Best adult fantasy series ever!!
I can't say enough about this series, the characters, and relationships between them had me so invested! The plot was so detailed and easy to follow, with no holes! Olivia's writing is fantastic for adults- such and underrated series!!

decent series inconsistent performances
My main issue is just that the two actors haven't been instructed on how to pronounce names or the kind of accents characters have. They pronounce some names completely differently. And certain characters that were introduced with accents have no trace with the second actor. It's very distracting and just irksome.

And Now I’m Hooked
Look, I almost didn’t read this book because book 1 was so slow and Fallon is insufferable and irrational. Let’s be real, she’s unreasonable and stubborn for the first half of this book, but that is to be expected based on her upbringing. She’s also still naive and dense. At times, I wanted to shake her up but I love this world and story so much, I can get past Fallon. Or forgive her. I hope she grows in the next installment. I hope she becomes the woman worthy of being a crow. Olivia has not disappointed me yet, so there’s hope. Overall, book 2 was remarkable and I can’t wait to see how this story ends.

I devoured House of Pounding Hearts, the second installment in Olivia Wildenstein’s fantasy romance series, The Kingdom of Crows. I loved the continued world-building, character development, flirtatious banter, and relationships fostered throughout this story. I laughed, blushed, felt utterly frustrated, and yet completely breathless as Fallon foolishly attempts to flee the sky kingdom and deny her mind-link to the at times unrestrained and possessive winged monarch. I was enraptured as the romantic tension intensified to a ravenous peak between the love interests. The plot twists in this novel and unexpected betrayals kept me on the edge of my seat. This story ends on a cliffhanger, and I absolutely can not wait to see what comes next

Great story MC is single minded
Great story .. the only thing that is irritating is the MC is so single minded to what she wants is that she ignores everyone and everything around her that points to the truth .. I would say that takes away from the story but in reality it’s more honest to life .. and points out the reality to what happens when you are blinded by what you want rather than what is.

Olivia King makes a superb Fallon
This book was amazing. Olivia King is such a great narration choice for the FMC Fallon and the story that Olivia Wildenstein writes here is just 10/10.
