long and satisfying
Zack grows in power at a steady stable rate no instant god mode or nothing he has to earn most of his power sure he starts off lucky but so do all litprg characters but the author strikes a good balance between luck and effort

Great...but something you should know before
So Something I learned after Purchase and Listening... This is a Web story that was popular enough to publish and then go to Audio. By all accounts the beginning of book is pretty rough, a bit all over that place and I almost gave up. It does get better.
I did enjoy the series, Due to the bumpy start and some of the choices the author make other aspects of the story don't quite make sense later but the Book gets better and a lot more interesting and flavorful. I'm pretty sure I will buy the next book, there was that great a turn around in the quality.

Its a multiple part fantasy with lots if battles
there are quests and levels like a computer game. it is not clear what the gamer gets if he wins. The hero playing for earth is a pawn of the big power and he has to collect powers and form alliances as he fights different things. It seems to be well thought out, but I don' want to spend any if my energy points listening further. my

really good book
I was afraid the mix between cultivation and litrpg magic would be weird, but it worked out perfectly. I really enjoyed the book, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

Awesome!
I loved this, yes the MC is OP but he really works his butt off to get to that level of strength and has the scars to show for it because going solo leaves him bloodied pretty much every fight against a group of enemies also loved the transition between him being able to do battle and everything else by himself even if he is just doing things blindly to Oh crap i can't do everything alone even if his allies are not really loyal but i really hope they become real allies at the end, i kinda liked them by the end of the story. One thing that I found annoying was the short chapters but got used to them around chapter 30 also this is more inclined to a cultivation story with a solid system as a base than a litrpg but still incredible good with combining both elements and i have to say my favorite chapter was the 4 fates one because it shows his level compared to the rest of the world! Will definitely buy book 2
