The people of the Estes Valley have found their peace destroyed as they are attacked by the single greatest army left in the world. Not only do they have to contend with an army of men equipped with the latest hi-tech military gear, they also have to battle a horde of undead half a million strong. But, perhaps worse than all of this, they have to deal with a seven year old girl - Jillybean. Cruelly coerced into helping her enemies, Jillybean bends her mind to the destruction of the valley, the death of kings, and the loss of her own soul.

The Earth is under siege - and no one knows about it because the invaders erase those whom they consume. A handful of men and women stand on the border between the mundane and the magical. They have a special spark of soul - not quite enough to be naturally gifted in spellcraft but greater than the average person, a tiny flame that can ignite incredible potential. They possess the ability to fight back against the Vorid: the ability to become a Contractor.

If you love fantasy this book is a must listen. I never write reviews and I listen to two audio books a week. But after I listen to this book for the second time, I loved it even more.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II. With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt.

What did you love best about Hexed?

What I loved most about this awesome book? Everything!!! There is a lot of paegon beliefs to the storyline. But the writer gives an excellent none critical view of Christian beliefs also. Rarely is that the case in this catagory of book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The writer defiantly made Jesus my favorite character because of his honest approach to the Christian belief system. If you have studied Christianity at all you will notice the writer was excellently showed the Jesus character's point of view.
