Publisher's summary

Ever feel like you’re being watched?

It’s an awareness so familiar I adapted to it long ago. Then I enrolled at Westbrook University to chase my dream and make up for someone else’s lost one.

The prying eyes I’d known almost since birth... They closed.

Even still, I never got too close. I made friends with everyone but confided in no one. My dates were carefully chosen, meaning I went out with guys I didn’t really like.

And then I was attacked.

I slept in Jamie’s bed while he stayed near me on the floor. He gave me his number, told me to call. Oh, I wanted to call. But I didn’t.

Now those invisible, observant eyes that always seemed familiar have returned. But this time? They chill me to the bone.

Someone is watching. Lurking. And it’s only a matter of time until whoever is out there does more than stare.

The only place I feel truly safe is wrapped in the massive wingspan of an Elite swimmer. The very man I know I need to avoid. But as shit goes down, it becomes clear I’m going to have to surrender something....

My heart or my life.

Please note that Wingspan contains mentions of domestic abuse and suicide. There is also present danger and stalking. These situations may be triggering for some listeners.

Really loved this story 😍😍😍

So I enjoyed book 1 of this series of interconnected standalone but boy did I love book 2 more! I thought I was going to be annoyed with all the bro’s but the author didnt overdo it this time and the deliveries by the narrations was amazing. I couldnt stop listening to this audiobook, I wanted to stay in this world for a long time, and I am dying for the next book to be in audio because the tension between the 2 characters is SO GOOOD!!!!

Ok back to Jamie and Madison’s love story! I really enjoyed this gripping storyline. This author reeled me in with Wet and that baddie but this one felt even more suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat. I needed to know what was going on, I thought I had it narrowed down to the right character and I didnt see one of the twists that came from left field. When it all came together in the culmination at the end, it was so brilliant and I appreciated what the author did. I couldnt believe I could fall for Jamie after how much he felt like an airhead frat boy in book 1. Boy as I wrong. This possessive feelings and his protectiveness were swoon worthy (not that I like men being controlling of women, but with how he handled things and apologized when he overstepped was adorable to me). He definitely has to be added to my book boyfriend list. I loved his good girls I realized I had a praise kink after a couple books, this one being one. I appreciated he wasn’t a complete Dom, but he had some of the best tendencies of them haha. Madison was a great MC and I fell for her so badly, I wanted to be her bestie haha. I was part of theater in high school in stage crew so the theater part brought back memories which were great. I loved her resilience but she is so broken and Jamie helps give her the space and love to put herself back together after she has to fall apart. The steam and love in this one were fabulous and perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. We had some awesome cameos and we get a lot of Ryan and Rory airtime which was fun (and Wes and Max....boy their tension ripples through the pages/bleeds through the speakers!). I think so of my favorite scenes were when Madison meets Jamie’s mom, Jamie going shopping, and how they all interact at the salon and at the end at the party. Really enjoyed this, will be picking this up in paperback at some point because it will stick with me for a long time.

The narration was fantastic. I felt all the hurt and trauma, and the fear, all the tension and angst. The characters were coming off the page with the narrators bringing them to life and putting on great performances. I really don’t have anything that stands out to me to critique and that is saying something haha. FYI I do listen usually 1.5-1.65X speed. I have enjoyed the female narrator with some recent listens and this is the first time I have listened to the male narrator. I definitely will be listening to them again, I enjoyed their intonations, their accents, the feelings they portrayed and highlighted. I think the best example was Madison when she discovers what happened in her room and the aftermath. My heart ached for her but swooned over Jamie and their friends so much ❤️

Storyline was good

I like this series but I hate the fact that the heroine is so weak. I was so looking forward to this book. She started strong but as time goes by she’s very weak. Love the faithfulness hero. He never waiver. Cecily and Devon did an excellent job at narrating

Heart pounding story

This is the second book I've read/listened to by Cambria Hebert. She is a great author who writes well, entertaining us with great storylines and wonderful characters. I was once again engaged in the story immediately and didn't want to pause for interruptions. I listened until late night so I could finish the audiobook. Jamie made me laugh. Those boys could put food away! Madison's story is heartbreaking and scary. Jamie was so patient and sweet even with his caveman tendency. The friendships continue to grow and make me smile. I'm ready for next book!

Devon Ryder and Cecily Foster are excellent narrators. They brought the audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Loved their voices.

Wingspan

Well, shoot, talk about a plot twist. Not only was the kid her tormentor but also her brother. talk about a mind F$&%. Man, the poor girl has been fighting for her life since she was a kid. that's crazy. it did take me a while to put 2&2 together lol. but I have to admit that the ending made this book so much better. I really liked this book very much and the narrators did such an amazing job too.

Love These Two!

5/5 ⭐

5/5 🎧

Another great installment in the Westbrook Elite series. We get darker, sweeter and even more possessive and it was so perfectly put together. I knew I was going to love Jamie and Mads' story, they were just so stinking cute together in Wet, the first book in this series.

I absolutely loved Devon Ryder and Cecily Foster too. Both of them did such an amazing job narrating this story and I could listen to them again and again and again. I thought they both fit the roles so well. And production was great too.

I really loved the storyline in Wingspan. You could tell Mads was a little timid and paranoid, but trying her best in Wet, but we didn't know why... After a bit we start to understand and then after some dangerous run ins, we get the full picture. This poor girl has been through so much in her first twenty years and the fact that she's still standing is such a testament to her strength. Jamie was so good for her too. He was a little over protective at times, but with just cause. I think Cambria just really likes that role for her male leads, I think we're getting Max and Wes' story soon and Max is already that way and those two aren't even dating yet.

I'm so excited for the audio of Wish to release, I'll be starting it on release day because I can't wait to see what's next for these Westbrook Elite boys.

intense

This story had me in the edge of my seat . It is intense, suspenseful, thrilling, full of danger, revenge, anxiety, and lies.
Madison has the feeling that she is being watched. Jamie is overprotective of her. All he wants to do keep her safe.
Cambria Hebert writes angst at its best. jealousy, sports, danger, twists, tand finding love. She builds the intensity and drama from the beginning. Very well done.
Cecily Foster and Devon Ryder narration captures the intensity and emotions of all the characters. They are amazing storytellers, making the characters so real. Thank you for making it a wonderful listen.

Good book

It was a good book, however what got annoying was the use of the same phrases and situations from book one. The whole “good girl” thing got old. And then they have sex and she becomes addicted immediately and they have to do it anywhere. It’s all good but I feel like the author could have done more differently instead of rinse and repeat. Currently reading the next book since it’s not on audible and we have started with “good boy” and sex addiction.

Kept me on the edge of my seat

This was truly a mind teaser. In the last book, we thought they got the bad guy. And they kinda did. But we find out in this book that there is another bad guy in the picture. And the relationships that are revealed in this book are years long secrets. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat to see what happens next. My goodness, I couldn't wait to see what the next mystery in this book was. When "Romeo" turns out to be Dr Jekyl/Mr Hyde, it was a major surprise. Especially why. And let's not forget the rest of the gang, especially Wes and Max. What is up with these two? Are they or aren't they? The answer remains to be seen.

Cecily Foster and Devon Ryder are both new narrators for me. I was surprised at how good of a male voice Cecily Foster has. I loved her take on Jamie and the manic-ness of "Romeo". Devon Ryder creates different personas for Jamie, Wes, Ryan and Max.
