Frederick Douglass - cliff notes. Short introduction to who Fredrick Douglass was and how he worked to abolish slavery. Born a slave, taught himself how to read, did great things in his life. Very interesting, well written and the narrator did a good job. I would recommend this book if you just want an overview to his life.

Sun Tzu said: The art of war is of vital importance to the State. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected. The art of war, then, is governed by five constant factors, to be taken into account in one's deliberations, when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field. These are: (1) The Moral Law; (2) Heaven; (3) Earth; (4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline. The Moral Law causes the people to be in complete accord with their ruler, so that they will follow him regardless of their lives, undismayed by any danger.

This book was the 5th in the series and I find them all enjoyable and entertaining. I love the research that goes into these historical fiction books and that they're accurate. So far these time travelers all go back in time. I look forward to the next book in the series because I think that will change and we will get to see what John Heldt's future looks like. I'll be waiting.I agree with an earlier review that the narration was very good but I could have done without the "David said", "Claire said" etc. I too found this very distracting.
