As a boy, Abyssian "Sian" Infernas had his heart shattered by a treacherous fey beauty who died before he could exact vengeance. Millennia later, a curse has transformed him into a demonic monster - just as she's been reincarnated. Sian captures the delicate but bold female, forcing her back to hell.
This is one of my favourites in the "immortals after dark" series. Great listen, worth every minute.
Their union became pivotal in Irin history, but to understand Damien and Sari's ending, you must go back to their beginning. Four hundred years ago, a young singer and a hardened warrior met and loved each other, but their life was torn apart by violence. But no matter how much pain and anger stain their lives, bonds in the Irin race cannot be abandoned. Damien and Sari will never truly leave each other, because those who are destined cannot be ignored.
Although, I was bummed the fourth story was not continued using narrator Zachary Webber, Jay did a really good job. I was glad to get the history on the lives of Damien and Sari. Heartbreaking at times, but hopeful for love separated... In the first three books, the reader was aware that there was a long, sad history between the two. Glad to understand it now. These chronicles can shed light on many different stories, emphasis on the fallen angel lives, greggory defectors etc. I'm excited to see what Elizabeth Hunter has up her sleeves, in future books of the Irin chronicles! I'll be waiting 😀

I'm Ash Evans. The life of the party. Hot. Rich. Charismatic. A tattooed rock star with the world at my feet. I burn through women faster than the strike of a match. I've embraced my lifestyle and live it to the fullest. Until the day my lifestyle caught up to me. Willow Langston found me at my lowest. Literally. Facedown in a puddle of my own blood. I owe her my life and I have three months to repay that debt. What I never should have done was touch her. Kiss her. Take her to my bed. Love wasn't supposed to be a part of the equation.
You can never go wrong with narrator's Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber. They tell the tale so well. But this book is very touching! I enjoyed it very much. First book I read by A.L. Jackson, and since I liked it so much, I will be excited to read more stories from author.
Abused and rejected, Benella strives to regain a purpose for her life, and finds herself returning to the last place she ever wanted to see. She must learn when it is right to forgive and when it is time to move on.
Narration was good, story frustrating. Tried to push my way through the first two books, but the main female character was so irritating I could not finish the trilogy. I get the whole innocent girl character, and that has seen some sexually bad stuff , but hours upon hours of this inner conflict she has and displays to the main male character makes me sick of her. Not to mention that although he's not perfect, she acts hot and cold with him and messes up the chemistry that they could have found much earlier in the book. Truly had potential, but lost my interest. Shame.
When you've lost everything you love, how do you fight the darkness? Ava left Istanbul with a new identity, new name, and new magic she could barely control. Laid low by Malachi's sacrifice, she searches for help from the fabled Irina. But will the secretive women of the Irin race welcome or shun her? Ava's origins are still a mystery, and her powers are darker than any they've encountered before. The Irin world hangs in the balance.
Such a great book. Perfect fantasy world of fallen angels and the Irin/ Irinia... Excited to finish last book. Thanks, Zachary Webber for being such a great narrator.
Hidden at the crossroads of the world, an ancient race battles to protect humanity, even as it dies from within. Ava Matheson came to Istanbul looking for answers, but others came looking for her. A reckless warrior guards her steps, but will Malachi's own past blind him to the truth of who Ava might be? While ancient forces gather around them, both Ava and Malachi search for answers. Whispering voices. Deadly touch. Their passion should be impossible... or it could be the only thing that will keep them alive.
This first book was really good, love the story line dealing with fallen angels, descendants and conflict. Excited for the next. Zachary Webber is always great narrating a story, and I really enjoyed this one...
For thousands of years, the scribes and singers of the Irin race have existed to protect humanity and guard the gifts of the Forgiven. They have lived in the shadows. They have kept their secrets. But the Irin aren't the only race with secrets.
This Third book in the trilogy was just as good as the first two. As usual, I choose many audiobooks in which Zachary Webber narrates. He has that gift of separating voice characters really well (male/female) and bringing you into that special world of story with him. I love his voice.
An immortal warrior must decide between loyalty to his people and desire for a beautiful Breed female determined to bring a powerful enemy to justice at any cost in this new novel in best-selling author Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed vampire romance series.
Cannot wait for "Midnight Unbound" to come out! Totally hooked on the midnight breed series... Hillary Huber is perfect for these books. Having bought and listened to them all, I cannot imagine someone else telling these stories!

Once, they lived in secret alongside mankind. Now, emerged from the shadows, the Breed faces enemies on both sides - human and vampire alike. No one knows that better than Lazaro Archer, one of the eldest, most powerful of his kind. His beloved Breedmate and family massacred by a madman 20 years ago, Lazaro refuses to open his heart again.
Another great midnight breed book from Lara. As usual, Hilary Huber rocks another perfect story. Glad she continues to narrate this series...
At 18, Corinne Bishop was living a life of privilege as the adopted daughter of a wealthy family. Her world changed in an instant when she was stolen away by the malevolent vampire Dragos. After many years of captivity and torment, Corinne is rescued by the Order, a cadre of vampire warriors embroiled in a war against Dragos and his followers. Her innocence taken, Corinne has lost a piece of her heart as well. But assigned to safeguard her on her trip home is a formidable golden-eyed Breed male called Hunter.
Each of these books are very good, and keep getting better! Hillary is so good, I am very glad she performed the whole series.
