Back on Earth, Sasha expected everything to go back to normal. But her old life no longer seems to fit, and her heart breaks daily for Thomas, the boy she left behind. Troubled by mysterious, often terrifying visions and the echoes of a self she was just beginning to discover, Sasha makes the difficult decision to journey once more through the tandem.
Just so everyone knows, there is no book 3. Anna Jarzeb wrote that her publisher decided not to publish it. She stated she hopes to write it and publish online someday.
The book Tether was excellent I am so disappointed we do not get an ending. it would certainly be worth her publisher to reconsider. The 1st 2 books were excellent but this leaves a great story totally unfinished and hanging.

When Casey first arrived at the off-the-grid town, an isolated community built as a haven for people running from their pasts, she had no idea what to expect, with no cell phones, no internet, no mail, and no way of getting in or out without the town council's approval. She certainly didn't expect to be the homicide detective on two separate cases or to begin a romantic relationship with her boss. But the very last thing she expected was for the council to drop a dangerous criminal into their midst without a plan to keep him imprisoned, and to keep others safe.
I want the next book!! This book was left completely hanging, it almost seems like it was so long they split it in half and rhis book was part 1.
This book was excellent, I read this in 1 day! There were a couple of parts wgich dragged a bit bc they were so descriptive, like when Casey was hanging off the rocks when trying to reach Val's body.
I cant express enough how much I am dying to jump into the next book, I want to know where the story is going!!
Fifteen years ago, I ran away from Whisper Hollow, Washington, a small town on Crescent Lake in the Olympic Peninsula. But truth is, if you were born here, you can never really leave. I'm Kerris Fellwater, and when I returned, I inherited my grandmother's house - and her gift. As a spirit shaman, it's my responsibility to drive the dead back to their graves because around Whisper Hollow, people - and secrets - don't always stay buried.
I loved this book! I read this book in just over a day. I went online and found there is 1 more in this "series" , it came out in 2016 so I hope audible plans to add it to thier store.
This story is about a spirit shaman and a town who takes care of the dead, but is being over run by an evil enemy.
I want the next book please!!
For years now, Scarlett Bernard has counted on two things: her ability to nullify magic, and Shadow, the bargest who guards Scarlett with her life. But after a sudden revelation turns Scarlett's world upside down, she panics and leaves town without warning, leaving Shadow with her partner, Jesse. In the chaos that follows, the bargest is stolen - and Jesse nearly dies from a brutal psychic assault. It seems that an old enemy has returned for revenge...and the attack on Shadow was only the beginning.
Another great Null book. I love M. Olson's book and now I cant wait for the next Scarlett book. This is one of her best!
The world is caught off guard by the sudden advances in technology, some are not happy about that at all. Bethany Anne's group needs to move into production, who is she going to hire for that position? Old enemies take a stronger stance at revenge than before. Helping others is a tall order, but TQB Rises to the occasion!
i started this series, which I totally lovED, bc it WAS a vampire/were story with a new twist. The last couple of books have been less vamp were than previously but still pretty good. This book, this is a computer space story that mentions vamp weres a couple of times. Michael Anderle, what are you doing?? i have bought and read every one in series and had planned to keep going but i can barely keep my mind intetested, i keep having my thoughts wandering on me, which only happens when a book does not keep your interest. I want my vampire Were story back, i even love the twist you added that they are another race from another galaxy I got into that story and wanted more but i dont want to hear about ship building and space station building and computer BUILDING etc. i havent finished the book im only half way thru and i can barely keep going. i will finish the story bc i keep hoping there will be a big shift somewhere bringing it back to what these stories were.
Does anyone else understand or agree with what I am saying??
Emily did another fabulous narration!
Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.
I look forward to the next book. Great start to a new series!! it will interesting to see if Sonja will turn out to be Zeb's mate.

A vampire aristocrat, Peyton is well aware of his duty to his bloodline: mate with an appropriate female of his class and carry on his family's traditions. And he thought he'd found his perfect match - until she fell in love with someone else. Yet when his split-second decision in a battle with the enemy endangers the life of another trainee, Peyton has to face the idea that his future, and his heart, actually lie with another.
I really enjoyed this book as I do with all the BDB Books but the ending was too abrupt. The story was going along at a good pace and then BAM she just wraps everything up and ends it.
The story seemed like it should have been another hour or so going more into Run and Saxton now that they are truly together and found out about the house, as well as more about the property developer and his people. I want to know if Novo and Peyton get mated/bounded and what happened to Rowena, is she ok, what was the deal with the money for the mating? too many loose ends left. Sophie didnt say anything to Novo about the wedding, Peyton, Oscar etc!! loose ends!!
oh and wtf was that 1 line re Wrath and Beth expecting a 2nd child! The band of bastards, leila, where were they??
Gwen Proctor won the battle to save her kids from her ex-husband, serial killer Melvin Royal, and his league of psychotic accomplices. But the war isn't over. Not since Melvin broke out of prison. Not since she received a chilling text... You're not safe anywhere now. Her refuge at Stillhouse Lake has be-come a trap. Gwen leaves her children in the protective custody of a fortified, well-armed neighbor. Now, with the help of Sam Cade, brother of one of Melvin's victims, Gwen is going hunting.
I really liked the 1st book but this one was just as good if not better. my only complaint, for lack of a better word, is that I would have liked her to explore Connor and Lanni further, esp Connor. She opened up a lot of issues with the kids but kind of left them there. Even if it was Just a few more conversations between each child and Gwen or Sam after Melvin was gone. But again, that was minor, the story had me on the edge of my seat when everything came together.
Definitely worth the money or credit, I highly recommend! Rachel Caine is one of my FAVORITE authors and her books vary widely in subject matter. She is an amazingly versatile author. The narrator was very good also except for Havi's voice, she made him sound Russian not Spanish!!
Great Book, I look forward to more of her work.
Once a broken girl known as Sorrow, Holly Chang now prowls the shadowy gray underground of the city for the angels. But it's not her winged allies who make her a wanted woman - it's the unknown power coursing through her veins. Brutalized by an insane archangel, she was left with the bloodlust of a vampire, the ability to mesmerize her prey, and a poisonous bite. Now, someone has put a bounty on her head....
Another fabulous Nalini Singh book, this is by far one of my favorite series. I am never disappointed when another is this series is released. i could listen to multiple new books from this series in a row without getting bored. i look forward to more about Elena & Raphael but i also love getting to know those close to both of them.
i do wish she would add a section that reviews each character, a glossary of sorts , even in the audible books. i do find when a 6mo or a year has gone by i sometimes confuse characters or forget many important specifics about them. That is my only complaint, for lack of a better word, of this series!!!
Definitely worth the credit or money.
With her ex now in prison, Gwen has finally found refuge in a new home on remote Stillhouse Lake. Though still the target of stalkers and Internet trolls who think she had something to do with her husband's crimes, Gwen dares to think her kids can finally grow up in peace. But just when she's starting to feel at ease in her new identity, a body turns up in the lake - and threatening letters start arriving from an all-too-familiar address.
I am only 1/3 of the way thru this book and I have to say it is excellent. i have found Rachel Caine to be one of my favorite authors, i am rarely disappointed with her books.
So unless this story takes a crazy dramatic turn for the worst, I have to recommend it highly. If my opinion changes drastically I will edit my review.
I can imagine what Gwen/Gina is trying to deal with and keep her children safe and SANE due to her ex husband. It makes you take an odd look at the spouse and family of a serial killer and what thier lives and daily living might be like if they were innocent and ignorant of what the serial killer had been doing. i cant imagine the conflicted feelings of love and hate for the child of a serial killer, esp if said killer was a good parent or able to pretend to be so it is all the children would know. As a daughter and a parent my self I cant imagine what it would be like living with this.
Definitely worth the credit or cost.
