John Charles Ryle’s best known works have been reissued and widely read over many years. The fine qualities of his writings have ensured that his books are still popular and useful. This volume has become a classic work and is known and loved by many throughout the world. In days when evangelical preachers are accused of being either superficial or dull, we have here a great example of one who was neither of these things. As Bishop Ryle applies his texts, the listener will find his soul examined.
What a convicting book. We are called to be holy. This book will help you with that. Using the Scriptures and applying them to your life is key to working out your own salvation with fear and trembling. What a great price Christ paid at the cross. We should be striving every day to be more like Christ.
Jesus Christ did not die on the cross so you and I could have a nice day. Ministers and teachers who water down the Gospel of Christ in order to make it more popular and appealing may be leading their fun-loving audiences down the road to eternal punishment. This book is John MacArthur's unflinching, unapologetic treatise on the modern tendency to alter the true message of Christianity in order to meet the whims and desires of a culture hoping for nonconfrontational messages, easy answers, and superficial commitments.
I view myself as a simple person and John MacArthur has a way of breaking things down that resonate with my heart. I always knew if I was to follow Jesus I would have to give everything up. I would have to get baptized, lose a lot of my so-called friends and even talk to people about Jesus. It’s all worth it and even through trials and dealing with my past sin God is faithful. John MacArthur talks about the true God in this book and I am so thankful God chose me before the foundations of the world! Thank you John MacArthur for your ministry!!!

Phillip Keller's unique perspective on the beloved psalm is a genuine classic about how a real-life shepherd views the love Jesus the Shepherd has for his flock. His inspirational insights come from his firsthand experiences in developing and managing sheep ranches.
Awesome to hear Psalm 23 broken down almost word by word and how we all as sheep depend on the shepherd. The narrator did a fantastic job and he has a great voice for reading books. Highly recommend this book.
Right now, Truth is under attack, and much is at stake. Christians are caught in the crossfire of alternative Christian histories, emerging faulty texts, and a cultural push to eliminate absolute Truth altogether. As a result, many churches and Christians have been deceived. Worse still, they propagate the deception that poses itself as Truth!
John MacArthur has such a way of breaking down God’s word in dealing with certain things that the Church is going through. He brings every word of God to life letting you know what the Holy Spirit was telling the writers as they pen the holy Scriptures. Thank you John MacArthur!!!! This book will help you understand what kind of church you need to be in.
In a world increasingly indifferent to Christian truth, followers of Christ need to be equipped to communicate with those who do not speak their language or accept their source of authority. Gregory Koukl demonstrates how to get in the driver’s seat, keeping any conversation moving with thoughtful, artful diplomacy. You’ll learn how to maneuver comfortably and graciously through the minefields, stop challengers in their tracks, turn the tables and—most importantly—get people thinking about Jesus.
Very simple book that shares many things we will encounter while sharing your faith and evangelizing. I got this book on the recommendation of the comfort zone. 👍🏻👍🏻 I would recommend this for all Christians especially those that are not actively pursuing others for the kingdom of God. This book will help you get out of your comfort zone.
The co-hosts of The Way of the Master TV series and radio program, Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort offer this simple and flexible curriculum for churches and small groups who want to obey the Bible’s command to tell others about Jesus. Kirk and Ray guide participants step-by-step through their straightforward method of evangelism, made popular through their award-winning show.
I can’t tell you how much living waters ministry has helped to encourage me to get out of my shell. This was a great book to boost my confidence to fulfill the great commission. I downloaded every comfort zone episode on podcast and almost finished everyone of them. I just downloaded season 1 of on the box. This past Halloween was the first one my family and I handed out gospel tracts. I now carry gospel tracts with me at work and hand them out. I even bought some Spanish ones to hand out to many of the people I see on my route even though I do not speak Spanish. I recently gave a tracts to a guy on my route that is gay. I’ve talk to many times, prayed and even gave him a Bible. It’s been over 3 1/2 years and and nothing has changed. I gave him a cell phone tracts and two weeks later he approach me in my garbage truck and said after reading it that the Holy Spirit did something to his heart. He said he was tearing up just talking to me about it and he would tell me more later because he felt like crying right there. Praise God! Thank you Ray EZ Kirk and everyone part of living waters.
Tony believes that God wants every man to be a world changer. He skillfully takes listeners along a journey through the principles of biblical manhood, exploring how those who live, work, and minister around a kingdom man benefit from his leadership and care. Men will be challenged to fully understand their positions under God as well as their positions over what God has given them.
Tony Evans really puts it into perspective on what we are to be as Kingdom man. I would encourage every man to listen to this book and apply God’s word to their life. Tony Evans did a great job reading And kept my attention throughout the whole book.

This thoughtful book provides cultural analysis, probes some of the most important turning-points of biblical theology, describes the experiences of those who are proving fruitful in contemporary evangelism, and exposes readers to those who are thinking hard both strategically and practically about reaching the postmodern world.
I like hearing from different peoples perspectives and different aspects of evangelizing. There’s definitely a lot to take in. overall I feel this will help with evangelizing every day.

We live in a society that has largely abandoned moral standards and Christian principles. Unkept campaign promises, false advertising, exaggerated tax exemptions, employee theft - compromise has become a way of life. Such moral concession has even invaded the church. Faced with an opportunity to proclaim Christ to unbelievers, we feel intimidated and keep silent. Or we water down God's word on ethical issues at work or in our community to avoid rejection. Too often we prefer hypocrisy to integrity.
What an incredible book to help me understand to never compromise with the word of God. If you want God's blessing in your life , Live your life with integrity!
In the tumultuous and rapidly changing climate of the 15th century, John Huss of Bohemia made a greater impact on Europe and the Christian church than any other man. With his abstract view of the scriptures and his confrontational relationship with the Church, he shook the world in his day like no other.
I learned about the pre-Reformation, how Huss inspired Martin Luther and the heresy of the Catholic Church and so much more. This book sat in my wish list ever since I heard John MacArthur talk about John Huss. I can't believe I waited so long to download this book absolutely incredible!!
