Obsessed with this PNR series!

Mateo is a werewolf who hasn’t been able to shift into his wolf form, Alpha, for 3 months. Alpha has taken up residence in Mateo’s head, driving him nuts day and night with all his thoughts. Mateo hears about a hex-breaking witch and that is how he meets Eveleen “Evie”. Evie Savoie and her sisters are all witches who have individual talents to help supernaturals in need. Their role is to keep the peace among supernaturals in New Orleans, where their family has ruled as head coven for 3 generations. When Mateo shows up at The Cauldron, a bar the sisters co-own, Evie immediately informs him they don’t help werewolves but because of his pleading with her and a sense she gets, she decides to help him. Mateo quickly notices with Evie around, his inner wolf Alpha is a lot calmer and quieter and he compromises with Evie to spend 4 hours a day together so he can actually get some work done with a quieter headspace.

I loved that Mateo and Evie become friends and their forced proximity/hanging out every day really helped them bond. I loved all the artists and art talk in here, Mateo is a metalwork artist who has a gallery and does a lot of sculptures and Evie is a major comic book fan who is secretly working on her own comic book art. Evie’s fandom love for comic books, Star Wars, and Reylo was so fun. I loved that her style is reflective of that too in her quirky, fun tees every day. And of course Mateo and Alpha, the personalities definitely feel like their own characters…Mateo is sweet and caring to Evie and Alpha is possessive and carnal, but also just wants to care for Evie. I loved both sides! I’m obsessed with the Savoie sisters and cannot wait to read more of this series now because I need all of their HEAs too!

A little bit of The Originals with a little Venom

I related to Evie. Sans magical and artistic abilities. But our nerd matches.

This book is sweet, funny, and hot. I came across it while searching Snow's list of works and it was absolutely worth it.

I love the sisterhood, Alpha's commentary, and a paranormal world that is just a little more relatable than some of the other's I've enjoyed.

This a good book, definitely did not disappoint!!!!

I got this book first and foremost because of Aiden Snow(swoon)!!! I swear he can make the phone book sound good!!!! This book was interesting it caught my attention from page one. I absolutely LOVED Alpha!!! He was hilarious!!!! I loved the mystery, intrigue and build up, I’m not going to be a spoiler, just know the reviews are spot on. It’s definitely worth the credit. Now I’m off to see what’s next in this series!!!!!

My Favorite Series on Audio!

I will reread this series a hundred times more! It is clever and whitty and steamy and beautiful. I love the Savoie sisters SO much. Returning to them and hanging with Alpha and Matteo and Evie is a great way to spend the day.

The narrators make it so enjoyable and I look forward to listening to many more by this pairing. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

A friend told me I had to read this, and then said I needed to listen to the audiobook. Oh man was she correct. I laughed so much and I adore Alpha. This book and the audiobook were amazing the narrators did such a great job

EVIE AND MATEO..........

THIS IS A FABULOUS STORY FROM JULIETTE CROSS! THE MONOLOGUE BETWEEN MATEO AND HIS INNER WOLF ALPHA WAS VERY ENTERTAINING. THE BUILD OF TRUST AND LOVE BETWEEN MATEO AND EVIE IS BEAUTIFUL. THE TRUE IDENTITY OF THE EVIL WITCH THAT PUT THE SPELL ON MATEO WAS SUPRISING. LOVED THIS!!!!

The narration of this story was so so so good. The vibes were on par with contemporary romance sibling standalone series but make it paranormal since there’s witches, vampires, werewolves, etc in this world. I love how easy and quick of a read this was and it had just the right amount of spice.

Amazing slow burn paranormal romance

This was definitely a five-star read for me. I couldn't put this book down. As a lover of paranormal romance this book ticks all my boxes. Mateo and Evie develop a believable slow burn romance. When the romance starts it's steamy.🌶️🌶️🌶️ .Amazing story and character development. I enjoyed the setting in New Orleans. It makes me want to visit and find a Mateo of my own.

Fun geeky paranormal romance

I thought this was a really cute fun listen. I liked the main character Evie was a comic book fan and into Star Wars.
I thought it was nice that they developed their relationship over time. I know it's a series so I can see them setting up different characters to build their world. this is nice if you want something a little bit shorter.
I enjoyed the narrators.
