Darn it, a man has his pride and a caribou of a certain majestic presence - all of which could wind up ruined if he abases himself to play a simple-minded reindeer in the town's Christmas parade. No way was he wearing tinsel in his antlers. Like heck was he sporting a red nose and pulling a sleigh. But he changes his mind when he meets the woman in charge of the event.

Loved the narration with this book. Mr McAllister just made it sound so much fun and I could just see Kyle, his expressions, his poses and his antics. He had him down to a T. Even my husband was listening and asking questions so I had to keep pausing the story to answer him. Loved the book and have read it a t least 5-6 times but will be listening to the audible version for years to come. BOOK REVIEW I don’t often give 5 stars but this book deserves them. The first few lines in this book say it all. But do you recall the most vain ex-soldier of all. Kyle is just wonderful in this book, he is just so endearing and weird about everything and talks in mission terms to himself to help him cope with things. His mission list was so funny. Crystal is a cougar shifter with a daughter Gigi who wraps Kyle around her little finger and sooths his hurt heart. The banter and snark between Crystal and Kyle was the best ever. His carry on about being Rudolph was so funny. Loved the whole Christmas theme and the Epilogue was superb. This series has to be re-read time and time again for the sheer enjoyment each book brings.

She'd like to blame her illogical affection for him on hormones, but the erotic remedy just heightens her chemical imbalance. Reg never thought a simple rescue mission would make him question his decision to remain single, for while Penny drives him crazy with her never-ending questions, her simple presence inflames his lust - and causes havoc with his emotions.

I believe this is the first audible book I think is better than the book itself. The humour comes across so well in audible. Good narration, I don’t know how these narrators can keep their voices so even reading some of this stuff. Reading this as a book I would laugh out loud but in audible I just kept giggling, much to my husbands amusement. The sex scenes were also really prominent on audible. BOOK REVIEW Loses a star for heroines’ stupidity in sneaking off the ship. What a cute fun read. Loved Reg and his not wanting a mate thinking and how the Oracle tricked him. Was finding Penny cute with all her questions until she does the TSTL trick of getting off the space ship after being told the port was not safe. Of course she gets into trouble and Reg has to save her. Then she gets all ratty with him when he tells her off. Apart from that one stupid incident this was a good fun read and I liked Ralph the AI computer. Did like the ending, really funny. I own the original version which has been read and reviewed previously but they are missing.

Reece never imagined his chosen mate would be a woman with extra curves, but all it takes is one taste to realize the benefits and turn his world upside down. Their arguments are many, their lust for each other fiery, but while he's ready for the next step, Teddy keeps running. What will it take to win her trust and heart?

One of my favourite books by Ms Langlais that I have read numerous times. The narrator reads this well and I must say listening in audible really brings out the humour and makes this story seem more erotic. I found I liked the interaction and chemistry between Teddy and Reece even more whilst listening. Will be listening to this book more than once. This is my honest review of this audio book that I was kindly gifted by the author. BOOK REVIEW One of my favourites by this author. When Teddy and Reece first meet it was not quite what one would expect. Reece has had his pick of woman and this has made him a bit of a jerk. His disdain at finding out his mate is one chubby chick was really hurtful. I did enjoy the way these two mates clashed as soon as they saw each other. Teddy upon seeing his reaction to her was not having it or him just because fate decided they were mates. She doesn't need him, and tries to tell herself and her bear she doesn't want him. When Reece saves her, they end up having a quickie but Teddy runs and tries her best to forget him. Reece has to find, chase down and win over Teddy with and without the help of her meddling family. There is just enough conflict to make this interesting without drawing it out.

I am becoming a fan of audible books, especially when you get a good narrator like Kelsey Osborne. The nuances one hears make a book you have read come alive and you can really enjoy the story.
Loved the epilogue at the end. The narrator made Jenna and her dragon playing around in the water sound like such fun.
I have posted a review for this book as well which I will include at the end.
BOOK REVIEW
Wonderful to be staying in Maui with a new set of shifters.
A great spin-off series following on from the wonderful Jewels of the Heart. This time we have the Pearls of Desire which have a sad history attached to them but that help out those with true love in their hearts.
Really liked how Ms Lowe brings the wonderful island of Maui straight into your senses. I can see, smell and feel the lushness of this beautiful island whilst reading.
To really get the best of this book I would suggest reading LURE OF THE TIGER first to get more knowledge about Jenna and her special blood.
In this new series we get some seriously tough alpha men, Connor, his brothers Tim (a bear shifter) and Chance (a wolf shifter) and their brother of the heart Dell (a lion shifter). If you want to know how three brothers are all different shifters you will have to read this story.
In this first story, our Alpha leader Connor is a dragon who is scared of water and is perfect for our mermaid blooded Jenna. He has not always been a good little soldier following orders blindly, unfortunately his brothers tended to follow him so any trouble found them too.
Working for Koa Point means a fresh start, a good steady job and a chance to make something of their lives. Living on Koakea Planation means a chance to set down roots. Connor cannot do anything to mess this up. Meeting and falling for Jenna on the plane to Maui could be one big mess up.
These men are also former special forces soldiers known to the men of Koa Point, who need a place to settle down and call home. The fact they will also be getting the one woman in the whole world who will complete and compliment them is an added component in making this a great series. Thrown into this mix living at Koakea Plantation is a mystery widowed woman, Cynthia, (a dragon shifter) and her adorable little boy Joey.
Jenna is fleeing to Koa Point and her sister Jody. The chance of working for Teddy Akoa making surf boards in one not to be missed but getting away from her stalker is what prompted this quick change of direction in her life.
Meeting the tough silent Connor on the plane and feeling safe in his presence gives Jenna the chance to sleep for the first time in weeks. Finding out he is living on the plantation next door to Koa Point gives them the chance to spend time together.
Love how this story flows and the surprise with Jenna’s stalker was good.
Cannot wait to read Cynthia’s story as well as the rest of the boys.

I believe this narrator, Tyler Donne, is one of the best I have listened to. He made it a pleasant and enjoyable time. His tone of voice, inflections and slight accents for the various people of both sexes was entertaining and believable. I always like my reading speed increased slightly for my enjoyment and this did not detract at all. This is my honest review of this audio book that I was kindly gifted by the author. BOOK REVIEW You need to read Lazy Son before reading this for the best understanding, as this story is a continuation from that book. Much better for me than book one which I struggled a bit with due to the time overlap. I have not yet read the Princess of Hell books but will be doing so soon. Found the action better in this book and the different threads from the other series was extremely well done, all that pulling and weaving was fantastic. Liked the interaction between Isabelle and Chris, found it becoming stronger the more they did together. Loved that Chris was the one who actually ended up wanting to wait for their wedding night. What a funny turnaround. The scenes with Goshen were so good especially in the family home. Will be awaiting the next book to see what is going to happen.

Or maybe not such an easy job, because she’s forced to work - and live - in close quarters with smoking-hot army hero Jake McBride. Jake isn’t just the one-night stand she can’t forget - he’s also a human, totally off-limits to shifters of her kind.

I am really getting into listening to audible. So handy when I am ironing or busy in the office. I have posted a review for this book as well which I will include at the end. Found this one more enjoyable than previous books. Not sure if I have just gotten used to the narrator’s style or if there was less tension in this book. Still find there is a lack of inflection with this narrator but she is better than others I have listened too. When I read either out loud or in my mind, I put emphasise on things. An enjoyable story told fairly well. BOOK REVIEW Another great story in this series that finally gives us Ella’s story. The fact her mate is a fellow soldier from the days the shifters of Koa Point served in the forces is a lovely twist. Ella has been a part of this series since book one though we have never met her. She is one of the boys and a respected member of their elite forces team. Jake was also in the military and knows all the guys from Koa Point but does not know about shifters. Loved the way this story unfolded with interesting things happening and at the same time we learn more about the childhood past of Ella, Boone and Hunter. Loved how the Keystone come into Jakes possession and how he found it. It will be really interesting to see what happens if the stones need to be used against Moira. Ella and Jake dance around each other for ages before they start to see they are meant to be. It takes a serious incident for Ella to see they are meant to be together. So sad about what happened to Ella’s mum and Brian, no wonder she was running afraid of mating Jake. The baddie Goode was unique and I am very happy with what happened to him. The ending with everyone at Koa Point together for Cassandra and Silas’ wedding was so heart-warming and sweet. Loved having memories of our holiday in Hawaii refreshed.

I found listening to this book different from the previous books. The narration is the same as always, slightly monotone in presentation but the big battle scene towards the end felt more dragging and longer than when I read it in the book. Whilst reading it seemed exciting and all happened quickly, I loved it but something was lost in the transition to audible.
This is the culmination of five books worth of aggravation from Drax and Moira and it seemed to come across as more of a whimper than a bang.
My husband was in the car with me and even he commented on how dull it seemed for a big battle scene.
So in regards to this audible book I love the story but the narration lets it down. Not enough verve when needed.
This is my honest review of this audible book.
BOOK REVIEW
Ms Lowe has done it once again and given us another great story in the Aloha Shifters series.
A beautifully written story for a special person we have come to love, Silas, that introduces a wonderfully complex yet simple woman made just for him, Cassie.
This book starts out with a kick and just keeps you hustling to read what happens next.
Cassie has only just learned about shifters and has been told in no uncertain terms to NEVER trust a dragon. She manages to stop Drax from getting the Windstone and puts herself right in Drax crosshairs.
Silas saves her and gives her the option of coming with him to safety or going it alone. He is drawn to Cassie but won’t admit why but his dragon knows and keeps telling him quite forcefully and humorously, that she is his mate. Silas’ dragon was so cute as he kept a running commentary with Silas about Cassie being their mate that had me in stitches.
Cassie is the only one who can get Silas to stop and enjoy the beauty of what life is showing him. She is the balance he so badly needed. He has never really even stopped to admire the view from his own house.
I loved how this story played out, the interaction between these two learning to trust the other and the slow build up to a relationship that will last a lifetime.
Having started this series with 5 handsome shifter males, Ms Lowe has given us everything we need to start winding this series up. But instead has she has subtlety opened this series up to more characters and more great reads.
Loved that we finally find out about the ownership of Koa Point and it is now a settled home for everyone.
It was such a twist as to how Silas and Drax finally get together for the final battle and I truly loved the poetic justice of what happened to Drax, unfortunately Moira is still at large.
This is my honest review of this book.

The narration is good but I have to speed her up a quarter for my listening pleasure but having said that, I am really starting to enjoy audible books and can nearly ignore the one voice doing all voices feature.
The difference between reading and listening is interesting. When reading I imagine scenes and voices that may be nothing like what the author meant but it becomes my world of imagination. Listening to one person narrate, no matter how good they are takes that away to some degree, but in return you get a diverse inflection and find you relate to the story differently. I found myself laughing and holding my breath whist listening as I picked up nuances that you do not get when reading. I found it more gripping and humorous, especially in relation to Keiki's behaviour.
My thanks to Ms Lowe for allowing me the gift of listening to this book.
BOOK REVIEW
You are missing out if you have not read this authors books.
Once again Ms Lowe gives us another can’t put down book. From the first line till the end we get a fantastic read that has one thinking, what next?
Human hating Tiger shifter Cruz is flummoxed when his tiger won’t let him kill a human woman believed to be responsible for his families murder.
I loved how Cruz was honest right from the start about what he was doing at the party. Him slowly finding his way to a HEA with his tiger giving him advice all the way along was so good.
Jody is doing a modelling assignment, which she hates but she needs to money to help her dad and sister out.
When Cruz saves her from another attempt on her life things really start to speed up. We get Lion shifters and Vampires as the baddies to liven things up.
We really don’t have too many of the group in this one as they are all off doing other things. Silas even gets called away, so when everything comes to a head, it is left up to Cruz and Jody, with the help of the Waterstone to save the day.
Loved having the gang all together at the end and cannot wait for Silas’ story to be told.
One of my favourite things about this series is that these wonderful shifters have conversations with their animal halves too. It makes them seem more real and part of the whole story.
This is my honest review of this book.

Having read the book, I was really keen to listen to this in audible and it exceeded my expectations.
I have posted a review for this book as well which I will include at the end.
I was able to listen to the story and detach myself from the tediousness of packing up my house, this saved my sanity.
Hunters shyness really comes through in audible and I love his dialogue with his bear even more than in the book.
Dawn’s inner dialogue and slow realisation that Hunter was still the sweet, wonderful person she knew as a young girl comes through so well.
The descriptions of Maui are colourful and make you wish you were there.
I still find it difficult having one voice do all the characters and while Ms Osborne does a great job, even my husband picked up on it whilst listening in the car when the baddie was talking. Little differentiation between characters. This did give us a good discussion matter however.
If you have never read or listened to an Anna Lowe book and love PNR you are doing yourself a disservice by not grabbing any of her books.
BOOK REVIEW
Such a sweet, sweet story. Had a soft spot for Hunter from the beginning.
I believe due to the fact we have known Hunter and Dawn are destined mates from earlier books, this was a bit slow in getting off the ground as we rehashed certain knowledge. Good for new readers, vexing for us following the series.
Once past this point though the story once again carried you along for a great ride.
We have known Hunter and Dawn are mates since book one but Hunter is so painfully shy and tongue tied around Dawn. He is unsure of himself and even his bear due to past trauma.
Hunter and Dawn were friends and nearly a bit more in high school but Hunter took off and joined the forces.
Having outed himself as a shifter to Dawn to save her life, he is feeling depressed thinking she is frightened of him and his bear. His dialogue with his bear was really lovely.
Having to work security for their respective jobs at THE wedding of the century on the island gives them time to renew their friendship and for Dawn to relearn just what a big softie Hunter is where she is concerned. Hunter was just happy to be near Dawn.
Oh Hunter, how I wanted to just cuddle him once we learned about his past childhood horrors, how sad it was.
Dawn was a nice surprise as we knew so little about her apart from she loved to book the Koa Point shifters for speeding all the time. This made everything we learnt about her interesting. Even police officers have background stories, this is one very put together lady even with her past trauma.
Loved the wedding drama, talk about reality TV gone mad. Laugh out loud.
I also liked Dawn’s landlady Lily, what a hoot she was ogling all the men.
We have another Spirit Stone literally fall into our Koa Point shifters lap and didn’t it once again help vanquish the baddie. Loved that bit so much.
This is my honest review of this book.

BOOK REVIEW
Do yourself a big favour and read this series.
I loved book 1 but book 2 hits a home run for me.
We get to visit our lovely shifters again at beautiful Koa Point but minus the two dragons Silas and Kai and Tessa, Kai’s mate. They are off chasing the Spirit Stone Jewels so don’t play a big part in this story. They are not missed (much) as Boone, Hunter and Cruz step up to the mark and help a woman found washed up on their beach after someone attempts to murder her.
Boone is our Wolf hero and what a sweetie he was, so glad he was immune to Tammy’s web this time.
What a wonderful story that gripped me from the start and kept me guessing and reading as quickly as I could.
One part where Nina gets a letter had me in tears. NO spoilers.
Kramer and Mike both got what they deserved.
I love how the NO HUMANS rule is getting flouted with a new addition to this crew and cannot wait to read Hunter and Dawns story next.
This is my honest review of this book.
