Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

I could not put this book down. I first bought it on my Kindle and then I got. it on Audible so I could listen to it in the car, I finish it up with the Kindle. The Alice Network the book is a very good piece of fiction, The Alice Network in history is about a group of very brave women that lived 100 years ago. These women should not be forgotten.

An historic literary event: the publication of a newly discovered novel, the earliest known work from Harper Lee, the beloved, best-selling author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic To Kill a Mockingbird. Originally written in the mid-1950s, Go Set a Watchman was the novel Harper Lee first submitted to her publishers before To Kill a Mockingbird. Assumed to have been lost, the manuscript was discovered in late 2014.

This book is well written but made me uncomfortable at times. It brought in site to an age that was not totally understood. having live in that time in history I felt as Scout did.
