We Can Do Hard Things

By: Glennon Doyle and Audacy
  • Summary

  • Life is freaking hard. We are all doing hard things every single day – things like loving and losing; caring for children and parents; forging and ending friendships; battling addiction, illness, and loneliness; struggling in our jobs, our marriages, and our divorces; setting boundaries; and fighting for equality, purpose, freedom, joy, and peace. On We Can Do Hard Things, Glennon Doyle, author of UNTAMED; her wife Abby Wambach; and her sister Amanda Doyle do the only thing they’ve found that has ever made life easier: Drop the fake and talk honestly about the hard things including sex, gender, parenting, blended families, bodies, anxiety, addiction, justice, boundaries, fun, quitting, overwhelm . . . all of it. We laugh and cry and help each other carry the hard so we can all live a little bit lighter and braver, free-er, less alone.

Yes, please...sign me up!

I love this episode, and I am willing and ready to sign up for your event and agree to all of your terms. I also agree with you about the texting, so we could definitely be friends. When you work out the details, keep me in mind :)...doesn't matter if it is during this year, this decade, or this lifetime;)...and of course in a completely normal and non stalkerish way!

New Fav Podcast

I fell in love with G when listening to Untamed on audible. It was life changing truly. When I heard she was making a podcast with her sister I was excited and it has not disappointed. I could listen to them talk all day. And her daughter's song is so sweet (brings a little tear to my eye everytime). Thank you for sharing yourselves and time!!

I am so impressed by the “realness”, honesty and vulnerability of their podcasts. So relatable! I want to share with those I care for after listening. Always learning with an open mind…..it fills my head and heart on early wake ups or sleepless nights. Oh….and Tish singing is so sweet. Keep them coming please. One of your biggest fans ladies. I love how gentle this podcast allows you to be

I loved the bit about Glennon's sister speaking openly and honestly about her neurodevergent son. obvi im the mom of an amazimg nd son myself and to hear someone articulate what its like was absolutely amazing and helped me to realize I need help with it and that's ok, not failing as his mom blah blah blah...anyway, Loved this!
