Judith Burger beschreibt eindrucksvoll den Alltag in der DDR und die Geborgenheit, die Ina im System, in dem sie aufwächst, empfindet. Doch die schleichende Bedrohung durch staatliche Überwachung und eine Atmosphäre der Denunziation lassen in dem Mädchen allmählich Zweifel aufkommen.
