When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.
The narrators really brought Kate and Miles to life. I felt like I knew them and could see this whole story unfolding in my head. I found myself cheering for Kate and Miles to get a happily ever after.
Once upon a time, a girl loved a boy and he loved her back. They lived happily ever after. But our story was never that simple. I loved Josh with all I had, right until the day he left. Now, all these years later, he was back - and wanting me the way I'd always longed for him. Except now, I belonged to someone else. Someone who never left me the way Josh had. I figured that was the end of our story. I couldn't alter the past. I didn't want to rewrite my future.
This is by far my favorite audio book (at least so far that I've listened too)! The narrators do an absolutely stunning job of bringing Brianna and Josh to life. Not only were the narrators fantastic but the story itself is an amazing best friends to lovers romance but also a fantastic story about second chances. I cheered for these two, hung my head and even teared up a bit. I highly recommend this book!
I fancy myself a purveyor of truth, a sifter of lies, a cutter of bullshit. It's not a gift, but rather all skill, honed to a razor's edge after one too many trips down the rabbit hole. Some may dismiss my talent as misguided cynicism, but they'd be wrong. Clichés about hope and faith in mankind are an effort to keep the dreamers dreaming. Experiences don't lie - people do. While I'm not proud of the circumstances that led me to this way of thinking, I respect the journey.
I read this entire series and am now listening to them and this is by far my favorite one. The narrators are perfect. They sound exactly as I imagined they would. Mark's snark is second to none. I laughed out loud and cried while listening to this book even though I had already read it.
WARNING: Highly prone to spontaneous fits of delirium, irrational logic, and violent, unpredictable mood swings. This individual has been sober, swollen, and hungry for the past nine months, so proceed with caution and handle with care. Anything said during the course of labor and delivery should not be taken seriously. Side effects may last up to 18 years. Please consult your physician should castration occur. And never forget, this is all your fault.
The narrators did a great job of making Henley, Jeff and Tara come to life. I could hear the conversations and see the characters having them. I laughed out loud several times at the humor in this book.

Promises are lies dressed up for the party. Secrets poison the fairest of fairy tales. Lies stain the purest of loves. I've paid the ultimate price for my choices. The tendrils of those sins bind me to my past. The remnants of my love hold me captive. Then he walks into my life, and makes me believe in second chances. He awakens feelings in me I know I shouldn't have. I yearn for a future without guilt. With him, I dream of a love untainted. Regret is a far-reaching emotion. It barrels through time like a blazing comet, and its path isn't always straight.
Oh my gosh the audio book is even better than reading it in my opinion (I did both)! This is such a great story with so much emotion and so many beautiful words, I just couldn't stop listening to it! The narrators did a fantastic job of bringing Celia and Cane to life!
Perfection. One word. Three syllables. Every reason why I'll never have the one thing I truly want. I stand dutifully on the pedestal he's built, waiting for the day he truly sees me. Then one amazing night, he lets down his walls, only to leave me the next day. Years have passed, and I've tried to move on with my life. But I still dream of him. I still miss him everyday. The memories haunt me. How can I look to the future when my past remains a mystery? The time has come to find the boy who stole my heart and ran away without a word.
I loved this audio book, the narrators did an excellwnt job of making Alex and West come alive! I was so emersed in this story. It's a great story with so much heart and emotion.
Today is the day; the day that the man I love marries someone else. I don't deserve pity or sympathy. I've made my bed. I left Mason and ripped his heart to pieces as I ran away. The guilt and sorrow consume me, threatening to choke me everyday. But today is a new beginning. Today is the day I will wake up with a renewed resolve and determination to do better...to be better...to be worthy. My name is Sara Preston, and this is my story about what happens after.
The narrator did an amazing job of bringing Sara and Adam to life! What a great all around story that is made even better by the narrator. You can't help but fall in love right along with Sara and Adam and cry with them as well.
Can the love of a lifetime be forever changed by one pink line? With heart, humor, and compassion, Dina Silver’s debut novel of love, loss, and family is certain to stir anyone who relishes a good laugh, can stand a good cry, and, above all, believes in the redemptive power of love. This unique, modern story gives listeners a dual perspective. Sydney, a sweet-tempered, strong-natured college senior, is young, in love with an exceptional man, and unexpectedly pregnant. Faced with a child she never planned for, she is forced to relay this news to her neurotic mother, relinquish her youth, and risk losing the love of her life. Then there’s Grace, her daughter, who believes she is a product of this great love, but grows to realize her existence is not what she assumed and is left with profound and puzzling questions about who she really is.
I absolutely loved this book. The story is a fresh new story and the duly points of view make it even better. One Pink Line was very well written and both of the narrators did a fantastic job of making all the characters come to life.
The last thing Kaylee wants to do is participate in a childish scavenger hunt - especially inside the abandoned retirement home on the edge of town. When she finds a bruised, deaf boy hiding inside one of the rooms, she vows to lead him to safety - only to discover the front doors are now padlocked, and her friends are nowhere to be found. Kaylee is about to learn that not everything that goes "bump in the night" is imaginary, and sometimes there are worse things to fear than ghosts.
I loved this story and Randi did a fantastic job narrating it. I was able to tell who was talking just by her voice. Resthaven is written very well and moves along at a great pace. I didn't want to stop listening until the story was over.
Disaster strikes North America, leaving people without the most basic amenities. Lana is taken from her home and forced to accept a world full of infected, violent beings. Life as humans know it is over, and in its place is a constant fear of death, paranoia, and savagery.
This is a very different type of story than I am use to reading, but it was really good. Taylor writes so well and with so much detail that you can't help but feel like you're right there with Lana, Jim, Gabe, Scarlet and the rest of the characters. It's extremely scary to think that this could maybe happen some day in the future. I strongly encourage you to read/listen to this one if you are looking for something different.
It took me a while to get use to this narrator, but by the end I thought she did well.
