This book is a collection of poems and musings written in a style of love notes intended to be offered to your person. Romantic and tender, this collection is for people who love love, whether it's something you're in, or something you want to be.
Love isn't found, like a surprise twenty-dollar bill found in your jeans pocket coming out of the laundry. It is something that grows and requires effort, patience, and a little bit of poetry for inspiration.
How do we find real, life-affirming love?
Excellent question, faithful listener.
First, you must start with a willingness to risk it all—perhaps again—for the chance to get there. Be open to look at things differently, because your previous perceptions have been colored by expectations. Be curious. Look at the seams that hold the fabric together as they are the truth behind any beautiful pattern.
Show yourself, your true self, at whatever pace makes you feel safe. Safety leads to real and deliberate vulnerability. Accept the totality of you, share its beauty, and offer the same acceptance to them. You don't find love, you ARE love.
Willingness. Openness. Curiosity. Safety. Vulnerability. Acceptance. Trust.
These make up the foundation. Yes, this asks so much of you. But it is the only way. This is where love meets love. This is how you create home. These poems, they are the musings of love.
Inspired and from the heart, rooted in the wonder of discovery and the joy of expression.

The absolute beauty and emotion of each piece.
