I wasn't expecting this book to be so steamy...

I really enjoyed the story and wanted to know what would happen next. I was left with some unanswered questions about Alicia and the spell that would be placed on the readers. I'm assuming it all worked out, but I felt like the ending was incomplete. I think I just wanted more time in this world with these characters.

Easy listening with a few steamy parts. Enjoyed the descriptions of places; you can really picture it. Overall it was okay, not the best, but I’m glad I listened to it.

I absolutely loved it! I hope there are more books to tell the prima’s story.

Romance Story filled with Sensual Delights

Feel good book, excellent narrator

The book was kind of predictable, but still a very enjoyable story. Definitely a feel good read/listen.

Liked the concept but it fell short

The concept of this book was great and I was really enjoying it but then things got slow and whiney. There was also a plot point that was left unresolved! Also, this narrator was sooooo sloooow. Had to speed up the audio to make her read at a normal pace.

beautiful story

The description of the little town in Mexico makes you want to visit and see this glorious flower farm! The family represents unconditional love and acceptance. I was very sad when it ended.

Just loved this book

I rally loved this book. The performance was really outstanding. Great story. Looking for more from this author and narrator.

Thousands of stories!

I suppose it's not fair to compare this story to the (of the same nature) hundreds of stories I've read in the past 65 years. But what else can I compare this novel to?

First of all, this was an entertaining novel. Secondly, and probably most importantly, the author writes very well. So where did it loose it's appeal to me? I believe it it was the technical. As I read the author's description of love, scenery, etc., etc., all I could think of was the toucan (bird). The description of everything, the physical passion, the clothing, the scenery, the familial love, the flowers, blah, blah, was so over the top! The story was entertaining but the ad nauseam description of everything became a filler of words...extending a 4 chapter book to a 24 chapter book.
