USA Today best-selling author Claudia Burgoa brings an enemies-to-lovers romance where the billionaire grump can’t help but fall for Ms. Sunshine.

I never thought I’d be the proud owner of a quaint small-town bookstore, but life has a funny way of surprising us. With my virtual BFF’s encouragement to seize the day and follow my heart.

I say goodbye to my corporate job and say hello to my new adventure.

Until I meet the town’s grumpy billionaire, Huxley Spearman.

He’s every woman’s dream.

Tall, devastatingly handsome…but annoyingly arrogant. And if making a new enemy isn’t enough, there’s more: My long-lost mother might be alive.

This bookstore is the money pit.

My checking account is in shambles.

My online friend wants to be more than my virtual crush.

And, somehow, I‘m falling for two different men. Can love truly grow from a virtual connection? Or will a rough-around-the-edges man steal my heart?

This is a heartwarming tale of love, second chances, and a twist of the unexpected. In this spiritual successor to You Got Mail and Pillow Talk.

in love with all things Paradise Bay!!

🅰🆄🅳🅸🅾🅱🅾🅾🅺 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆

Claudia Burgoa knows how to perfectly draw out her characters' HEA!

Huxley and Enid are on line gaming buddies who both have feelings for each other. Unbeknownst to them both, they are about to drop into each others real life, and the sparks do fly!

Hate to love, small town romance in the Paradise Bay world that I love so much. This is a cute updated twist of You've Got Mail!

Claudia creates entire worlds I want to be a part of!

Narration by the uber talented Chris Brinkley and Stephanie Nemeth Parker.

A stellar listen

Meant for Me came at just the right time for me with its wit and humor. Of course, there's plenty of emotion too, but if you're familiar with Claudia Burgoa, you already know how well she does what she does. This one takes us back to Paradise Bay for Huxley and Enid, and I absolutely love this pair. The blurb sums it up pretty well with the word heartwarming. I don't want to get too far into the whys and hows, but this one definitely warms the heart. Huxley and Enid have an almost enemies-to-lovers romance, at least in the beginning, but they don't stay enemies for long. He does drive Enid to distraction, which makes for some fun and sometimes sexy scenes. We also get to visit with some of the Spearman family, which is always nice. This is one of my favorite book families, so I always enjoy catching up with them.
What it all comes down to is Meant for Me is a thoroughly charming romance with Claudia Burgoa's talent for well-timed wit mixed with feels. In the case of this one, if you enjoyed "You've Got Mail," I'd recommend giving Huxley and Enid's romance a shot. Honestly, I'd recommend it with or without the reference to a fun and entertaining RomCom.
And how do you make an already excellent story even better? Put it in the ever-capable hands of Stephanie Németh-Parker and Chris Brinkley for the narration. I was already familiar with both narrators, so I knew I'd enjoy the listen, which I certainly did. From the humor to the emotion of the story, Stephanie Németh-Parker and Chris Brinkley capture all of it. I'd already read the book, so I knew what was going to happen, yet these two made it feel fresh and new. A stellar listen of an equally stellar story.

Loved Enid and Huxley!

Swoon! Meant for Me by Claudia Burgoa was a feel-good-make-your-heart-so-happy romance that had me grinning and swooning over Huxley and Enid from start to finish. This book gave off all the "You've Got Mail" along with second-chance vibes, and I loved the journey these two took to finally find their very own HEA. This is book 6 in Claudia's Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series but could be listened to as a stand-alone.

Chris Brinkley and Stephanie Nemeth Parker narrate this audiobook, and this is the first time I've heard these two paired together. Chris was downright swoony portraying the broody, introverted Huxley. Chris's deep crooning tone captured Huxley's grumpy then charismatic persona perfectly. Stephanie added a soft vulnerability to her tone in her performance of Enid, who was on her own mission to discover the truths about her past and start fresh in Paradise Bay. Plus, both narrators brought the heat with Enid and Huxley's undeniable attraction!

Overall, I loved this book. If you are a fan of an enemies-to-lovers romance with a hot grumpy billionaire, a heroine who inherits a bookstore, a small town, fish out of the water, rivals who allies, front yard spicy times, a love story happening online and in real life, secret identities, family history, and a HEA that was definitely meant to be, then you will love Enid and Huxley's story. I always look forward to more from Claudia Burgoa.

Wonderful, witty, heartwarming, sizzling romance!

Meant For Me is a witty, heartwarming, and sizzling, enemies-to-lovers romance that will capture your heart. Enid is following her dream after finding out about a long lost grandmother who left her a bookstore when she passed. Enid moves to the charming small town of Paradise Bay against her father and brother's advice. But she is bolstered by the support of a friend she met on a gaming site. They have grown close over the years and he is someone she counts on and has always been there for her. When she finally arrives in Paradise bay, her excitement is squashed when she realizes the store and her cottage are in desperate need of repairs and she is low on cash. On top of that, a surly, sexy man claims to own part of her bookstore. Huxley has big plans for the book store, but wasn't able to complete the sale before Enid's grandmother passed. He is determined to convince her to sell the rest of the store, and leave town, no matter how drawn he is to her. Until he realizes, who she is, and that he can't live without her. Now he must win her trust and convince her that he is a better man and her forever love. As Enid struggles to keep her dream alive, she learns more about the family she never knew. Her online friend is a daily comfort. She is also confused by Huxley, and how he helps her every step of the way. But what happens when she is in love with two men? Huxley and Enid are so great together, they both love books, gaming and family, and had sizzling chemistry. My heart broke for them both with their past hurts and the pain they endured, but loved how it did lead them to each other. I also love all the Spearman family who were cheeky, but were also very supportive and loving.
The narration by Stephanie Nemeth Parker, and Chris Brinkley was impressive! This is the first time I've listened to either of them, and I was completely captivated by their performance. They bring depth to each character and easily bring out all the different emotions and passion that was between Enid and Huxley. I love finding new voices to listen to!
This is a wonderful, witty, emotional, and steamy story that will capture your heart, and make you want to listen to it again!

Entertaining story and narration

Having read and loved the previous books in the Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series I could not wait to dive into Meant For Me which is Huxley Spearman and Enid’s story.

Have you ever taken a leap of faith and done something you may live to regret? That’s the position that Enid is in when she learns that she has inherited her grandmothers’ cottage and bookshop in Paradise Bay, and she decides to throw caution to the wind and move to Paradise Bay. Unfortunately for Enid it may have been a bad decision since the bookshop appears to be a money pit.

Huxley is attracted to Enid from the start however Enid is shocked to learn that he had given her grandmother a deposit to purchase the bookshop which complicates matters. However, the heart wants who the heart wants and the attraction between them sizzles. What will happen when secrets are revealed? Will they be able to work things out or will their relationship be destroyed?

The narration by Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and Chris Brinkley certainly brought the characters and stroy to life. Their voices are easy to listen to and I found myself drawn in to their performances.

I know when I read a book by Ms. Burgoa, that I am in for an entertaining, often emotional, heart-warming story and Meant For Me was exactly that and was a great addition to the series.

Enjoyable story

I enjoyed this story. Enid finds out she had a grandmother who left her a cottage and bookstore and decides to make her dream of owning a business come true…but they are in need of a lot of work. Huxley had paid for half the bookstore prior to Enid’s grandmother passing away, so he wants to buy the rest. Enjoyed meeting the Spearman family and look forward to more of this series.

Fun story with amazing narration

Chris Brinkley and Stephanie Nemeth Parker deliver a brilliant performance. Their voices are amazing and they gave the characters perfect voices and emotions. Chris is one of my top favorite narrators with his smooth, smexy and amazing voice. Stephanie is a new to me narrator but I really enjoyed her performance and the life she gave the characters.

Claudia continues to give us amazing, funny and entertaining stories. Huxley and Enid are full of banter, sass and chemistry!

I love the way Claudia wrote this book…the text conversations, hidden identity, enemies to lovers…you will get all the feels, lots of laughs and pure joy when reading this amazing love story.

The story revolves around a books store which made me love this story so much. Enid has her work cut out for her but she is determined, strong and not afraid to put in hard work. Huxley is a a bit grumpy and determined to make a business transaction complete. He runs into an issue…but that issue becomes a challenge…named Enid.

Loved Enid & Huxley

I really enjoyed this story so much. This was my first book narrated by Chris Brinkley and I definitely need more from him in my ears. This was just my second book narrated by Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and once again I really enjoyed her narration. These two were perfect as Huxley and Enid.

These two were online friends for a long time while gaming. Obviously they had no idea who each other was since they never exchanged real names or where they were from. Just vague basic info. These two get off on the wrong foot when they first meet because Huxley had put some money down on the bookstore that was owned by Enid's grandmother. But when her grandmother passed, she left the bookstore to Enid, while Huxley thought he had the rights to the store.

But as time went on, the chemistry between these two really started to grow and eventually Huxley discovers who they are to each other online. But he's afraid he will lose her if he admits what he knows.

I loved that Enid was able to get some answers to some long brewing questions regarding her mother. Huxley was there for her and she just had to learn to open up and trust him, which was very hard for her to do.

And of course we get a little insight into the next story and I can't wait for that one. Really enjoying this series.

Believe in Fate...

This story is so sweet and romantic. I absolutely loved listening to Enid's and Huxleys text conversation. Sometimes I was begging out loud for him just to tell her who he was, but I figured Claudia was saving the best part of the story for last. It also makes you believe in fate because what are the odds that they had known each other for several years meeting online only sight unseen. Then for her to end up in the same town where he lives and falling in love as their real selves and not finding out till later in the story that they were online friends all along.

This couple are true soulmates and together they help each other live out their dreams. My heart broke to hear all of what she found out about her past.

I truly loved hearing Chris Brinkley narrate this book he was the perfect Huxley! He has the smoothest and sultriest voice and Stephanie Nemeth Parker whom I've come to love in this series, outstanding! They were both wonderful!

"I laugh, but I can feel the tension building between us. There’s something there, something more than just friendship. Something more than those kisses or… the time we had sex outside this house. It’s strong and pulling me to her. But I’m not sure how to act on it, or even if Enid feels the same way."
