Harry Potter has been heralded as one of the most popular book series of all time and the philosophical nature of Harry, Hermione, and Ron's quest to rid the world of its ultimate evil is one of the many things that make this series special. The Ultimate Harry Potter and Philosophy covers all seven titles in J.K. Rowling's groundbreaking series and takes fans back to Godric's Hollow to discuss life after death, to consider what moral reasoning drove Harry to choose death, and to debate whether Sirius Black is a man or a dog.

Not what I expected but interesting.
personally, I think this is more for auldts and not teens or children. The subject are deep and insightful but I think may go over a child/teen. Maybe a good into into philosophy for college.
I do think they could have mixed up the voice talent when the subject changed. it was not bad but it would have been a nicer mix.

Overall, it is more of book for people who like philosophy vs a Harry Potter fan.

Emma and Julian are right up there with the great couples of this world. Magnus and Alec, Jace and Clary, Simon and Isabelle, Tessa and Will/Jem. You will fall in love with them just as you have done with the others. Their love is more heartbreaking then Tessa and Will' s love. I can't wait to see how the story will go.
This story is teased a bit in other books. Please read the other books if you have not before this, or you will miss a lot of special moments in this book. I am so glad that Cassandra Clare continued their story.
Mark.... so perfect!!!
Also, I love that Juilian character and what he stands for. What he has done for his family, is amazing. I love that it is a boy/man who did this. Showing that men can raise families and take on this role. There are so many who do and yet it is still a stigma. Cassandra Clare does dare to Challenge.

You will love this book!!!

"A publisher in New York asked me to write down what I know about the Greek gods, and I was like, 'Can we do this anonymously?' Because I don't need the Olympians mad at me again. But if it helps you to know your Greek gods, and survive an encounter with them if they ever show up in your face, then I guess writing all this down will be my good deed for the week." So begins Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, in which the son of Poseidon adds his own magic - and sarcastic asides - to the classics.
