. The baseball story just adds to it realness!
Everything about Fiona is forbidden. She's a party girl with dark desires. She's beautiful, irresponsible, and irresistible. She's my patient. I'm her therapist. I'm past wanting her. Past possessing her. Past bedding her or protecting her. I'm willing to be self-destructive, negligent, brave, audacious, and stronger than I ever believed possible. She's blunt force trauma to the heart. And she calls another man Master.
Yeah this is a darker romance and touchs on some pretty tragic topics. But, this is real life that nobody wants to talk about. This author really touched on these with such grace and purity.
There's one woman though who can break down his walls. Someone who knew him then. Who can reach inside to that heart he protects fiercely, because she's the only one he ever gave it to. When they collide, it's tender and savage, gentle and rough, and makes them both hungry for more of this electric, once-in-a-blue moon kind of sexual chemistry. But it's a battle of wills between Michael and the woman he loves, with words and emotions held close to the vest.
This was a fabulous ending to a great series. I wasn't big on the whole cliff hangers between books but, turned out pretty good.
After giving in to a fiery night of passion, island adventurer Steph Anderson and bounty hunter Jake Harlowe are back to square one. With millions in stolen jewels at stake, it's hard for Steph not to question her new partner's true motives - no matter how sexy he might be. Jake is hungry for more of Steph, but he can sense her growing mistrust, which only fuels his own doubts. Worse, there's undeniable evidence that someone else is now after the jewels - and that they are both in real danger.
All her books are connected in some way, so I enjoy everything Lauren Blakely has written. U get everything in her books, laughter, sorrow, backstory and hot & steamy. Vast wait for the next!
"Let me control your pleasure." Their world was sex, love, and lies. He intoxicated her. Commanded. Consumed. With a dirty mind and a mouth to match, Clay Nichols is everything Julia never knew she wanted and exactly what she cannot have. He walked into her life one night and unlocked pleasure in her that she never knew was possible. Possessing her body, captivating her every thought. Which makes him way too dangerous for Julia to risk her heart, given that she has a price tag on her head.
I love Julia & Clay! The narration wasn't my favorite but not horrible either; with the had dual narration. Two people being kept apart by circumstance! I hate when the past keeps u from moving forward! Will finish this series. I love Lauren Blakely's books.
Bounty hunter Jake Harlowe knows how to track a criminal. So when a group of swindled shareholders hire him to trail their former CEO, Jake expects a quick trip to the Cayman Islands to close another case. Until a devastatingly beautiful woman gets in the way. Steph Anderson is visiting the Caymans for a rock climbing and dive trip - or so she tells Jake. She's really trying to find out whether or not her stepfather embezzled money from his company. The last thing Steph needs is the distraction of a sexy, charming man.
Lauren Blakely has the most amazing books. They are funny, infuriating & just ((sigh)) worthy. She also seems to create some of the best book boyfriends. Once you get one, you read another and yeah...can't wait for the next!
They say Paris is always a good idea.... You know what I say? Paris would be a much better idea if I spoke the dang language. I can't even board the metro to visit the Louvre without ending up at the Moulin Rouge, and let's not even mention how I'll ever make it through a day at my new office. Fortunately my company hooks me up with my own personal translator. Ooh la la. Or should I say bloody hell? Because he's charming, witty, and British, and he brings the city to life for me.
I did like the story however, it was very slow to get to the good stuff and for the relationship to take off...chapter 22 is when they first come together..the few chapters later they split again...
I will read the next just wasn't to impressed with this one...
This single gal has had enough of the games, the BS, and the endless chase. I know what I want most, and it's not true love. It's a bun in the oven, and I'm not afraid to hit up my sex-on-a-stick coworker to do the job. Ryder is gorgeous, witty, and wild - and he's also a notorious commitmentphobe. That makes him the perfect candidate to make a deposit in the bank of me. I won't fall for him, he won't fall for me, and there's no way baby will make three. Right?
I can not tell you how much I truly love these books. The author is a amazing writer. She brings th characters to life with the in depth plausible writing. You can laugh, swear and almost cry in 20 mins. Can't wait for my next one.
Lucas Donahue is not ashamed of his criminal past, but after a brief stint in prison, he's ready to go legit and live a normal life. The problem is, no one leaves the gang without permission - even if he is one of the boss' top men. Plus, someone's placed a hit on him. And then there's that feisty little bartender who's going to cause him even more trouble. Heidi Greene knows to keep her distance from a ladies' man like Lucas - even if she can't keep her eyes off him.
typical sassy girl with and alpha Male at her back. This story just adds all the action with it. the narration was not the best but, I finished the book.
From best-selling author Kylie Scott comes the second book in her Dive Bar series! When his younger brother loses interest in online dating, hot, bearded bartender extraordinaire Joe Collins intends only to log in to his account and shut it down. Until he reads about her.
Loved it! This book has everything, sassy females, alpha hot men & great friends and family. I really enjoyed the narration as well. Can't wait t
for the next. Wish this had dual narration. But still top on my re-read.
